Description

Peeling method

The present invention relates to a peeling method for peeling a polarizing plate from a laminate.

Conventionally, a panel applied to an image display unit of an image display device called a liquid crystal display panel or an organic EL display panel uses a substrate including a hard glass plate or the like and a polarized film adhered to at least one side of the substrate. Plate (polarizing film). In the circulation stage, the panel is in a state of being laminated with the laminate and the surface protective film which is peelably adhered to the polarizing plate.

Such a laminate is produced by, for example, adhering a polarizing plate through an adhesive to a substrate, and the surface protective film is adhered to the polarizing plate by an adhesive having a smaller adhesive force than the adhesive, and is inspected after manufacture. In this inspection, sometimes the adhered polarizing plate is found to be dirty or damaged, and air or foreign matter is mixed between the polarizing plate and the substrate. When the problem is found in this way, the polarizing plate is peeled off from the laminated body together with the surface protective film, and the substrate obtained by the peeling is reused to produce another laminated body. Such stripping of the polarizing plate is generally referred to as rewok.

However, when the polarizing plate is peeled off from the laminated body as described above, sometimes the polarizing plate is broken (broken) at the time of peeling, and a part thereof remains on the substrate.

Therefore, a method of suppressing breakage of a film and peeling the film from the laminate is proposed. For example, a method is proposed in which a film is peeled off from a laminate including a substrate and a film which is adhered to the substrate and is easily broken, and the adhesive sheet is attached to the entire surface of the film which is easily broken, and the film is attached thereto. The film is peeled off together with the adhesive sheet (see Patent Document 1). Advanced technical literature

Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 2014-88256

In the laminated body in which the polarizing plate and the surface protective film are peeled off together with the surface protective film, the peeling method described in Patent Document 1 is applied. The sheet adheres to the entire surface of the surface protective film, and the polarizing plate is peeled off together with the adhesive sheet and the surface protective film. However, even if the adhesive sheet adheres to the entire surface of the surface protective film as described above, sometimes the polarizing plate may be broken when the polarizing plate is peeled off. When the polarizing plate is broken like this and a part of the crack remains on the substrate, the remaining polarizing plate must be separately peeled off, so that the work of peeling off the polarizing plate becomes difficult.

In view of the above circumstances, an object of the present invention is to provide a peeling method capable of suppressing cracking of a polarizing plate and easily peeling the polarizing plate together with a surface protective film from a substrate.

Means for Solving the Problems The present inventors have earnestly studied and obtained the following findings. As is generally known, in a liquid crystal display panel or the like, a polarizing plate adhered to a substrate is not intended to be peeled off. That is, the polarizing plate is adhered to the substrate with a relatively strong adhesive force as compared with the case where a film is adhered to other members on the premise that the film is to be peeled off. On the other hand, the surface protective film adhered to the polarizing plate is intended to be peeled off. That is, the surface protective film is adhered to the polarizing plate with an adhesive force much smaller than the adhesion of the polarizing plate to the substrate. Fig. 19 is a view showing a state in which the polarizing plate 33 and the surface protective film 37 are grasped and pulled up to peel the both together from the laminated body 30 (in Fig. 19, the reverse arrow symbol indicates the direction in which the drawing is pulled). As described above, since the adhesion between the surface protective film 37 and the polarizing plate 33 is much smaller than the adhesion between the polarizing plate 33 and the substrate 31, the peeling of the surface protective film 37 from the polarizing plate 33 is performed by the polarizing plate 33. The stripping from the substrate 31 is fast. As a result, as shown in FIG. 19, the inventors have found that the surface protective film 37 is peeled off from the portion of the polarizing plate 33 that has not been peeled off, that is, the surface protective film 37 is detached from the polarizing plate 33. Moreover, the present inventors have found that when such detachment occurs, the polarizing plate is easily broken at the detached portion. Further, when the rectangular polarizing plate is peeled off together with the surface protective film, it is usually peeled off from one corner toward the diagonal direction. Therefore, the inventors of the present invention tried to partially peel off the surface protective film to adhere the adhesive tape to the polarizing plate along the two end edges (two sides) constituting the peeling starting point, and to cover the adhesive film with the surface protective film. Adhere to the tape and pull the polarizer together with the surface protection film and adhesive tape. As a result, the inventors of the present invention have found that the detachment of the surface protective film to the polarizing plate can be suppressed by the test, whereby the crack of the polarizing plate can be suppressed, and the polarizing plate can be peeled off together with the surface protective film. Further, by the above-described method, the inventors have not completed the peeling of the surface protective film to expose the polarizing plate to attach the adhesive sheet to the entire surface of the exposed polarizing plate, so that the peeling operation is simpler, and the inventors have completed the present invention. invention.

