Abstract

Description

混合及捏合機
本發明係有關於一種針對連續製備過程的混合及捏合機,具有裝料及混合裝置,其包括殼體,該殼體界定一空心的內腔,在該內腔中設有旋轉且較佳同時平移運動的蝸桿軸,以及具有卸料裝置,例如卸料擠出機。
此類混合及捏合機特別是被應用於塑性及/或膏狀材料之處理。此類機器例如用於黏塑性材料之處理、塑膠之均質化及塑化,填料及補強材料之混入以及針對食品工業之起始材料的製備。在此情形下,蝸桿軸構成工作機構,其將待處理之材料沿軸向向前運輸或輸送,且其中將材料之組分相互混合。
若採用適當的卸料裝置,例如卸料擠出機,並且此卸料裝置與造粒裝置或類似裝置(例如間歇式切割裝置、線材模、成型模具、滾壓模或類似裝置)連接,則此類混合及捏合機特別適於製備聚合物顆粒、聚合物擠壓型材、聚合物成型件以及諸如此類。其中,透過混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置產生(例如PVC、橡膠、食品、動物飼料、粉末塗料、無鹵的阻燃劑、藥品等的)均勻的聚合物熔體或混合物,其隨後被送入卸料裝置,並且自此卸料裝置被輸送至諸如造粒裝置。例如在混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置之前區段中將混合物之各成分相互混合並均質化,並自如此製備之均勻混合物產生熔體(在混合物之至少一成分係可熔化的情況下),其中這在裝料及混合裝置之中間及後區段中發生。隨後透過卸料裝置 將如此產生之熔體例如輸送至水下造粒裝置,在其中透過噴嘴板之噴嘴以例如2百萬帕斯卡對熔體進行壓製,並且直接在自噴嘴板的出口處透過旋轉式刀具切割成顆粒,並且透過流經噴嘴板之正面的製程用水加固成微粒。作為替代方案,亦可透過擠出模具或成型件模具對熔體或膏狀混合物(在未產生熔體的情況下)進行壓製,從而製備聚合物成型件。
CH 278575 A以及CH 464656例如揭示過此類混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置。
就此等混合及捏合機而言,裝料及混合裝置之蝸桿軸較佳不僅實施旋轉運動,而是同時亦沿軸向、即在蝸桿軸的方向上往復平移運動。因此,運動過程之特徵較佳在於,沿軸向視之,蝸桿軸實施與旋轉疊加的往復運動。藉由此運動過程,能夠將內裝件,即諸如捏合銷或捏合齒的捏合元件送入裝料及混合裝置之殼體。由於捏合銷或捏合齒之存在,設於主軸、即所謂之軸桿上的蝸輪(在波紋桿之橫截面中視之)並不連貫,而是劃分成數個單個的葉片元件,其各自在軸桿之橫截面圓周的特定角區段的範圍延伸。相鄰的葉片元件既沿軸向亦沿軸桿之外周向間隔一定距離,亦即,在相鄰的葉片元件既沿軸向亦沿軸桿之外周向設有各一間隙。例如當蝸桿軸之整個軸桿或蝸桿軸之軸桿之一軸向區段相對橫截面圓周而言包括三個葉片元件,此等葉片元件各自在軸桿之橫截面圓周的例如100°的角區段範圍延伸時,便稱之為三葉蝸桿軸三葉蝸桿軸區段。如此對旋轉以及蝸桿軸之沿軸向的平移運動進行控制,使得各葉片元件藉由其側邊進入對應的捏合元件附近,從而將待混合及捏合的材料壓縮並向其施加剪切效應,藉此促進混合及/或捏合操作,而不會發生捏合元件與葉片元件的碰撞。除此之外,捏合元件與葉片元件之側邊如此靠近,使得捏合元件防止混合物之組分在葉片元件之側邊上的沈積,故捏合元件就結果而言亦引發對葉片元件之清潔。當然,葉片元件之數目及幾何結構必須與捏合元件之數目匹 配。各捏合元件通常在裝料及混合裝置之殼體之內周面上(沿軸向)設置在與葉片元件之幾何結構及數目匹配的數排中,此等排在殼體之內周面之至少一區段的範圍延伸。若在殼體的內周面上設有例如四個包含捏合元件的排,則蝸桿軸可在其外周面上(在橫截面中視之)具有四個葉片元件,在此等葉片元件之間設有各一足夠寬的距離,使得捏合元件能夠穿過此等距離運動。
如前文所述,在混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置之(沿輸送方向視之的)下游末端上設有卸料裝置,以將在裝料及混合裝置中製備之均勻混合物自裝料及混合裝置送入另一諸如造粒裝置的處理裝置,以作進一步處理。為了將裝料及混合裝置之殼體與卸料裝置連接,沿輸送方向視之,通常在裝料及混合裝置之殼體之下游端面側末端上連接元件。此連接元件通常為法蘭。連接元件之用途為,將殼體之下游末端與卸料裝置之輸入側相連,從而能夠將混合物自裝料及混合裝置如此送入卸料裝置,使得能夠在該處對混合物作進一步輸送,並且避免混合物在轉移過程中因機械或熱影響而受損。為此,設於裝料及混合裝置之殼體中的蝸桿軸穿過此連接元件延伸,從而將混合物透過連接元件直接輸送至卸料裝置。
