1278845 (1) 玖、發明說明 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係有關於使用色素系追錄型DVD媒體之記錄 再生方法及記錄再生裝置,以及光記錄媒體。 【先前技術】 目前,作爲新世代大容量光碟的DVD - R之開發正在 推進當中。爲提升記錄容量,要項技術的爲記錄位元坑之 微小化的記錄材料之開發,以 Moving Picture Experts Group-2 ( MPEG 2 )爲代表之影像壓縮技術之採用,記錄 坑讀取用半導體雷射之短波長化等技術的開發已屬必要。 目前爲止,紅色波長範圍之半導體雷射,僅有條碼讀 取機、儀器用之6 70奈米一帶之AlGalnP雷射二極體的商 業化,而隨光碟之高密度化,紅色雷射已逐步正式使用在 光儲存市場。DVD機者,其光源已有63 0至690奈米一 帶之半導體雷射波長的規格化。另一方面,再生專用之 DVD - ROM機係以約650奈米波長商業化。 一般,以加熱模式形成坑(紋路)之色素系追錄型 DVD媒體,特定記錄速度下記錄時雷射光的記錄脈衝列 之脈寬及記錄功率已最適化,不同記錄線速下形成之紋路 、間隔之狀態起變化。亦即,紋路之形成所需的最前加熱 脈衝的熱容量不足,相對於最適分解溫度,所達加熱溫度 不同而紋路之平均長度變異,最適加熱脈衝之負載比不同 ,不得均勻之紋路寬度,沿紋路長度有粗細變化,故顫動 -5- (2) 1278845 特性惡化。 又,關於DVD系媒體之物理格式,DVD- R媒體之 格式者,已有稱作坑前平坦部的平坦部之一部份經刻畫的 格式之規格化。採取該方式,則坑前平坦部信號(Lppb )不及0.16時坑前位址等坑前資訊無法良好再生,超出 0.3 2則LPP信號本身於資料區域盡成雜訊,大量產生資 料錯誤。因此,LPP須以壓模配合記錄材料微調刻毚寬度 ’ L P P b則須控制平坦部刻畫寬度於〇 · 1 6至0 · 3 2之範圍。 上述使用色素於記錄層之光記錄媒體有例如,使用聚 次甲基色素或聚次甲基色素及光安定劑作爲記錄材料者( 參考專利文獻1 ),以四吖紫質色素用作記錄材料者(參 考專利文獻2 ),以菁色素及偶氮金屬螯合物色素(鹽形 成色素)用作gg錄材料者(參考專利文獻3),以偶氮金 屬蜜合物色素用作記錄材料者(參考專利文獻4、5), 以甲腊金屬螯合物色素用作記錄材料者(參考專利文獻6 )’以亞甲二吡咯金屬螯合物色素用作記錄材料者(參考 專利文獻7) ’以史克亞(Squaryiiurn)金屬螯合物色素 用作S3錄材料者(參考專利文獻8 )等。並知多有以色素 用作記錄材料作多脈衝記錄者(參考專利文獻9及丨〇 ) 。但未見有對於色素系追錄型DVD媒體以脈衝作記錄, 並著眼於高線速記錄之際與記錄波形的關係者之揭示。 因此現況係,於色素系追錄型DVD媒體,爲得良好 之記錄波形’並可作高線速記錄之記錄再生方法及記錄再 生裝置之開發受到期待。 -6- (3)1278845 (專利文獻1 ) 日本專利特開平1 0 — 1 8 1 2 1 1號公

特開2002 - 28 3 72 ]號公報 國際公開第98/02925 7號小冊 特開2 0 0 0 — 1 2 7 6 2 5號公報 特開平1 1 一 3 1 072 8號公報 特開200 1 — 02323 5號公報 特開平1 0 - 226 1 72號公報 特開2002 — 3 7 045 1號公報 特開2000— 182244號公報 特開2000- 207742號公報 【發明內容】 本發明之目的在提供,對於色素系追錄型DVD媒體 實施高線速記錄之際,可得良好記錄波形之記錄再生方法 及記錄再生裝置。 本發明之目的在提供,使用震盪波長比CD系媒體短 之半導體雷射,可與DVD - R坑前,平坦部方式同樣使資 料加寫部之未記錄區域消失,相較於DVD - R坑前平坦部 方式製作壓模時之微細刻畫寬度控制、LPP信號之往資料 部洩出所致資料錯誤不會發生,採用追錄型DVD系統之 新格式方式高頻顫動格式方式之色素系追錄型DVD媒體 用以解決上述課題之手段如下。 -7- (4) 1278845 <1>其特徵爲:具有設定高頻顫動之導溝的基板上至 少有含有機色素之記錄層之光記錄媒體,對於其記錄層’ 利用最短紋路以外之各紋路加熱脈衝的最前部及後端部二 處於一定時間高輸出化,且該加熱脈衝最前部脈衝光功率 大於後端部脈衝光功率之一脈衝光記錄,以再生光再生該 記錄之記錄再生方法。該<1>之記錄再生方法中,因使用 最短紋路以外之各紋路,加熱脈衝最前部及後端部二處係 於一定時間高輸出化,且該加熱脈衝最前部之脈衝光功率 大於後端部脈衝光功率之一脈衝光記錄,可形成最適脈衝 照射形式,相對於色素系追錄型DVD媒體,任何線速下 皆可低抖動、低錯誤率作記錄,可比用於DVD — R之坑前 平坦部格式更簡便製造之高頻顫動格式高效率實施資料部 之加寫。並且,對於與目前大量製造之CD — R、CD — RW 大致相同格式之色素系追錄型DVD媒體(例如,DVD + R )亦可進行記錄。 <2>記錄紋路之際,使所有紋路的脈衝後端部以後之 冷卻脈衝之照射光量於一定時間在 0.1毫瓦以下之上述 <1>之記錄再生方法。該<2>之記錄再生方法中,上述<1> 之紋路記錄時脈衝後端部以後之冷卻脈衝的照射光量之加 以規定,對於色素系追錄型DVD媒體實施高線速記錄之 際’可得良好之記錄波形。 <3 >使最短的紋路之脈衝光功率,與該最短紋路以外 之紋路的脈衝最前部高輸出化之脈衝光功率相等的上述 <1>或<2>中任一之記錄再生方法。該<3>之記錄再生方法 (5) 1278845 中,形成各紋路之際以追加功率之高輸出化記錄功率(脈 衝光功率)可分配最適化功率以免對記錄再生裝置施加過 度負荷,對於色素系追錄型DVD媒體實施高線速記錄之 際,可得良好之記錄波形。 <4>使脈衝後端部以後之冷卻脈衝照射光量在〇.1毫 瓦以下之時間,係最短間隔的1/6至6/6長度之上述<1> 至<3>中任一的記錄再生方法。該<4>之記錄再生方法係 ’設於脈衝後端部以後之冷卻脈衝的較佳條件加以規定者 ,使脈衝後端部以後之冷卻脈衝的照射光量在〇. 1毫瓦以 下之時間爲最短間隔的1/6至6/6之長度,即可在對於色 素系追錄型DVD媒體(例如DVD + R )實施高線速記錄之 際,獲得良好之記錄波形。 <5>前一間隔長度係最短之紋路的形成之記錄脈衝列 最前部加熱脈衝寬度,依該紋路長度是否最短加以區別, 將最短紋路之最前部加熱脈寬設定爲長於非最短紋路之最 前部加熱脈寬,並且將形成最短紋路之記錄脈衝列之最前 加熱脈寬,依該最短紋路之前一間隔長度是否最短作區別 ,將前一間隔長度係最短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬,設定爲 短於前一間隔長度係最短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬的上述 <1>至<4>中任一之記錄再生方法。 <6>高頻顫動係,以基本時鐘週期爲τ則頻率爲4T 至96T之上述<1>至5>中任一的記錄再生方法。 <7>高頻顫動之振幅(Wo ),與用來控制以二分光探 測器探測軌跡錯誤之軌跡錯誤探測信號的推拉振幅(p p ) - 9- (6) 1278845 之比(Wo/PP )係同步配合至0.1 $ Wo/PP S 0·4的上述 <1>至<6>中任一之記錄再生方法。 <8>記錄光之波長係600至720奈米的上述<1>至<7> 中任一之記錄再生方法。 <9>對於記錄光及再生光之波長±5奈米之波長範圍 的光,上述記錄層單層之折射率η係1.5SnS3.G’且衰 減係數k爲0.02SkS0.2的上述<1>至<8>中任一之記錄 再生方法。 φ <1〇>光記錄媒體係色素系追錄型DVD媒體之上述 <1>至<9>中任一之記錄再生方法。 <11>其特徵爲:使用於上述<1>至<10>中任一之記錄 _ 再生方法的光記錄媒體。 · <12>有具設定高頻顫動之導溝的基板,及於該基板上 至少有反射層、含有機色素之記錄層、保護層、粘合層以 及保護基板的上述<11>之光記錄媒體。 <13>反射層含選自金、金合金、銀、銀合金、銘及鋁 g 合金之至少一種的上述<1 1>或<12>之光記錄媒體。 <14>保護層含紫外線硬化樹脂的上述<1〇>至<12>中 任一之光記錄媒體。 <15>爲製成貼合二片基板的雙面構造之光記錄媒體, 黏合層設於該二片基板間,且用於該黏合層之黏合劑係紫 外線硬化樹脂的<10>至<14>中任一之光記錄媒體。 <16>係追錄型光記錄媒體之上述中任一 之光記錄媒體。 -10- (7) 1278845 <17>用於 DVD—R及 DVD + R之任一的上述<10>至 <15>中任一之光記錄媒體。 <18>其特徵爲:具有對於有設定高頻顫動之導溝的基 板上至少有含有機色素之記錄層而成之光記錄媒體的記錄 層’以使最短紋路以外之各紋路,加熱脈衝之最前部及後 端部二處於一定時間高輸出,且該加熱脈衝之最前部脈衝 光功率大於後端部脈衝光功率之一脈衝光進行記錄的記錄 機構之記錄再生裝置。 <19>記錄機構係,記錄紋路之際,使所有紋路的脈衝 後端部以後之冷卻脈衝之照射光量爲一定時間0.1毫瓦以 下之機構的上述<18>之記錄再生裝置。 <2 0:>具有使最短紋路之脈衝光功率與該最短紋路以外 之紋路的脈衝最前部經高輸出化之脈衝光功率相等之機構 的上述<18>或<19>之記錄再生裝置。 <2 1 >具有使脈衝後端部以後之冷卻脈衝照射光量在 〇·〗毫瓦以下之時間,爲最短間隔的1/6至6/6長度之機 構的上述<18>至<20>中任一之記錄再生裝置。 <2 2>具有形成前一間隔長度係最短之紋路的記錄脈衝 列之最前加熱脈寬,以該紋路長度是否爲最短加以區別, 設定最短紋路之最前加熱脈寬長於非最短紋路之最前加熱 脈寬,並且,形成最短紋路之記錄脈衝列之最前加熱脈寬 ’以該最短紋路之前一間隔長度是否最短作區別,將前一 間隔長度係最短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬,設定爲短於前一 間隔長度非最短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬之機構的上述< 1 8> -11 * (8) 1278845 至<2 1>中任一之記錄再生裝置。 <23>光記錄媒體係色素系追錄型DVD媒體之上述 <18>至<22>中任一的記錄再生裝置。 【實施方式】 (記錄再生方法) 本發明之記錄再生方法係,具有設定高頻顫動之導溝 的基板上至少有含有機色素之記錄層而成之光記錄媒體, 對於其記錄層,用使最短紋路以外之各紋路,加熱脈衝之 最前部及後端部二處於一定時間高輸出化,且該加熱脈衝 之最前部脈衝光功率大於後端部脈衝光功率之一脈衝光進 行記錄,以再生光再生該記錄。 此時,記錄紋路之際,以使所有紋路的脈衝後端部以 後之冷卻脈衝之照射光量爲一定時間0.1毫瓦以下爲佳。 又,使上述最短紋路之脈衝光功率,與該可最短紋路 以外之紋路的最前部經高輸出化之脈衝光功率相等,可係 形成各紋路之際以追加功率而高輸出化之記錄功率(脈衝 光功率)使記錄再生裝置免遭過度負荷之施加的最適功率 分配。 又,脈衝後端部以後之冷卻脈衝照射光量在0· 1毫瓦 以下之時間,係以最短間隔的1 /6至6/6之長度爲佳。超 出該範圍則難得本發明之效果。 又’以形成前一間隔長度係最短之紋路的記錄脈衝列 之最前加熱脈寬,依該紋路長度是否最短作區別,設定最 -12 - 1278845 Ο) 短紋路之最前加熱脈寬爲長於非最短紋路之最前加熱脈寬 ’並且,形成最短紋路之記錄脈衝列之最前加熱脈寬,以 該最短紋路之前一間隔長度是否最短作區別,將前一間隔 長度係最短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬,設定爲短於前一間隔 長非最短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬爲佳。 本發明中最短紋路以外之各紋路,脈衝最前部及後端 部之追加功率高輸出化之長度,以基本時鐘週期T的1 /2 至2倍,亦即,〇·5τ至2T爲尤佳,但亦可於〇·2Τ至 2.5 T之範圍實施。又最短紋路之單純脈衝之光量,於波 形控制上,係以約略等於最短紋路以外之各紋路的最前部 追加光量爲佳,但若係在波形產生電路上可產生之範圍, 則亦可不相等。追加功率之比率係,以最短紋路之脈衝光 功率及最短紋路以外之各紋路的最前部追加脈衝光功率爲 W0 ’最短紋路以外各紋路之後端部的追加脈衝光功率爲 W1,中間部之未追加脈衝光功率爲 W2,則 W0/W2及 W1/W2 在 1.05 至 3.00,以 1·08 至 2.00 爲佳,且 W0>W1 〇 選擇如此範圍內之脈衝記錄波形,尤以高線速記錄當 中,低抖動之良好記錄成爲可能。 上述色素系光I己錄媒體右欲貫現闻線速化則記錄功率 非大不可,結果紋路間更易於起熱干涉。因而,形成紋路 之際爲使紋路邊緣切削良好,本發明即有效。.. 向來之直接進行記錄者,可得最低抖動之功率及錯誤 最少的功率發生偏移’功率邊距縮小。具體而言,高線速 ^ 13- (10) 1278845 記錄當中可得最低抖動之記錄功率出現記錄信號之非對稱 性偏向負側’錯誤測定時無論是如何之低抖動仍易有錯誤 出現。例如,非對稱性係負者,雖係低抖動、低錯誤,因 光記錄媒體、驅動機之歷年變化等,非對稱性在零附近所 記錄之媒體仍易有錯誤出現。
又,一紋路以多數之脈衝光(多脈衝)寫入時,若將 脈衝光最適化,上述之低非對稱性問題亦可解決,而因使 用多數之脈衝光,脈衝光之開關時間產生變異時記錄品質 H 本身亦有變異之可能。該變異在高線速記錄愈容易發生。 相對於此,本發明因係每一紋路以一脈衝光記錄,具 有可提供記錄品質變異小於該多脈衝光記錄之記錄方法的 優點。又,寫入中之位址之探測,較之多脈衝法因係單純 之記錄波形,記錄時之光量容易平均化,不只間隔部之反 射光量,紋路部之光量亦平均化,位址探測變爲可能,於 脈衝後端設〇· 1毫瓦以下之冷卻脈衝亦具有位址探測能比 較容易實施之優點。 · 在此,第4至7圖示本發明的該記錄波形之一例。此 時,僅最短紋路係單純矩形波,最短紋路以外之紋路的參 數可選擇大致共通之參數,有易於往已實用化的驅動機展 開之優點,隨記錄媒體以簡化之記錄波形謀求良好之抖動 時,高速記錄中,記錄紋路長度爲4T (其中T表基本時 鐘週期)時,中間低功率部之開關精度須予提高,僅只該 4T部份於往驅動機之展開有負荷之施加。 又,考慮熱千涉之影響,形成前一間隔長度係最短之 >14- (11) 1278845 紋路的記錄脈衝列之最前加熱脈寬,依該紋路是否最短作 區別’設定最短紋路之最前加熱脈寬爲長於非最短紋路之 最前加熱脈寬,並且形成最短紋路之記錄脈衝列的最前加 熱脈寬,依該最短紋路之前一間隔長度是否最短作區別, 將前一間隔長度係最短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬,設定爲短 於前一間隔長度係最短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬,即可實現 更低抖動之記錄。 