That is, in the peeling method of the present invention, the polarizing plate is peeled off from a rectangular laminated body having a substrate and a polarizing plate adhered to one surface of the substrate, and the laminated body further has a surface protective film which is peelably adhered to a surface of the polarizing plate opposite to the substrate; the surface protective film is partially peeled off to adhere the adhesive tape to the outer surface of the polarizing plate, and the adhesive tape is along the four edges of the polarizing plate The adhesive tape is adhered to the outer surface of the polarizing plate at least to form the two end edges of the corner portion, and the surface protective film is coated and adhered to the adhesive tape, and the polarized light is used as the peeling starting point to polarize the light. The plate is peeled off together with the aforementioned surface protective film and the aforementioned adhesive tape.

Further, in the peeling method of the above configuration, it is preferable that the adhesive tape is adhered to the outer surface of the polarizing plate in such a manner that the adhesive tape of the polarizing plate is along the end edges of the adhesive and the respective edge portions corresponding to the respective edges The outer edge of the adhesive tape is flush with the edge of the adhesive tape; or the adhesive tape of the foregoing polarizing plate is along the edge of the adhesive, so that the outer edge of the adhesive tape corresponding to each edge is smaller than the thickness of the polarizing plate. The length protrudes outward from the respective end edges.

Further, in the peeling method of the above configuration, it is preferable that the adhesive tape is adhered to the outer surface of the polarizing plate along the four end edges of the polarizing plate.

Further, in the peeling method of the above configuration, it is preferable that the adhesive sheet is adhered to the outer surface of the surface protective film opposite to the polarizing plate so as to overlap the surface protective film and the adhesive tape, and The polarizing plate is peeled off together with the surface protective film, the adhesive tape, and the adhesive sheet.

Hereinafter, a peeling method according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

First, a laminate in which the polarizing plate is peeled off by the peeling method of the present embodiment will be described. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the laminated body 30 has a rectangular substrate 31, a rectangular polarizing plate 33 adhered to one surface 31a of the substrate 31, and a surface protective film 37 which is releasably adhered thereto. The polarizing plate 33 is on the opposite surface 33a from the substrate 31. The substrate 31 is formed larger than the polarizing plate 33 and the surface protective film 37, and the polarizing plate 33 and the surface protective film 37 are formed to have the same size.

The substrate 31 can be, for example, hard glass or the like.

35a、35b、35c、35d。The polarizing plate 33 is adhered to the upper surface 31a of the substrate 31 by a first adhesive (not shown). The polarizing plate 33 has four end edges 34a, 34b, 34c, and 34d, and the intersections of the end edges constitute four corner portions 35a, 35b, 35c, and 35d.

Further, as shown in FIG. 3, in the present embodiment, specifically, the polarizing plate 33 includes a polarizer 41, and two adhesive layers 43 each having a second adhesive formed on both surfaces of the polarizer 41; Two protective films 45 laminated on the two adhesive layers 43 are laminated. In the present embodiment, the polarizing plate 33 has the polarizer 41 and the two protective films 45 laminated on both surfaces. However, in addition to the polarizing plate 33, the polarizing plate 33 may be used in the present invention. The aspect has the polarizer 41 and the protective film 45 laminated only on one side.