就習知之混合及捏合機而言,在移入卸料裝置前,對在裝料及混合裝置中製備之混合物或熔體進行除氣,從而將包含在混合物或熔體中之氣體及其他易揮發成分,如殘餘水分及單體自混合物或熔體移除。就習知之混合及捏合機之一變體方案而言,為此在裝料及混合裝置之殼體之沿輸送方向視之的下游末端上設有除氣裝置,其將負壓施加至熔體或混合物(在未產生熔體的情況下),以此將揮發性成分自熔體或混合物(在未產生熔體的情況下)提取出來。然而此方案有數個缺點,特別是就熱敏熔體或混合物而言。一方面,在除氣裝置之下游,即在殼體之最後區段中以及在連接元件中,不再能使用捏合元件,否則會將過多的能量輸入已經除氣 之熔體或混合物(在未產生熔體的情況下),這可能導致熔體之溫度上升,進而導致經除氣之熔體之熱損傷。出於此原因,在習知之採用此變體方案的混合及捏合機中,在殼體之處於除氣裝置下游的區段中,以及特別是在連接元件中不再設有捏合元件,這導致裝料及混合裝置之不再設有捏合元件的下游區域至少大體不參與混合物之成分混合以及混合物之均質化。確切言之,在此僅涉及純粹的輸送區段。此變體方案之另一缺點在於,為了進行除氣,在進入卸料裝置前,即在殼體之設有除氣裝置之區段中在連接元件上游,混合物便已需要以熔體或混合物(在未產生熔體的情況下)的形式存在,否則無法實現有效的除氣。這也導致混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置之位於除氣裝置下游的被蝸桿軸穿過的部分僅能用作純粹的輸送區段。此外,儘管缺少捏合元件,熔體仍在下游連接元件中經進一步剪切,這導致熔體溫度升高甚或熔體之熱損傷,特別是就諸如聚氯乙烯(PVC)的熱敏材料而言。除此之外,就此變體方案而言,由於在連接元件中缺少捏合元件,無法實現對蝸桿軸之葉片元件之所有側邊的完全清理。這導致葉片元件之側邊上以及葉片元件至軸桿之過渡處的沈積。這又導致在更換起始材料時,針對混合及捏合機的沖洗時間較長且廢料之量較大,因為缺少透過捏合銷實現的「自淨效應」。並非罕見地,需要將混合及捏合機之整個裝料及混合裝置打開並對其進行清潔,以避免廢料量,並且在無法成功應用沖洗的情況下才允許起始材料之更換。
在習知混合及捏合機的另一變體方案中,為了在裝料及混合裝置之連接元件與卸料裝置之間進行除氣,設有除氣拱頂,其中在自裝料及混合裝置排出後,混合物被自上方導入圓柱形塔,並在此塔中向下降落至卸料裝置之蝸輪。但此變體方案不太適用於或完全不適用於處理熔體。除此之外,卸料裝置之蝸輪必須具有非常大的尺寸,以將所有落入除氣拱頂的材料送出。這導致此變體方案之投資成本過高。
有鑒於此,本發明之目的在於提供一種適用於連續製備過程的混合及捏合機,該等連續製備過程特別是用於製備顆粒、擠壓型材或成型件,如聚合物顆粒、聚合物擠壓型材或聚合物成型件,該混合及捏合機在裝料及混合裝置之長度最小化的情況下實現混合物之成分之最佳混合及均質化,故該混合及捏合機之特徵在於在裝料及混合裝置之長度方面具備最佳的效率,以及,此外在更換***混合及捏合機之起始材料的情況下簡化該裝料及混合裝置之自淨。
本發明用以達成上述目的之解決方案為一種針對連續製備過程的混合及捏合機,該等連續製備過程特別是用於製備顆粒、擠壓型材或成型件,如聚合物顆粒、聚合物擠壓型材或聚合物成型件,該混合及捏合機包含裝料及混合裝置並且包含卸料裝置,其中該裝料及混合裝置包括殼體、蝸桿軸以及連接元件,其中該連接元件設置在該殼體之端面側上並且還與該卸料裝置連接,其中在殼體中以及在連接元件中皆建構有空心內腔,以及,該蝸桿軸至少局部沿軸向穿過殼體之內腔延伸以及至少局部沿軸向穿過連接元件之內腔延伸,其中在殼體中設有數個捏合元件,其自殼體之內周面伸入內腔,且其中該混合及捏合機之特徵在於,在該連接元件之內周面上亦設有捏合元件,其伸入連接元件之內腔,且該卸料裝置具有除氣裝置。