上述最前加熱脈寬從短設定之尤佳修正量(長度)係 0.02T至0.10T (其中T表基本時鐘週期)之範圍。形成 之紋路的前一間隔長度係最短時,形成該紋路之脈衝列的 最前脈寬若大致等於其它紋路者,則因熱干涉而該前一間 隔長度縮短,抖動有些惡化。因而僅於此時縮短用以記錄 紋路之最前加熱脈寬會有效果。脈寬欲更予縮短時最前加 熱脈衝之前緣的縮短即有效自不待言。 又,形成之紋路的前一間隔長度係最短時,若形成該 紋路之脈衝列的最前加熱脈寬短於0 · 1 0 T,則紋路長度本 身過短而不佳。 將上述最短紋路之最前加熱脈寬設定爲長於其它紋路 之際的修正量(長度)以0.05T至0.25T爲佳。尤以記錄 線速加大則最短紋路難以形成,故於上述範圍作修正,加 長最短紋路之最前脈寬。 上述最前加熱脈寬之修正量的具體例列於表1。 (12) 1278845 表1 記錄紋路長度 3 丁 4Τ〜14丁 前 3 丁 ±0·00Τ 一 0.05Τ 一 4T 間 S 隔 1 4T + 0.05Τ ±0·00Τ 長 度
其次列舉上述光記錄媒體之記錄層的必要光學特性項 g。 上述光學特性較佳者爲,對於記錄再生波長附近之長 波長附近的波長範圍之光,亦即,記錄光及再生光之波長 ±5奈米波長範圍之光,記錄層單層之折射率n在1·5^η $3.0,衰減係數k在0.02Sk$0.2之範圍。η不及1.5時 難得充分之光學變化,會有記錄調變度之下降,若超出 3.0則波長依賴性過高,即使在記錄再生波長範圍仍會成 爲錯誤。又,若k不及0.02則會有記錄靈敏度之惡化, 若超出〇·2則會難得50%以上之反射率。 而DVD再生專用機已規格化於65 0奈米附近,但光 記錄媒體之記錄光的波長係規格化於製作專用媒體之63 5 奈米,其它一般用途者係規格化於65 0至660奈米。然而 這些波長至多係中心波長,因雷射二極化(LD )之製造 -16- (13) 1278845 的變異而於短波長側、長波長側震盪。且LD於其特性上 ,一般若溫度上升則波長偏移往長波長側。本發明係可用 含上述波長範圍之600至720奈米的記錄波長實施之方法 〇 其次說明設於基板而蛇行之導溝的顫動特性,用以界 定顫動頻率之T係基本時鐘週期,於DVD (4.7十億字元 )媒體係約0.133微米,時間則係約38奈秒。 通常顫動頻帶係用相當於15 0T至400T (其中T表基 本時鐘週期)者,而該頻帶於加寫調頻、相位調變資料時 ,顫動頻率過低,前資料與加寫資料之間極爲空曠不利於 高密度記錄。相對於此,DVD - R設有LPP,以該LPP信 號控制資料之寫入位置。 然而,上述LPP方式下若LPP之信號振幅過小則 LPP無法良好讀出,反之若LPP過大則下次LPP信號本 身洩進寫入資料,發生多起資料錯誤之缺失。因此,上述 LPP方式中,設限於0.16$LPPbS0.32,較佳者爲0.18S LPPbS 0.26,製作壓模之際,平坦部之刻畫寬度須予微細 控制。 相對於此,以高頻顫動方式即不必LPP,因同步作顫 動之調變,不致於會有如同LPP方式之多起資料錯誤之 情事。此時,上述高頻顫動頻率以4T至96T爲佳。其一 方面,若超出4T,則頻率過高難以探測,於旋轉控制、 位址偵測可靠度上亦有問題。另一方面,若大於96T則頻 率過低,追錄資料之際其次的間隔拉不開,會發生容量下 ‘17- (14) 1278845 降、資料處理速率下降之問題。 本發明對象之DVD媒體的顫動振幅若滿足’通過例 如4百萬赫、3 0千赫之高、低通濾波器之信號的顫動振 幅(W 〇 ),與通過適當之濾波器,例如3 0千赫之濾波器 之推拉信號(PP)之比(wo/pp)係 0.lSW〇/PPS0.4, 本發明目的之與顫動同步配合即容易達到,較佳者爲, 0.15SWO/PPS0.30。上述Wo/PP値若不及〇.1則信號強 度不足以獲致同步,超出〇·4則有資料部錯誤增多之傾向 。但是,於LPP方式作比較,LPP大之媒體,隨對於發生 資料錯誤之影響小的顫動振幅之增加,資料錯誤減緩。 又,製作壓模之際,爲使上述LPP方式之LPP刻畫 寬度在上述0.16至0.32之範圍內須有高度之刻畫寬度控 制技術,本發明的高頻顫動方式中,高頻產生源及顫動振 幅大小(以顫動振幅控制電路可於高再現性下得任意振幅 )亦予管制,目的即可達到,故壓模之良率、媒體之良率 可大幅提升。 上述格式之基板,使用有機色素以溶劑塗敷法形成記 錄層者之例中,溝深以1000至2500埃(100至250奈米 )爲佳,1500至2000埃(150至200奈米)更佳。上述 溝深不及1 000埃時,推拉信號之充分取得、追縱控制會 無法達成,若超出2500埃則於基板成形之際會有轉印性 之惡化。 設置上述色素記錄層時,以顫動頻率爲mT (其中m 表自然數),以色素溝深爲dl,則色素溝深以I 20 0 S dl (15) 1278845 x m S 1 6 Ο Ο Ο 0爲佳。