The thickness of the polarizing plate 33 is not particularly limited and can be appropriately set. However, for example, the smaller the thickness of the polarizing plate 33, the lower the strength tends to be broken, and the larger the thickness, the more the strength tends to increase and the crack tends to be less likely to be broken. Therefore, for example, when the thickness of the polarizing plate 33 is 200 μm or less, preferably 90 μm or less, and more preferably 50 μm or less, the peeling method of the present embodiment is preferably applied. The reason for this is that the peeling method of the present embodiment is more useful because the polarizing plate 33 is hard to be broken at the time of peeling even when the thickness is small, because the polarizing plate 33 is reinforced.

33。Moreover, the material of the polarizing plate 33 is not particularly limited. However, as will be described later, the peeling method of the present embodiment is preferably applied to the polarizing plate 33, and particularly to the polarizing plate 33 having the protective film 45 which is easily broken.

The polarizer 41 can be formed by dyeing or stretching a polyvinyl alcohol film. The thickness of the polarizer 41 is usually about 2 to 30 μm.

The first and second adhesives are known as known adhesives.

The protective film 45 may be a cellulose resin such as cellulose triacetate, a polyester resin, a polyether oxime resin, a polyfluorene resin, a polycarbonate resin, a polyamide resin, a polyimide resin, or a polyolefin resin. a acrylate resin, a cyclic polyolefin resin (formary borneol resin), a polyarylate resin, a polystyrene resin, a polyvinyl alcohol resin, and one or more selected from the group consisting of such a mixture or the like The film formed.

The thickness of the protective film 45 as described above is usually about 20 to 60 μm.

In the laminated body 30 used in the peeling method of the present embodiment, as described above, the polarizing plate 33 is adhered to the upper surface 31a of the substrate 31 by the first adhesive. The adhesion force of the polarizing plate 33 to the substrate 31 (that is, the adhesion force of the first adhesive) is usually 5 to 15 N/25 mm. If it is the aforementioned adhesion force, the polarizing plate 33 can adhere to the substrate 31 relatively firmly. Further, even when the polarizing plate 33 thus strongly adhered is peeled off, the crack of the polarizing plate 33 can be suppressed. Therefore, the peeling method of this embodiment is suitable for the laminated body 30 which has the adhesive force of the said range. The adhesion was measured by using an autostereograph (precision universal testing machine, manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation), when the polarizing plate 33 was peeled off from the substrate 31 at a tensile speed of 300 mm/min toward the 90° direction.

The surface protective film 37 is peelably adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33, that is, the outer surface of the protective film 45, by a third adhesive (not shown) having a weak adhesion force to the first adhesive. The surface protection film 37 respectively corresponds to (overlaps) the four end edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33, and has four end edges 38a, 38b, 38c, 38d, and the intersections of the end edges constitute the corner portions 39a, 39b, 39c, 39d. In the present embodiment, the adhesion of the surface protective film 37 to the polarizing plate 33 (that is, the adhesion of the third adhesive) is usually 0.3 to 2.0 N/25 mm. In the case of the aforementioned adhesive force, the surface protective film 37 is peelably adhered to the polarizing plate 33. The adhesion force was measured by using an autostereoscopic measuring instrument (precision universal testing machine, manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation) when the surface protective film 37 was peeled off from the polarizing plate 33 at a stretching speed of 300 mm/min toward the 90° direction.