此種解決方案基於以下認識:透過將除氣裝置設置在卸料裝置上,而非設置在裝料及混合裝置之殼體之沿輸送方向視之下游的末端上,在進一步下游處必然才會形成熔體或者混合物(在未產生熔體的情況下),故捏合元件亦可設置在連接元件之內周面上,而不會造成在其中經處理之混合物之熱敏材料(如PVC)的熱損傷。因此,就本發明之混合及捏合機而言,不再在裝料及混合裝置中之快速旋轉及往復的蝸桿軸的區域內 發生除氣,而是在卸料裝置中,即在裝料及混合裝置之快速旋轉及往復的蝸桿軸的下游發生除氣。透過將捏合元件設置在連接元件之內周面上,裝料及混合裝置的該區域亦可用來對混合物之成分進行混合以及對混合物進行均質化,如此便能相應縮短裝料及混合裝置的長度,且仍能達到等同於相應較長之裝料及混合裝置的混合及均質度,此種相應較長之裝料及混合裝置中,連接元件不具有捏合元件。此舉除能大幅降低混合及捏合機之投資成本外,還能降低其運行成本,因為該裝料及混合裝置因其總長度較小而具有較小的磨損及占地。如前所述,就本發明之混合及捏合機而言,僅需對熔體或者混合物(在未產生熔體的情況下)進行處理即可,因此,在連接元件之沿輸送方向視之下游處才會形成熔體或者混合物(在未產生熔體的情況下)。此舉同樣有助於在混合及均質度保持不變的情況下顯著減小混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置的總長度。此外,本發明之混合及捏合機透過將捏合元件設置在連接元件中而能夠對蝸桿軸之葉片元件的所有側邊直至其下游末端進行完全清理。藉此便能可靠地避免葉片元件之側邊上、蝸桿軸之葉片元件至軸桿的過渡處以及連接元件中之沈積。從而大幅縮短更換起始材料時混合及捏合機的沖洗時間。本發明之首要任務在於提供一種適用於連續製備過程的混合及捏合機,該等連續製備過程特別是用於製備顆粒、擠壓型材或成型件,如聚合物顆粒、聚合物擠壓型材或聚合物成型件,該混合及捏合機在裝料及混合裝置之長度最小化的情況下實現混合物之起始材料之最佳混合及均質化,故該混合及捏合機之特徵在於在裝料及混合裝置之長度方面具備最佳的效率,以及,此外在更換***混合及捏合機之起始材料的情況下簡化該裝料及混合裝置之清潔工作。
根據本發明的一種尤佳實施方式,該卸料裝置為較佳反向的雙螺桿擠出機。在雙螺桿擠出機上,當兩個蝸輪旋轉時在其間形成腔室,卸料裝置中的混合物經由該等腔室被朝前輸送。其方式在於:雙螺桿擠出 機之蝸輪的螺棱以及軸桿如此以彼此對應的方式建構並且以卡入彼此的方式設置,使得在該二蝸輪之旋轉過程中,在該二蝸輪之螺棱及軸桿之間形成沿輸送方向遷移的腔室。藉此產生強制輸送,其允許該二蝸輪緩慢旋轉,但仍透過卸料裝置可靠地輸送混合物,使得僅有混合物之一部分反向於輸送方向小幅回流。基於該二蝸輪之緩慢旋轉,混合物在卸料裝置中,即在除氣區域內具有相對較大之停留時間以及較大之除氣表面,故能實現高效的除氣,而毋需將較高的剪力送入混合物。藉此可靠地避免混合物之熱損傷。在此情況下,移至卸料裝置中的除氣裝置與卸料裝置之實施為反向雙螺桿擠出機的較佳技術方案相互作用。雙螺桿擠出機的另一優點在於:該蝸桿軸上之混合物成分的沈積遠小於單軸擠出機,因為雙螺桿擠出機上的螺棱卡入彼此。
因而透過以下方式便可獲得極佳結果:該卸料裝置為反向的雙螺桿擠出機。其優點在於:在熔體或者混合物(在未產生熔體的情況下)略有升溫的同時,在2至3D蝸輪長度上(即在相當於蝸桿軸直徑兩至三倍的長度上)具備250至300bar的較高增壓特性。而同向雙螺桿擠出機快速旋轉,故其施加更大的剪切並形成遠小於反向雙螺桿擠出機的壓力。
該反向雙螺桿擠出機的蝸輪可彼此平行設置。
在本發明理念的改良方案中,沿軸向視之,該雙螺桿擠出機之該二蝸輪以0.1至10°、較佳0.5至7.5°、尤佳2至5°以及最佳2至3°的角度相互傾斜設置,其中該二蝸輪沿該輸送方向聚攏。在此種實施方式中,螺紋深度可在蝸輪長度上沿輸送方向遞減或者保持不變。在該雙螺桿擠出機之蝸輪的此種技術方案中,在卸料裝置工作過程中位於該二蝸輪之間的腔室沿輸送方向遞減或者該等腔室的容積變小。如此便能沿輸送方向進一步對在腔室中輸送的混合物進行壓縮,從而對殘留於混合物中的揮發化合物,特別是氣體、殘餘水分及單體,反向於輸送方向地進行擠壓,即壓向 除氣裝置。此舉大幅增強除氣效果,從而進一步提高移至卸料裝置中的除氣裝置與卸料裝置之實施為反向雙螺桿擠出機的技術方案的相互作用。
根據本發明的另一較佳實施方式,該卸料裝置的蝸輪呈錐形延伸,其中該等蝸輪沿該輸送方向逐漸變細。此點可增強前述實施方式的效果,在該實施方式中,雙螺桿擠出機的該二蝸輪沿軸向視之並非平行,而是以某個角度相互傾斜設置。