上述d 1 x m低於1 2 Ο 0則不得充分之 差異信號,記錄再生時會無法作充分之追蹤,超出 1 6 0 0 0 〇則反之因振盪而不適於追縱,並係起因於前敘基 板成形之際的轉印極限之基板溝深極限,實質上無法高於 160000 ° 又,爲確保記錄密度4至5 0億字元之容量,軌距以 b. 64至0.8微米爲佳。溝寬隨記錄材料而異,而於幾乎所 有的有機材料,可採用半値寬0.18至0.40微米之範圍。 (光記錄媒體) 本發明之光記錄媒體係包括,具有用於上述本發明的 記錄再生方法之設定高頻顫動之導溝的基板,及該基板上 之至少的反射層、含有機色素之記錄層、保護層、粘合層 以及保護基板而成,必要時可更有底塗層、硬塗層等其它 層。 在此,第1A至1D圖係一般追錄型光碟之層構造的 一例。第2八至2C圖係一般CD — R媒體之層構造的一例 。本發明對象之色素系追錄型DVD媒體之較佳基本構造 ,如第3 A、3 B圖,第一基板與第二基板(保護基板)間 有記錄層,以粘合劑貼合。第1 A至3B圖中,1表基板、 2表記錄層、3表底塗層、4表保護層、5表基板面硬塗層 、6表反射層、7表保護基板、8表粘合層。 上述記錄層可係有機色素層單層’亦可係用以提高反 射率的有機色素層與反射層之層合。記錄層與基板之間可 -19- (16) 1278845 設底塗層或保護層,爲提升功能各層亦可係二層以上之層 合構造。最常用者係第一基板/有機色素層/反射層/保護層 /粘合層/第二基板(保護基板)之構造。 ~基板~ 上述基板如上述,具有設定高頻顫動之導溝,由基板 側進行記錄再生時對於所用之雷射非係透明不可,由記錄 層側進行記錄再生時則不必透明。上述基板材料可用,例 φ 如聚酯樹脂、丙烯酸樹脂、聚醯胺樹脂、聚碳酸酯樹脂、 聚烯烴樹脂、酚樹脂、環氧樹脂、聚醯亞胺樹脂等塑膠、 或玻璃、陶瓷、金屬等。 上述基板表面亦可更形成位址信號等預格式。 一記錄層一 上述記錄層係經雷射光照射產生某種光學變化,以該 變化記錄資訊者,其材料以色素爲佳。 · 上述色素有例如偶氮系色素、甲腊系色素、亞甲二吡 咯系色素、(聚)次甲基系色素、萘菁系色素、酞菁系色 素、四吖紫質系色素、史克亞(squarylium)系系色素、 克酮鏠系色素、吡喃鏺系色素、萘醌系色素、蒽醌系(陰 丹士林系)色素、。山喱系色素、三苯甲烷系色素、莫系色 素、四氫膽鹼系色素、菲系色素、三酚噻畊系色素、或這 些之金屬錯合物等。其中較佳者爲偶氮(金屬螯合物)色 素、甲腊(金屬螯合物)色素、史克亞(squarylium )( -20- (17) 1278845 金屬II合物)色素、亞甲二D(t咯(金屬螯合物)色素、三 亞甲菁色素、四吖紫質色素。 上述色素之熱分解特性’分解開始溫度以1〇()至36〇 °C爲佳,100至35〇t更佳。上述分解開始溫度若超過 3 6 0 C則錄時會有坑之形成不順,抖動特性變差,而不 及100°c則碟片之保存安定性惡化。 上述色素爲提升光學特性、記錄靈敏度、信號特性等 ’亦可混合以其它有機色素、金屬、金屬化合物、或層合 Φ 色素層及其匕有機色素、金屬、金屬化合物所成之層。 上述金屬或金屬化合物有例如In、Te、Bi、Se、Sb 、Ge、Sn、Al、Be、Te02、SnO、As、Cd 等,可各分散 混合或層合使用。 亦可於上述染料中更分散混合以例如離子體樹脂、聚 醯胺樹脂、乙烯系樹脂、天然高分子、聚矽氧、液態橡膠 等種種材料、或矽烷偶合劑等,爲改良特性亦可倂用安定 劑(例如過渡金屬錯合物)、分散劑、難燃劑、滑劑、抗 鲁 靜電劑、界面活性劑、塑化劑等。 上述記錄層之形成可經蒸鍍、濺鍍、CVD '溶劑塗敷 等一般方法進行。使用上述塗敷法時,可將上述染料等溶 解於有機溶劑,以噴霧、輥塗、浸沾、旋塗等常用塗敷法 爲之。 上述有機溶劑一般有甲醇、乙醇、異丙醇等醇類;丙 酮、丁酮、環己酮等酮類;N,N—二甲基甲醯胺、N,N -二甲基乙醯胺等醯胺類;二甲亞碾等亞硕類;四氫呋喃 -21 - (18) 1278845 、二哼烷' 二***、乙二醇一甲醚等醚類;乙酸甲醋、乙 酸乙酯等酯類;氯仿、二氯甲烷、二氯乙烷、四氣化碳、 三氯乙烷等脂肪族鹵化烴類;苯、二甲苯、氯苯、二氯苯 等芳香族類;甲氧乙醇、乙氧乙醇等賽璐蘇類;己院、戊 烷、環己烷、甲環己烷等烴類等。 上述記錄層之膜厚以100埃至10微米爲佳,200至 2000埃更佳。 一底塗層一 ; 上述底塗層係爲(1 )粘合性之提升,(2 )水或氣體 等之阻障,(3 )記錄層保存安定性之提升,(4 )反射率 之提升,(5 )保護基板免受溶劑之害,(6 )導溝、導坑 、預格式之形成等目的而設。對於上述(1 )之目的,可 用離子體樹脂、聚醯胺樹脂、乙烯基樹脂、天然樹脂、天 然高分子、聚矽氧、液態橡膠等種種高分子化合物、或砂 院偶合劑等。針對上述(2)及(3)之目的,上述高分子 材料以外,可用 SiO、MgF、Si02、TiO、ZnO、TiN、SiN 等無機化合物,更可用Zn、Cu、Ni、Cr、Ge、Sn、An、 Ag、A1等金屬或半金屬。針對上述(4 )之目的,可用 Al、Au、Ag等金屬,次甲基染料、。山。星系染料等所成之 具有金屬光澤的有機薄膜。