The peeling method of the present embodiment is a method of peeling the polarizing plate 33 from the rectangular laminated body 30. The laminated body 30 has a substrate 31 and a polarizing plate 33 adhered to one surface (upper surface) 31a of the substrate 31. The laminated body 30 further has a surface protective film 37 which is releasably adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 opposite to the substrate 31, and partially peels off the surface protective film 37 to bond the adhesive tape 51. Adhering to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33, the adhesive tape 51 forms at least two end edges 34a, 34b of one corner portion 35a along the four end edges 34a, 34b, 34c, 34d of the polarizing plate 33. The adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33, and the surface protective film 37 is adhered and adhered to the adhesive tape 51. The polarizing plate 33 is formed by using the corner portion 35 as a peeling starting point P. The surface protection film 37 and the adhesive tape 51 are peeled off together. Further, in the present embodiment, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered in such a manner that the adhesive tape 51 of the polarizing plate 33 is adhered to the end edge of the adhesive tape 51 and the adhesive tape 51 corresponding to each edge. The outer end edge of the adhesive tape 51 is flush with the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51, and the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 corresponding to each of the end edges 34a to 34d is taken along the edge of the adhesive edge 34a to 34d. The edge protrudes outward from the respective end edges by a length smaller than the thickness of the polarizing plate 33. More specifically, in the present embodiment, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the polarizing plate 33 along the four end edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33. Further, in the present embodiment, the adhesive sheet 53 is adhered to the surface protective film 37 and the polarizing plate 33 so as to overlap the surface protective film 37 and the adhesive tape 51. The outer surface 37a on the opposite side is peeled off together with the surface protective film 37, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53 described above.

In the peeling method of the present embodiment, the polarizing plate 33 is peeled off from the substrate 31 by using the corner portion 35a of the polarizing plate 33 as the peeling starting point P.

In the present embodiment, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 so as to extend along the respective end edges 34a, 34b, 34c, and 34d of the polarizing plate 33. Further, as the adhesive tape 51, a tape having an adhesive (first adhesive, not shown) on both sides may be used, and specifically, a double-sided tape is used. In this case, the adhesive on one surface side of the adhesive tape 51 is exposed, and a release liner (not shown) is attached to the adhesive on the other surface side.

The adhesive force of the adhesive tape 51, that is, the adhesion force of the double-sided tape (adhesion force of the first adhesive) is greater than the adhesion of the surface protective film 37 to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 (adhesion of the third adhesive) )Big. The adhesive force of the adhesive tape 51 is preferably 10.0 N/25 mm or more, more preferably 15.0 N/25 mm or more. By the adhesion force being 10.0 N/25 mm or more, the adhesive tape 51 can be prevented from being detached from the polarizing plate 33 while the polarizing plate 33 is peeled off from the substrate 31, so that the polarizing plate 33 can be more reliably prevented from being broken. The polarizing plate 33 is peeled off from the substrate 31 together with the surface protective film 37. In addition, the adhesion force is measured by peeling off the surface protective film 37 from the polarizing plate 33 at a stretching speed of 300 mm/min toward the 90° direction by an autostereoscopic measuring instrument (precision universal testing machine, manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation). Hey.

In the peeling method of the present embodiment, the surface protective film 37 is partially peeled off at each of the end edges 34a to 34d, and the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 exposed by peeling, and the adhesive tape is adhered. The release liner of 51 is peeled off, and the surface protective film 37 is coated on the exposed adhesive tape 51. Specifically, first, as shown in FIG. 4, the edge 38a side of the surface protective film 37 is partially peeled off so that the adhesive tape 51 adheres along the edge 34a of the polarizing plate 33. In the region of the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 exposed by the peeling, as shown in Fig. 5, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered along the end edge 34a. After the adhesion, the release liner (not shown) attached to the adhesive tape 51 is peeled off. After the peeling, as shown in FIG. 6, the partially peeled surface protective film 37 is adhered to the adhesive (not shown) of the exposed adhesive tape 51. Further, here, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the end edge 34a side of the polarizing plate 33 in such a manner that an unadhered region for peeling is provided on the side edges 34b and 34d of the polarizing plate 33 (the adhesive tape 51 is not adhered thereto). In the region, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the side edges 34b and 34d side by partially peeling off the surface protective film 37 on the side of the end edges 34b and 34d.