為實現占地較小且在機器總長度方面大幅縮短的混合及捏合機,在本發明理念的改良方案中,該卸料裝置的該二蝸輪(就其軸向上的縱向而言)在相對於該裝料及混合裝置之蝸桿軸於水平平面內以45°至135°,較佳以60°至120°,尤佳以80°至100°,尚佳以85°至95°,最佳以90°扭轉,使得在該連接元件中延伸之該蝸桿軸的端面側末端朝向該卸料裝置之蝸輪的外周面。如此,卸料裝置以與裝料及混合裝置成直角的方式設置。除能減小占地空間外,此種實施方式的另一優點在於,可由蝸桿軸將裝料及混合裝置中製成的混合物自連接元件之相對裝料及混合裝置之殼體的末端直接輸送至卸料裝置的該二蝸輪之間。如此便能有效地將混合物自裝料及混合裝置轉移至卸料裝置,從而確保不會有混合物成分沈積或黏在其他構件上。可將除氣裝置設置在卸料裝置的相對側上,如此便能在混合物進入卸料裝置後立即進行除氣。
如前所述,本發明在裝料及混合裝置之連接元件之內周面上亦設有捏合元件,其伸入連接元件之內腔並與設置在蝸桿軸之軸桿上的葉片元件一起不僅對透過蝸桿軸被輸送的混合物進行最佳混合及均質化,還防止混合物成分沈積或黏在葉片元件之側邊上以及(特別是)葉片元件之側邊至軸桿之外周面的過渡處。較佳地,該等捏合元件沿連接元件之軸向視之大幅伸入連接元件,從而儘可能利用連接元件的長度來對混合物進行最佳混合及均質化。根據另一較佳方案,該連接元件之內周面上的該等捏 合元件設置在沿該軸向在該連接元件之內周面之至少一區段的範圍延伸的至少兩個排中,以便將多葉片式蝸桿軸區段應用於連接元件中。較佳地,該連接元件中至少一排中之第一至最後一個捏合元件的距離占該連接元件之內周面的軸向長度的至少50%,較佳至少70%,尤佳至少80%,尚佳至少90%,最佳整個軸向長度。較佳地,該連接元件中所有排之第一至最後一個捏合元件的距離覆蓋該連接元件之內周面的軸向長度的至少50%,較佳至少70%,尤佳至少80%,尚佳至少90%,最佳整個軸向長度。
在本發明中,沿混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置之連接元件或殼體的軸向在連接元件或殼體之內周面之至少一區段的範圍延伸的捏合元件之排可理解為:在一排彼此沿軸向間隔一定距離的捏合元件的範圍延伸的連接線至少大體為直線,其中相對混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置之連接元件或殼體的內周面的橫截面圓周而言,該連接線與直線的最大偏差小於10°,較佳小於5°,進一步較佳小於2°。
根據本發明的另一較佳實施方式,該殼體之內周面上的該等捏合元件同樣設置在沿該軸向在該殼體之內周面之至少一區段的範圍延伸的至少兩個排中。在兩個區段中採用相同之蝸桿軸葉片幾何結構的情況下,該殼體之至少下游末端之內周面上的數個捏合元件之數個排可與位於該連接元件之內周面上的數個捏合元件之數個排對齊。但此點並非必要之舉,因為例如在殼體之下游末端中可使用三葉蝸桿軸區段且在連接元件中可使用四葉蝸桿軸區段,或者反過來。
通常情況下,本文中之混合及捏合機的裝料及混合裝置沿軸向分為不同的處理區段,其中每個處理區段中的蝸桿軸根據在工作過程中賦予該處理區段的任務而具備相應數目或幾何形狀的葉片元件,並且殼體壁內周面具備相應數目的捏合元件。例如在已知方案中,蝸桿軸局部採用三葉片,局部採用四葉片,與此相應地,混合及捏合機之殼體內壁的對應 區段配設有三排或四排捏合元件。根據處理區段在殼體之下游末端及裝料及混合裝置之連接元件之上游區域的範圍延伸,還是處理區段在殼體之下游末端上終止且下一處理區段在連接元件之上游區域上開始,該殼體之至少下游末端之內周面上的捏合元件之排與該連接元件之內周面上的捏合元件之排對齊或者不對齊。
較佳地,在該連接元件之內周面上設有沿該連接元件之內周面的軸向延伸之2至8個、進一步較佳2至6個、尤佳2、3、4或6個排的數個捏合元件。此外較佳地,在該殼體之內周面上設有沿該連接元件之內周面的軸向延伸之2至8個、進一步較佳2至6個、尤佳2、3、4或6個排的數個捏合元件。並非該殼體的所有區段皆需在殼體之軸向長度上視之具有相同數目的排。確切言之,該殼體的各區段亦可具有不同數目的捏合元件,但其中較佳地,所有區段皆具2至8個、進一步較佳2至6個、尤佳2、3、4或6個排的數個捏合元件。
為在連接元件之區域內對混合物進行有效混合及均質化,以及將混合物自裝料及混合裝置有效轉移至卸料裝置,在本發明理念的改良方案中,在軸向方向上看,該蝸桿軸於該殼體的端面側、即該連接元件位於該殼體上之位置之延伸,是占該連接元件的整個軸向長度上之50%,較佳超過至少70%,尤佳超過至少80%,尚佳超過至少90%,且最佳占該連接元件的整個軸向長度上。
