SCHOOL WASTE-POKE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 611,122, dated September 20, 1898.
Application filed December 20, 1897. Serial No. 662,772. (No model.)

which Figure 1 is a side or end View of a desk and seat with our invention applied thereto. Fig. 2 is a detail View of the attachment rod or wire.

The poke is made of cloth or other suitable material, the back part at the top extending sufficiently above thefront part to incase the wire I) and form a convenient opening. The
poke is attached to the desk by means of the wire 5 and the screw-eyes a. The S-shaped hook c is inserted horizontally into the screweye in the under side of the table part of the desk, and the arm dis strapped into the screweye in back of desk, which forms a firm attachment and is easily removed when required to be emptied.
What we claim as our invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The herein-described waste poke or receptacle for use upon school-desks, said receptacle being open at its upper end, and a wire inclosed by one side or flap of said poke or receptacle and having projecting ends, one of which is bent to form an S-shaped hook, and the other end to form alaterally-extending arm, substantially as specified.