51。Next, as shown in Fig. 7, the end edge 38b side of the surface protective film 37 is partially peeled off so that the adhesive tape 51 adheres along the edge 34b of the polarizing plate 33. As shown in Fig. 8, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the region of the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 exposed by the peeling along the end edge 34b. After the adhesion, the release liner (not shown) attached to the adhesive tape 51 is peeled off. After the peeling, as shown in FIG. 9, the partially peeled surface protective film 37 is adhered to the adhesive (not shown) of the exposed adhesive tape 51. In this case, the peeling non-adhesion region formed by adhering the adhesive film 51 to the end edge 34a side of the polarizing plate 33 is embedded, and the non-adhering region for peeling is provided to partially peel off the polarizing plate 33. The surface protective film 37 on the side of the end edge 34c adheres the adhesive tape 51 to the side of the edge 34b of the polarizing plate 33 so that the adhesive tape 51 adheres to the edge 34c side.

51。Similarly to the same, the edge 38c side of the surface protective film 37 is partially peeled off so that the adhesive tape 51 adheres along the edge 34c of the polarizing plate 33, and the adhesive tape 51 is adhered along the edge 34c by the peeling. The area of the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 is exposed. After the adhesion, the release liner attached to the adhesive tape 51 is peeled off, and the partially peeled surface protection film 37 is adhered to the adhesive of the exposed adhesive tape 51. In this case, the peeling non-adhering region formed by adhering the adhesive film 51 to the end edge 34b side of the polarizing plate 33 is embedded, and the surface on the edge 34d side of the polarizing plate 33 can be partially peeled off. The protective film 37 adheres the adhesive tape 51 to the end edge 34c side of the polarizing plate 33 so that the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the end portion 34d side. Further, in order to adhere the adhesive tape 51 along the end edge 34d, the edge 38d side of the surface protective film 37 is partially peeled off, and the adhesive tape 51 is adhered along the edge 34d to the polarizing plate 33 exposed by the peeling. The area of the surface 33a. After the adhesion, the release liner attached to the adhesive tape 51 is peeled off, and the partially peeled surface protection film 37 is adhered to the adhesive of the exposed adhesive tape 51. In this case, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the end edge 34d side of the polarizing plate 33 so as to embed the peeling non-adhesion region formed by adhering the adhesive film 51 to the end edges 34a, 34c of the polarizing plate 33.

In this manner, in order to adhere the adhesive tape 51 to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 along the four end edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33, the surface protective film 37 is partially peeled off, and the adhesive tape 51 is adhered by peeling. After the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 is exposed, the release liner to which the adhesive tape 51 is attached is peeled off, and as shown in FIG. 10, the partially peeled surface protective film 37 is adhered and adhered to the adhered adhesive tape 51. Agent.

33a。In this embodiment, the adhesive tape 51 of the polarizing plate 33 may be flush with the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 corresponding to each end edge along the respective end edges of the adhesive (ie, the four end edges 34a to 34d). In other words, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 so that the edge of each of the polarizing plates 33 coincides with the outer edge of each of the adhesive tapes 51. Alternatively, the adhesive tape 51 of the polarizing plate 33 may be along the respective end edges 34a to 34d of the adhesive, so that the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 corresponding to each of the end edges 34a to 34d is smaller than the thickness of the polarizing plate 33. The adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 by protruding from the respective end edges.

Here, as shown in FIG. 1, in general, since the substrate 31 is formed larger than the polarizing plate 33, the adhesive tape 51 may occur when the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 is extended outward from the edge of the polarizing plate 33. Adhesion to the substrate 31 prevents the peeling of the polarizing plate 33 from the substrate 31. Further, in general, the polarizing plate 33 is cut to form a predetermined shape, and since there is a portion which is not in line at the end edge thereof (for example, a portion which becomes a burr), the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 is self-contained. When the edge of the polarizing plate 33 is retracted toward the inside, there is a fear that the portion which is not in the straight line is broken as a starting point.