如前所述,根據本發明,並非在混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置之殼體的下游末端中進行除氣,而是在卸料裝置中方進行除氣。因而在本發明中,卸料裝置具有除氣裝置。故根據本發明之較佳方案,該連接元件以及至少該殼體之鄰接該連接元件的區域不具有除氣裝置,該區域在該殼體之軸向長度的至少20%範圍,較佳至少40%範圍,尤佳至少60%範圍,最佳整個軸向長度範圍延伸。採用上述方案後,亦可視具體應用而在 殼體之下游區域內設有額外的除氣裝置,但此點並非較佳方案。
因此,根據最佳方案,整個裝料及混合裝置不具有除氣裝置。
如前所述,本發明之混合及捏合機尤其適用於製備顆粒、擠壓型材或成型件,如聚合物顆粒、聚合物擠壓型材或聚合物成型件。因而較佳地,該混合及捏合機中在卸料裝置之卸料末端上,即在卸料裝置之沿輸送方向的下游末端上設有一裝置,該裝置是選自由以下構成之群組:造粒裝置、過濾器、切割裝置、線材模、成型模具、滾壓模及上述之組合。如此便能將在裝料及混合裝置中製備並透過卸料裝置運出的均勻混合物,特別是均勻的聚合物熔體,加工成聚合物顆粒、聚合物擠壓型材或聚合物成型件。
較佳地,在卸料裝置之卸料末端上作為造粒裝置而設有空氣/水造粒裝置、水下造粒裝置或線材造粒裝置。該空氣/水造粒裝置例如可由帶經加熱之造粒孔板的模體、造粒刀及刀片驅動裝置以及帶空氣接頭、空氣/水-霧接頭或水接頭的顆粒收集殼體構成。此種造粒裝置尤其適用於PVC、彈性體及其他高黏熔體或充填度較高的聚合物調配物。替代地,在卸料裝置之卸料末端上作為造粒裝置而設有水下造粒裝置,其包括噴嘴板及鄰接該噴嘴板的水浴。水下造粒裝置尤其適用於黏附性及/或低黏的熔體。替代地,在卸料裝置之卸料末端上作為造粒裝置而設有線材造粒裝置,其例如包括線材模、水浴以及帶進料輥及刀輥的擠出造粒機。線材造粒裝置尤其適用於低黏熔體。
替代地,在卸料裝置之卸料末端上亦可設有間歇式切割裝置、線材模、滾壓模、成型模具或類似裝置。
在除氣裝置的技術方案方面本發明不受任何限制。有鑒於此,可使用可連接混合及捏合機之卸料裝置的所有除氣裝置。該除氣裝置較佳具有用於產生負壓的單元。替代地,該除氣裝置亦可與用於產生負壓 的單元連接。
例如在較佳方案中,該卸料裝置之除氣裝置包括位於卸料殼體中的開口、除氣拱頂、連接除氣拱頂的真空單元、連接除氣拱頂的分離器、可選之過剩空氣閥、可選之一或數個視鏡及可選之針對負壓的顯示器。分離器及真空單元皆可兩次或多次設置。較佳將真空泵用作真空單元。尤其適合用作真空泵的例如為乾式轉子(如羅茨壓縮機、側通道壓縮機、爪式泵等諸如此類)。在需要抽吸較大量的氣體及/或液體的情況下以及/或者設定低於50mbar之相對較低最終壓力的情況下,較佳使用兩個或更多串行的真空泵。
該除氣裝置可建構為連續式系統或循環系統。該連續式系統例如可包括帶連接軟管的除氣拱頂、分離器、真空泵及淡水供應裝置,其中該淡水供應裝置可由水接頭、流量監視器、2/2電磁閥及用於調節水量的節流閥組成。作為帶開式循環之系統的循環系統例如可包括帶連接軟管的除氣拱頂、分離器、真空泵及具有熱交換器的容器。該真空泵自容器抽吸水,並將水以及可能的自混合物提取的成分送回容器。透過熱交換器對容器中之水進行冷卻。對容器中之水位進行監控,並視情況而定對容器進行後續注水。為了避免對容器的過分充填,設有無壓溢流部。
在本發明理念的改良方案中,該除氣裝置是設計為,使其在該卸料裝置中可設定並維持小於800mbar,進一步較佳小於600mbar,尤佳為50至500mbar,最佳為200至400mbar的絕對壓力。
本發明亦有關於一種製備顆粒、擠壓型材或成型件,如聚合物顆粒、聚合物擠壓型材或聚合物成型件的方法,該方法在前述之混合及捏合機中實施。

下面結合圖式對本發明進行詳細說明,其中: 圖1為本發明之混合及捏合機的示意性俯視圖, 圖2為如圖1所示之混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置之***有蝸桿軸的殼體的透視圖, 圖3為如圖1所示之混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置以及卸料裝置之下游部件之局部的示意性橫截面圖, 圖4為如圖1所示之混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置以及卸料裝置之下游部件之透視及局部剖視圖, 圖5為該除氣裝置之建構為連續式系統並且包括真空泵及分離器的區段的示意圖, 圖6為該除氣裝置之建構為循環系統並且包括真空泵及分離器的區段的示意圖,以及 圖7為根據先前技術之混合及捏合機之裝料及混合裝置以及卸料裝置之下游部件之局部的示意性橫截面圖。
