Abstract

A seat lock device (50) wherein an arm member (55) extends downward from a lock member (75) disposed in the rear of a vehicle frame (13) and serving to lock the joint with a seat hook (57) disposed in the lower surface of a seat (26), the arm member (55) operatively abutting against the operating cam (54) of a cylinder lock (52) used to unlock the joint which is installed below a vehicle body cover (35) covering the rear portion of the vehicle body and in the side surface (41a) of a rear fender (41). This eliminates the need for providing the vehicle body cover (35) with an opening opposed to the cylinder lock (52) and facilitates the keying operation of the cylinder lock (52) as there is no need for movement from the side to the rear of the vehicle body in keying the cylinder lock (52).