However, as described above, the adhesive tape 51 of the polarizing plate 33 may be flush with the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 corresponding to each end edge along the respective end edges of the adhesive tape 51; or the polarizing plate 33 may be used. The adhesive tape 51 is along the respective end edges 34a to 34d of the adhesion, so that the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 corresponding to each of the end edges 34a to 34d protrudes outward from each end edge by a length smaller than the thickness of the polarizing plate 33. In a manner, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33, whereby the problem caused by the excess of the adhesive tape 51 as described above or the problem caused by the retreat can be suppressed. Therefore, the polarizing plate 33 can be more reliably suppressed from being broken, and the polarizing plate 33 can be peeled off from the substrate 31 together with the surface protective film 37. Further, if the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 protrudes outward from the end edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33 by a length smaller than the thickness of the polarizing plate 33, the adhesive tape 51 does not adhere to the substrate 31. The polarizing plate 33 is more reliably suppressed from being broken as described above, and the polarizing plate 33 can be peeled off from the substrate 31 together with the surface protective film 37.

10~50mm。The width of the adhesive tape 51 is not particularly limited, but can be appropriately set. For example, when the width of the adhesive tape 51 is increased, the tendency of the surface protection film 37 and the polarizing plate 33 to be detached is further suppressed, and on the other hand, the cost tends to be high. Therefore, for example, in consideration of the foregoing point of view, the width of the adhesive tape 51 is preferably 10 to 50 mm.

37a。Next, the adhesive sheet 53 is further adhered to the outer surface of the surface protective film 37 so as to overlap the adhesive tape 51 adhered along the edge edges 34a, 34b, 34c, and 34d of the polarizing plate 33 via the surface protective film 37. 37a.

In the present embodiment, the adhesive sheet 53 in which the adhesive is exposed on only one side is used. In the adhesive sheet 53, for example, a release liner is attached to one side of the double-sided tape in the same manner as the adhesive tape 51 (without peeling the release liner). The surface of the adhesive sheet 53 (the surface opposite to the side adhered to the surface protective film 37, here the surface of the release liner) is preferably more slidable than the surface protective film 37. Specifically, the friction coefficient of the surface of the adhesive sheet 53 is preferably smaller than the friction coefficient of the outer surface 37a of the surface protective film 37.

37a。In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 11, the adhesive sheet 53 is further overlapped with the adhesive tape 51 adhered along the edge 34a of the polarizing plate 33 via the surface protective film 37, that is, along the edge. The outer edge 37a of the surface protective film 37 is adhered in such a manner as to end the edge 38a of the surface protective film 37.

37a。Further, as shown in FIG. 12, the adhesive sheet 53 is further overlapped with the adhesive tape 51 adhered along the edge 34b of the polarizing plate 33 via the surface protective film 37, that is, along the surface protective film 37. The end edge 38b is adhered to the outer surface 37a of the surface protection film 37.

37a。Further, in the same manner as the above, the adhesive sheet 53 is further overlapped with the adhesive tape 51 adhered along the edge 34c of the polarizing plate 33 via the surface protective film 37, that is, along the surface protective film 37. The end edge 38c is adhered to the outer surface 37a of the surface protective film 37. Further, the adhesive sheet 53 is overlapped with the adhesive tape 51 adhered along the edge 34d of the polarizing plate 33 via the surface protective film 37, that is, along the edge 38d of the surface protective film 37. Adhered to the outer surface 37a of the surface protection film 37.

37a。As described above, as shown in FIG. 13, the adhesive sheet 53 is adhered to the outer surface 37a of the surface protective film 37 along the four end edges 38a to 38d so as to overlap the adhesive tape 51 with the surface protective film 37 interposed therebetween.