如圖1以示意性俯視圖示出的本發明的混合及捏合機10包括裝料及混合裝置12、卸料裝置14以及水下造粒裝置16。裝料及混合裝置12包括殼體18,在其頂側上設有頂部給料器20以及進料斗20',用以將待混合及捏合之起始材料輸入。圖2以透視圖詳細示出處於展開狀態下的裝料及混合裝置12,以及,圖3及圖4以橫截面圖示出裝料及混合裝置12之沿輸送方向視之的下游末端。在殼體18之下游末端上設有驅動塊22,其包括馬達以及傳動裝置。此外,殼體18包括藉由法蘭連接在殼體端面側之下游末端上的連接元件24。根據本發明,在卸料裝置14上,並且在卸料裝置14之與連接元件24相對的一側上設有除氣裝置26。此外,卸料裝置14亦包括驅動塊22'。
如圖2至圖4詳細示出的那般,殼體18包括兩個半殼28、 28',其內部襯有所謂之殼層30,其由數個軸向間隔一定距離的殼層部件32、32'、32"組成。其中,在本申請案中將殼層30視作殼體18之組成部分。當兩個半殼28、28'閉合時,殼體18之內周面界定一圓柱形的空心內腔,在該內腔中設有蝸桿軸34。蝸桿軸34包括軸桿36,在其周面上設有若干葉片元件38。在該二半殼28、28'之內周面中設有若干捏合元件40,其建構為捏合銷40。此等捏合元件中之每一個皆以以下方式設置:用於固定在各一設於殼體18之壁部中之孔中,該孔自殼層30之內周面穿過殼體18之壁部延伸。每個容置口42之下部徑向內端可以採用橫截面呈四邊形的技術方案,其中每個捏合銷40在其下端具有與容置口42之呈四邊形的徑向內端精確匹配的末端,並藉此在***狀態下以抗扭的方式固定在容置口42中。捏合銷40在其位於容置口42中之末端上透過螺接與在容置口42之上方末端中***的固定元件連接。特別是如圖2所示,在該二半殼28、28'中之每一個中,沿軸向視之,相互間隔相同距離的捏合銷40皆以三排44、44'、44"的形式延伸。殼體18較佳可藉由一或數個熱力設備進行調溫,或可藉由電氣加熱管或安設於殼體外部之加熱板進行加熱,並且係經水冷或風冷,視情況而定亦經另一流體冷卻,例如經油或另一液體或特殊的氣體冷卻。
如圖2所示,該混合及捏合機係沿軸向劃分成數個處理區段46、46'、46",其中每個處理區段46、46'、46"就捏合銷40之數目以及葉片元件38在軸桿34上之延伸而言與各處理區段46、46'、46"之功能匹配。如圖2所示,在上半殼28之左區段46與右區段46"中,針對捏合銷40之容置口42的三排44、44'、44"中的兩排,即上排44與下排44"配備有捏合銷40,而中排44'則未配備捏合銷40。不同於此,在上半殼28之中間區段46'中,針對捏合銷40之容置口42的三排44、44'、44"中的一排,即中間排44'配備有捏合銷40,而上排44及下排44"則未配備捏合銷40。
圖7示出先前技術中的混合及捏合機,如該圖所示,在此類 混合及捏合機中在殼體18之下游末端上設有除氣裝置26,以便在移入卸料裝置14前對在裝料及混合裝置12中製備之混合物或熔體進行除氣,從而將包含在混合物或熔體中之氣體及其他易揮發成分,如殘餘水分及單體自混合物或熔體移除。由於設於該處的除氣裝置26,在此混合及捏合機之連接元件24中不再設有捏合元件40,否則會將過多能量導入已經除氣之熔體,這可能導致熔體之溫度上升,進而導致經除氣之熔體之熱損傷。這導致裝料及混合裝置12之不再設有捏合元件40的下游區域至少大體不參與混合物之成分混合以及混合物之均質化。此變體方案之另一缺點在於,為了進行除氣,在進入卸料裝置前,即在殼體18之設有除氣裝置26之區段中在連接元件24上游,混合物便已需要以熔體的形式存在,否則無法實現有效的除氣。這也導致裝料及混合裝置12之位於除氣裝置26下游的被蝸桿軸34穿過的部分僅能用作純粹的輸送區段。除此之外,就此變體方案而言,由於在連接元件24中缺少捏合元件40,無法實現對蝸桿軸34之葉片元件38之所有側邊的完全清理。這導致葉片元件38之側邊上以及葉片元件38至軸桿36之過渡處的沈積。這又導致在更換起始材料時,針對混合及捏合機的沖洗時間較長且廢料之量較大。
為了克服此等缺點,根據本發明,如圖1、3及4所示,除氣裝置26設置在卸料裝置14上,以及,此外在連接元件24之內周面上亦設有捏合元件40,其伸入連接元件24之內腔。因此,就本發明之混合及捏合機而言,不再在裝料及混合裝置12中之快速旋轉及往復的蝸桿軸34的區域內發生除氣,而是在卸料裝置14中,即在裝料及混合裝置12之快速旋轉及往復的蝸桿軸34的下游發生除氣。透過將除氣裝置26設置在卸料裝置14上,而非設置在裝料及混合裝置12之殼體18之下游末端上,在進一步下游處必然才會形成熔體,故捏合元件40亦可設置在連接元件24之內周面上,而不會造成在其中經處理之混合物之熱敏材料(如PVC)的熱 損傷。如此便能相應地縮短裝料及混合裝置12之長度,從而顯著降低混合及捏合機10之投資成本及運行成本。此外,除其他優點以外,藉此可靠地避免葉片元件38之側邊上、蝸桿軸34之葉片元件38至軸桿36的過渡處以及連接元件24中之沈積。