對於上述(5)及(6)之目的 ’可以使用紫外線硬化樹脂、熱硬化樹脂、熱塑性樹脂等 〇 上述底塗層之膜厚以0.0 1至3 0微米爲佳,〇 . 〇 5至 -22- (19) 1278845 l 〇微米更佳。 一反射層一 上述反射層之材料有例如,All、Ag、Cr、Ni、Α1、 Fe、Sn等單質可得高反射率,不易腐蝕之金屬、半金屬 ,這些之合金等,其中基於反射率、生產力,以金、金合 金、銀、銀合金、銘、銘合金爲尤佳。 上述反射層之成膜法無特殊限制,可隨目的適當選擇 ,有例如蒸鍍、濺鍍等。 上述反射層之膜厚以50至5 0 00埃爲佳,100至3 000 埃更佳。 -保護層、基板面硬塗層一 上述保護層及基板面硬塗層係爲(1)保護記錄層( 反射吸收層)免於損傷、麈埃、污染等,(2 )提升記錄 層(反射吸收層)之保存安定性,(3 )提升反射率等目 的而使用。針對這些目的,可以使用與上述下拉層同之材 料。又,亦可用聚丙烯酸甲酯、聚碳酸酯、環氧樹脂、聚 苯乙烯樹脂、聚酯樹脂、纖維素樹脂、脂肪族烴樹脂、天 然橡膠、苯乙烯丁二烯樹脂、氯丁二烯橡膠、腊、醇酸樹 脂、乾性油、松脂等熱軟化性、熱熔性樹脂等有機材料。 最佳者爲生產力優之紫外線硬化樹脂。 上述保護層或基板面硬塗層之膜厚以〇.〇1至30微米 爲佳,〇·〇5至10微米更佳。 -23- (20) 1278845 上述底塗層 '保護層及基板面硬塗層可如同記錄層, 含有安定劑、分散劑、難燃劑、滑劑、抗靜電劑、界面活 性劑、塑化劑等。 一保護基板- 上述保護基板’當由保護基板側照射雷射光時,對於 所用之雷射光必須透明,單用作保護板時不透明亦可。 可用之保護基板材料與上述基板材料完全相同,可用 例如聚酯樹脂、丙嫌酸樹脂、聚醯胺樹脂、聚碳酸醋樹脂 、聚烯烴樹脂、酚樹脂、環氧樹脂、聚醯亞胺樹脂等塑膠 、或玻璃、陶瓷、金屬等。 一粘合層一 上述粘合層之材料若係可粘合二片記錄媒體之材料即 無特殊限制’可隨目的適當選擇,考慮生產力時,以紫外 線硬化型粘合劑或熱熔型粘合劑爲佳。 (記錄再生裝置) 本發明之記錄再生裝置係具有,對於具有設定高頻顫 動之導、溝的基板上有至少含有機色素之光記錄媒體的記錄 層’以最短紋路以外之各紋路使加熱脈衝之最前部及後端 部二處於一定時間高輸出化,且該加熱脈衝之最前部脈衝 光功率大’於後端部脈衝光功率之一脈衝光進行記錄之記 錄機構而成,更於必要時具有其它機構。 -24- (21) 1278845 上述記錄機構係以於記錄紋路之際,使所有紋路的脈 衝後端部以後之冷卻脈衝的照射光量於一定時間0.1毫瓦 以下之機構爲佳。 上述記錄機構有例如光碟機等。 上述光記錄媒體有例如 DVD - RAM · WO、DVD - R 、DVD + R 以及 DVD - RAM、DVD — RW、DVD + RW 碟片 可記錄之DVD等。前者之DVD-RAM· WO、DVD— R、 DVD + R係只能記錄一次之DVD (亦稱DVD Write Once) · ,後者之 DVD — RAM、DVD — RW、DVD + RW係能多次記 錄之DVD。 本發明之記錄再生裝置,較佳者爲具有使最短紋路之 脈衝光功率,與該最短紋路以外之紋路的脈衝最前部之高 輸出化脈衝光功率相等之機構。 本發明之記錄再生裝置,較佳者爲具有使脈衝後端部 以後之冷卻脈衝照射光量〇 · 1毫瓦以下之時間,爲最短間 隔的1/6至6/6之長度的機構。 φ 本發明之記錄再生裝置,較佳者爲具有將形成前一間 隔長度係最短之紋路的記錄脈衝列之最前加熱脈寬,依該 紋路之長度是否最短作區別,將最短紋路之最前加熱脈寬 設定爲長於非最短紋路之最前加熱脈寬,並且,將形成最 短紋路之記錄脈衝列的最前加熱脈寬’依該最短紋路之前 一間隔長度是否爲最短作區別,將前一間隔長度係最短之 紋路的最前加熱脈寬,設定爲短於前一間隔長度非最短之 紋路的最前加熱脈寬之機構。 -25- (22) 1278845 在此,參照第8圖說明,以本發明之記錄再生裝置實 施本發明之記錄再生方法的一樣態。 弟8圖係光碟機主要構造之一例的功能方塊圖。第8 圖中11示光碟、12示主軸馬達、13示光檢取器、14示 馬達驅動機、1 5示讀出放大器、16示伺服機構、1 7示 DVD解碼器、18示ADIP解碼器、19示雷射控制器、20 示DVD編碼器、21示DVD — ROM編碼器、22示緩衝 RAM、23示緩衝區管理器、24示DVD-ROM解碼器、25 示 ATAPI/SCSI 介面、26 示 D/A 轉換器、27 示 ROM、28 不CPU、29不RAM、LB示雷射光,Audio示聲頻輸出信 號。 第8圖中箭頭示資料之主要流向,爲圖之簡化,第8 圖中控制各方塊的CPU28僅附以粗線,與各方塊之連接 省略。ROM27儲存有,以CPU可解讀之碼寫成的控制程 式。光碟機之電源成爲ON之狀態,則上述程式載入於圖 未示之主記憶體,上述CPU28依程式控制上述各部之動 作,同時控制所需資料等亦暫存於RAM2 9。 光碟機之構造及動作如下。光碟1 1由主軸馬達1 2驅 動旋轉。該主軸馬達1 2以馬達驅動機14及伺服機構1 6 控制於一定線速或角速。