如圖3及圖4所示,卸料裝置14為反向的雙螺桿擠出機,即具有兩個沿縱向延伸並卡入彼此的蝸輪48、48'的雙螺桿擠出機,該等蝸輪在卸料裝置14之工作過程中彼此反向旋轉。蝸輪48、48'具有螺棱50、50'以及軸桿52、52',其中蝸輪48、48'如此以彼此對應的方式建構並且以卡入彼此的方式設置,使得在該二蝸輪之旋轉過程中,在兩個蝸輪48、48'之螺棱50、50'及軸桿52、52'之間形成沿輸送方向遷移的腔室。藉此產生強制輸送,其允許該二蝸輪48、48'緩慢旋轉,但仍透過卸料裝置可靠地輸送混合物,使得混合物之一部分反向於輸送方向小幅回流。基於該二蝸輪之緩慢旋轉,混合物在卸料裝置14中,即在除氣區域內具有相對較大之停留時間以及較大之除氣表面,故能實現高效的除氣,而毋需將較高的剪力送入混合物。藉此可靠地避免混合物之熱損傷。
如圖4所示,沿軸向視之,該雙螺桿擠出機之兩個蝸輪48、48'並不平行,而是以0.1至20°、較佳0.5至10°以及尤佳2至5°的角度相互傾斜設置,其中該二蝸輪48、48'沿輸送方向聚攏。
同樣如圖3及圖4所示,卸料裝置14之除氣裝置26包括除氣拱頂54,其透過開口(未繪示)與卸料裝置14之殼體56連接。在除氣拱頂54上,透過軟管58設有裝置60,其包括真空泵及分離器。此外,除氣拱頂54包括視鏡62、針對負壓的顯示器64以及過剩空氣閥66。透過設於裝置60中之真空泵,在除氣拱頂54中調節所需的負壓,而透過設於裝置60中之分離器將殘餘氣體或殘液自除氣拱頂54排出及分離。其中,裝置60可如圖5所示建構為連續式系統,或如圖6所示建構為循環系統。
根據本發明之一實施例,如圖5所示之建構為連續式系統的裝置60包括充當真空泵68的水環泵以及分離器70,其透過軟管管道72相連。為了供應淡水,此實施方式之裝置60還包括水接頭74、流量監視器76、2/2電磁閥78以及用於調節水量的節流閥80。
根據本發明之另一實施例,如圖6所示之建構為循環系統的裝置60包括充當真空泵68的水環泵以及分離器70。此外,此實施方式之裝置60包括具有熱交換器的容器81、用於淡水供應的水接頭74、集污器82、調節閥84、2/2關斷閥86、排空閥88、溢流部90、止回閥92以及溫度控制器94。真空泵68自容器81抽吸水,並將水以及可能的自混合物提取的成分送回容器81。透過該熱交換器對容器81中之水進行冷卻。對容器81中之水位進行監控,並視情況而定對容器進行後續注水。為了避免對容器81的過分充填,設有無壓溢流部90。

Claims (15)

  1. 一種針對連續製備過程的混合及捏合機(10),例如用於製備顆粒、擠壓型材或成型件,如聚合物顆粒、聚合物擠壓型材或聚合物成型件,該混合及捏合機包含裝料及混合裝置(12)並且包含一卸料裝置(14),其中該裝料及混合裝置(12)包括一殼體(18)、一蝸桿軸(34)以及一連接元件(24),其中該連接元件(24)設置在該殼體(18)之端面側上並且還與該卸料裝置(14)連接,其中在該殼體(18)中以及在該連接元件(24)中皆形成有一空心內腔,以及,該蝸桿軸(34)至少局部沿軸向穿過該殼體(18)之內腔延伸以及至少局部沿軸向穿過該連接元件(24)之內腔延伸,且其中在該殼體(18)中設有數個捏合元件(40),其自該殼體(18)之內周面延伸入該內腔,其特徵在於,在該連接元件(24)之內周面上亦設有數個捏合元件(40)且該等捏合元件(40)延伸入該連接元件(24)之內腔,且該卸料裝置(14)具有一除氣裝置(26)。
  2. 如請求項1所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,該卸料裝置(14)為雙螺桿擠出機。
  3. 如請求項2所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,該卸料裝置(14)為反向旋轉的雙螺桿擠出機。