該線速或角速可作階段性變更。 光檢取器13內建有圖未示之半導體雷射、光學系統 、對焦致動器、軌跡致動器、受光元件及位置感測器,將 雷射光LB照射於光碟1 1。又,該光檢取器1 3可由尋覓 馬達移往滑軌方向。這些對焦致動器、軌跡致動器、尋覓 -26- (23) (23)1278845 馬達基於得自受光元件及位置感測器之信號,以馬達驅動 機1 4及伺服機構1 6控制雷射光LB之光點使之位於光碟 1 1上之目的位置。 於是’尋覓時,由光檢取器1 3得之再生信號以讀出 放大器15放大,二進位化後輸入於DVD解碼器17。輸 入之二進位化資料於該DVD解碼器17雙調變爲8/16。而 記錄資料係每8位元整合調變(8 /1 6調變),該調變係將 8位元轉換爲1 6位元。此時附以結合位元,以使目前爲 鲁 止的”1”及”0”之數成爲平均相等。此即所謂「DC成分之 抑制」,DC刻畫再生信號之片階變動受壓抑。 經雙調變之資料進行去交插及錯誤訂正處理。然後, 該資料輸入往DVD - ROM解碼器24,爲提高資料之可靠 度更進行錯誤訂正處理。如此二次進行錯誤訂正處理之資 料,由緩衝區管理器23暫存於緩衝RAM22,排成扇區資 料之狀態下,透過ATAPI/SCSI介面25,一倂轉送至圖未 示之主電腦。而音樂資料者,輸出自DVD解碼器17之資 φ 料,輸入至D/A轉換器26,以類比聲頻輸出信號Audi〇 取出。 記錄時,通過ATAPI/SCSI介面25自主電腦送出之 _ 資料,由緩衝區管理員23暫存於緩衝RAM22。然後,記 錄動作開始,此時,須於之前使雷射光點位於寫入開始處 。於DVD + RW/ + R,該處係由預先於光碟1 1上由軌跡蛇 行刻畫之顫動信號求出。 而於D V D - R W / - R,該處係取代顫動信號改由坑前 -27- (24) 1278845 平坦部,於DVD - RAM/RAM · WO則由前坑求出。 DVD + RW/ + R碟片之顫動信號含所謂 ADIP ( ADress In Pre-groove)之位址資訊,該資訊係由ADIP解碼器18 取出。又,該AD IP解碼器18產生之同步信號,於DVD 編碼器2 0進行錯誤訂正碼之附加、交插,經雷射控制器 1 9、光檢取器1 3,以本發明之記錄波形記錄於光碟1 1。 其次,第9圖係使用第8圖之光碟機之資訊處理裝置 的略圖。 該資訊處理裝置50具備主控制裝置51、介面52、記 錄裝置(HDD) 53、輸入裝置54以及顯示裝置55等。 主控制裝置5 1係含微電腦、主記億體(圖皆未示) 等而構成,控制主電腦全體。 介面52係與光碟機之雙向通信介面,係依據AT API 及SCSI等之標準介面。介面連接於光碟機之介面25(參 考第8圖)。而各介面間之連接形態不只用通信纜線(例 如S C SI纜線)等之通信線的纜線連接,亦可係利用紅外 線等之無線連接。 記錄裝置(HDD,硬碟機)53儲存有可由主控制裝 置的微電腦解讀之碼寫成的程式。當資料處理裝置的驅動 電源成爲ON之狀態時,上述程式載入於主控制裝置的主 記憶體。 顯示裝置55具備例如CRT、液晶顯示器(LCD )、 電漿顯示面板(PDP)等顯示部(圖未示),顯示來自主 控制裝置的各種資訊。 -28- (25) 1278845 輸入裝置54具備鍵盤、滑鼠、指標裝置等中至少其 一輸入媒體(圖未示),將使用者輸入之各種資訊通知主 控制裝置。而,來自輸入媒體之資訊亦能以無線方式輸入 。亦有顯示裝置與輸入裝置一體化者,例如附有觸控板之 CRT等。又,資訊處理裝置搭載有作業系統(0S )。並 且,構成資訊處理裝置之所有元件即皆由〇 S管理。 利用本發明之記錄再生方法及記錄再生裝置,對於色 素系追錄型DVD媒體,無論於何種線速皆可低抖動、低 錯誤率記錄,可高效率實施能比用於DVD - R之坑前平坦 部格式更簡便製造之高頻顫動格式的資料部之加寫。而且 ,對於與目前大量製造之CD - R、CD — RW大致同一格式 之色素系追錄型DVD媒體(例如DVD+ R)亦能記錄。 實施例 以下藉實施例及比較例更具體說明本發明,但本發明 不限於該等實施例。 -光記錄媒體之製作- 以射出成形製作具有溝深1 75 0埃,半値寬0·30微米 ,軌距0.74微米,顫動頻率相當於32Τ之導溝的厚〇.6 毫米、外徑1 20毫米之聚碳酸酯樹脂製基板。 稱取下述構造式(1)及構造式(2)之化合物至質量 比(構造式(1 ):構造式(2 ))成60 : 40,溶解於2, 2,3,3 -四氟一 1 一丙醇,旋塗於上述基板上,形成厚 -29- (26) 1278845 9 Ο 0埃之記錄層後,於8 5 °C乾燥3 0分鐘。於記錄層上以 濺鍍法將銀反射層成膜至1 1 〇 〇埃厚度。於反射層上以丙 烯酸系感光聚合物形成厚5微米之保護層。然後以丙烯酸 系感光聚合物粘合厚度0.6毫米、外徑120毫米之聚碳酸 酯樹脂製平板基板。如上製作光記錄媒體(DVD + R)。

Claims (1)