  4. 如請求項2或3所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,該雙螺桿擠出機之該二蝸輪沿軸向視之並不平行,而是以0.1至20°、較佳0.5至10°以及尤佳2至5°的角度相互傾斜設置,其中較佳地,該二蝸輪48、48’沿該輸送方向聚攏。
  5. 如請求項2至4中任一項所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,該卸料裝置(14)的該等蝸輪錐形地延伸,其中該等蝸輪沿該輸送方向 逐漸變細。
  6. 如請求項2至5中任一項所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,該卸料裝置(14)的該等蝸輪在相對於該裝料及混合裝置之蝸桿軸於水平平面內以45°至135°,較佳以60°至120°,尤佳以80°至100°,尚佳以85°至95°,最佳以90°扭轉,使得在該連接元件(24)中延伸之該蝸桿軸(34)的端面側末端朝向該卸料裝置(14)之蝸輪的外周面。
  7. 如前述請求項中任一項所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,該連接元件(24)之內周面上的該等捏合元件(40)設置在沿該軸向在該連接元件(24)之內周面之至少一區段的範圍延伸的至少兩個排(44,44',44")中,其中至少一排中之第一至最後一個捏合元件(40)的距離占該連接元件(24)之內周面的軸向長度的至少50%,較佳至少70%,尤佳至少80%,尚佳至少90%,最佳整個軸向長度。
  8. 如請求項7所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,該殼體(18)之內周面上的該等捏合元件(40)同樣設置在沿該軸向在該殼體(18)之內周面之至少一區段的範圍延伸的至少兩個排(44,44',44")中,其中較佳地,該殼體(18)之至少下游末端之內周面上的數個捏合元件(40)之數個排(44,44',44")與位於該連接元件(24)之內周面上的數個捏合元件(40)之數個排(44,44',44")對齊,其中較佳地,在該連接元件(24)之內周面上設有沿該連接元件(24)之內周面的軸向延伸之2至8個、較佳2至6個、尤佳2、3、4或6個排(44,44',44")的數個捏合元件(40)。
  9. 如前述請求項中任一項所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,在軸向方向上看,該蝸桿軸(34)於該殼體(18)的端面側、即該連接元件(24)位於該殼體(18)上之位置之延伸,是占該連接元件(24)的整個軸向長度上之至少50%,較佳超過至少70%,尤佳超過至少 80%,尚佳超過至少90%,且最佳占該連接元件(24)的整個軸向長度上。
  10. 如前述請求項中任一項所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,該連接元件(24)以及至少該殼體(18)之鄰接該連接元件(24)的區域不具有除氣裝置,該區域在該殼體(18)之軸向長度的至少20%範圍,較佳至少40%範圍,尤佳至少60%範圍,最佳整個軸向長度範圍延伸。
  11. 如請求項10所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,整個裝料及混合裝置(12)不具有除氣裝置。
  12. 如前述請求項中任一項所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,在該卸料裝置(14)之卸料末端上設有一裝置,該裝置是選自由以下構成之群組:造粒裝置、過濾器、切割裝置、線材模、成型模具、滾壓模及上述之組合,其中較佳地,該造粒裝置(16)為空氣/水造粒裝置、水下造粒裝置或線材造粒裝置。
  13. 如前述請求項中任一項所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,該除氣裝置(26)具有用於產生負壓的單元或者與用於產生負壓的單元連接。
  14. 如前述請求項中任一項所述之混合及捏合機(10),其特徵在於,該除氣裝置(26)是設計為,使其在該卸料裝置(14)中可設定並維持小於800mbar,較佳小於600mbar,尤佳為50至500mbar,最佳為200至400mbar的絕對壓力。
  15. 一種製備顆粒、擠壓型材或成型件,如聚合物顆粒、聚合物擠壓型材或聚合物成型件的方法,該方法在如前述請求項中任一項所述之混合及捏合機中實施。