1278845 ................... 、 --.; . « . w:/ · · I - .j 拾、申請專利範圍 第93 1 07976號專利申請案 中文申請專利範圍修正本 民國95年9月29日修正 1· 一種記錄再生方法,其特徵爲:對於具有設定高 頻顫動之導溝的基板上至少有含有機色素之記錄層的光記 錄媒體之記錄層,使用最短紋路以外之各紋路,加熱脈衝 的最前部及後端部二處於一定時間經高輸出化,且該加熱 脈衝之最前部的脈衝光功率大於後端部之脈衝光功率的一 脈衝光記錄,將該記錄以再生光再生。 2·如申請專利範圍第1項之記錄再生方法,其中記錄 紋路之際,使所有紋路的脈衝後端部以後之冷卻脈衝照射 光量於一定時間在0.1毫瓦以下。 3. 如申請專利範圍第1項之記錄再生方法,其中使 最短紋路之脈衝光功率,與該最短紋路以外的紋路之脈衝 最前部之高輸出化脈衝光功率相等。 4. 如申請專利範圍第1項之記錄再生方法,其中使 脈衝後端部以後之冷卻脈衝照射光量〇. 1毫瓦以下之時間 ,係最短間隔的1/6至6/6的長度。 5 ·如申請專利範圍第1項之記錄再生方法,其中形 成前一間隔長度係最短之紋路的記錄脈衝列之最前加熱脈 寬,依該紋路長度之是否爲最短作區別,將最短紋路之最 前加熱脈寬設定爲長於非最短紋路的最前加熱脈寬’並將 形成最短紋路之記錄脈衝列的最前加熱脈寬,依該最短紋 1278845 路之前一間隔長度是否最短作區別,將前一間隔長度係最 短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬,設定爲短於前一間隔長度非最 短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬。 6 ·如申請專利範圍第1項之記錄再生方法,其中高 頻顫動係,以基本時鐘週期爲T,則頻率爲4T至96T。 7 ·如申請專利範圍第1項之記錄再生方法,其中高 頻頻顫動之振幅(Wo ),與用以控制由二分光探測器探 測出軌跡錯誤的軌跡錯誤探測信號之推拉振幅(PP )之比 (Wo/PP )係同步配合至如下式,0.1S Wo/PPS 0·4。 8. 如申請專利範圍第1項之記錄再生方法,其中記 錄光之波長係6 00至7 20奈米。 9. 如申請專利範圍第1項之記錄再生方法’其中對 於記錄光及再生光的波長±5奈米之波長範圍的光,上述 記錄層單層之折射率η係1·5$η^3·0’且衰減係數k爲 0.02^ 0.2。 10. 如申請專利範圍第1項之記錄再生方法’其中光 記錄媒體係色素系追錄型〇VD媒體° 11. 一種光記錄媒體,其特徵爲:係使用於如申請專 利範圍第1至1 〇項中任一項之記錄再生方法。 12. 如申請專利範圍第1 1項之光記錄媒體’其包括 具有設定高頻顫動之導溝的基板’及於該基板上的至少之 反射層、含有機色素之記錄層、保護層、粘合層及保護基 板。 13. 如申請專利範圍第1 1項之光記錄媒體’其中反 -2 - 1278845 射層含選自金、金合金、銀、銀合金、鋁及鋁合金之至少 一種。 14.如申請專利範圍第1 1項之光記錄媒體,其中保 護層含紫外線硬化樹脂。 15·如申請專利範圍第1 1項之光記錄媒體,其中用 以貼合二片基板成爲雙面構造之光記錄媒體的黏合層係設 於該二片基板間,且用於該黏合層之黏合劑係紫外線硬化 樹脂。 16. 如申請專利範圍第1 1項之光記錄媒體,其係追 錄型光記錄媒體。 17. 如申請專利範圍第1 1項之光記錄媒體,其係用 於DVD - R及DVD + R之任一。 18. —種記錄再生裝置,其特徵爲:具有對於有設定 高頻顫動之導溝的基板上至少有含有機色素之記錄層的光 記錄媒體之記錄層,以最短紋路以外各紋路,加熱脈衝之 最前部及後端部二處於一定時間經高輸出化,且該加熱脈 衝之最前部的脈衝光功率大於後端部之脈衝光功率的一脈 衝光進行記錄之記錄機構。 1 9 .如申請專利範圍第1 8項之記錄再生裝置,其中 記錄機構係,記錄紋路之際,使所有紋路之脈衝的後端部 以後之冷卻脈衝之照射光量於一定時間〇· 1毫瓦以下的機 構。 20.如申請專利範圍第1 8項之記錄再生裝置,其中 具有使最短紋路之脈衝光功率與該最短紋路以外之紋路的 -3- 1278845 脈衝最前部之經高輸出化的脈衝光功率相等之機構。 2 1·如申請專利範圍第1 8項之記錄再生裝置,其中 具有使脈衝後端部以後之冷卻脈衝照射光量在0· 1毫瓦以 下之時間,係最短間隔的1/6至6/6之長度的機構。 22·如申請專利範圍第1 8項之記錄再生裝置,其中 具有,將形成前一間隔長度係最短之紋路的記錄脈衝列之 最前加熱脈寬,以該紋路長度是否爲最短作區別,設定最 短紋路之最前加熱脈衝爲長於非最短紋路之最前加熱脈寬 ,並將形成最短紋路之記錄脈衝列的最前加熱脈寬,依該 最短紋路之前一間隔長度是否最短作區別,將前一間隔長 度係最短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬,設定爲短於前一間隔長 度非最短之紋路的最前加熱脈寬之機構。 23·如申請專利範圍第18項之記錄再生裝置,其中光 記錄媒體係色素系追錄型DVD媒體。