The peeling device 1 is used, and the polarizing plate 33 is peeled off in order from the surface protective film 37, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53 with the corner portion 35a of the polarizing plate 33 as the peeling starting point P.

A preferred peeling device 1 used in the peeling method of the present embodiment will be described.

As shown in Fig. 14 and Fig. 15, the peeling device 1 of the present embodiment includes a table member 3 on which the laminated body 30 is placed, a roll-shaped peeling auxiliary member 7 and a peeling member 5 which is a peeling member 5 The corner portion 35a of the polarizing plate 33, which is peeled off by the peeling auxiliary member 7, and the corner portion 39a of the surface protective film 39, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53 which are overlapped with each other are held, and the polarizing plate 33 is further peeled off in order. . More specifically, the peeling device 1 of the present embodiment has the winding member 5 as the peeling member 5. The winding member 5 is configured such that the corner portion 35a of the polarizing plate 33 which is peeled off from the laminated body 30 and is bent by the peeling auxiliary member 7 and the adhesive tape 51, the adhesive sheet 53, and the corner portion 39a of the surface protective film which are overlapped therewith The winding member 5 is wound together, and by rotating the winding member 5, the polarizing plate 33 is further peeled off and wound in order.

The table member 3 is a stage on which the laminated body 30 is placed from the laminated body 30 to the time when all of the polarizing plates 33 are peeled off.

The peeling auxiliary member 7 peels the polarizing plate 33 from the substrate 31, and bends the peeled polarizing plate 33 together with the surface protective film 37, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53, and guides it toward the rear end side. The peeling auxiliary member 7 can be exemplified by a roller body.

The winding member 5 winds the corner portion 35a of the peeled polarizing plate 33 together with the adhesive tape 51, the adhesive sheet 53, and the corner portion 39a of the surface protective film 37, and rotates in this state, thereby causing polarization. The plate 33 is further peeled off together with the adhesive tape 51, the adhesive sheet 53, and the surface protective film 37 and sequentially wound. The winding member 5 may be, for example, a roller that is rotated by a driving device 17 such as a motor. Further, in the winding member 5, the corner portion 35a of the peeled polarizing plate 33 and the adhesive tape 51, the adhesive sheet 53 and the corner portion 39a of the surface protective film 37 which are overlapped thereon are brought together by a tape (not shown) or the like. fixed. Further, in FIG. 14, the polarizing plate 33 is peeled off from the substrate 31 together with the first adhesive (not shown).

In the present embodiment, the peeling device 1 is used to peel the corner portion 35a of the polarizing plate 33 from the corner portion 39a of the surface protective film 37, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53 from the laminated body 30, and the peeling portion is wound. The auxiliary member 7 is peeled off and further wound around the peeling member 5. In this state, the peeling member 33 is wound by the peeling member 51, and the peeling polarizing plate 33 is bent together with the surface protective film 37, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53 by the peeling auxiliary member 7, and guided to the peeling member 5, and It is wound by the peeling member 5. Thereby, the polarizing plate 33 is further peeled off and wound by the substrate 31 in this order together with the surface protective film 37, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53.

The peeling of the corner portion 35a of the polarizing plate 33 from the laminated body 30 is performed as follows. In other words, the blade of the operator grasps a peeling blade (not shown) having a blade at the tip end, and the peeling blade is inserted between the substrate 31 of the laminated body 30 and the corner portion 35a of the polarizing plate 33, thereby peeling off the polarizing plate. 33 corner portion 35a. More specifically, the peeling blade is inserted between the first adhesive (not shown) adhered to the surface 33b on the substrate 31 side of the polarizing plate 33 and the substrate 31, and the polarizing plate 33 is together with the first adhesive. Stripped.

Further, the corner portion 35a of the peeled polarizing plate 33 is wound around the winding member 5 together with the corner portion 39a of the surface protective film 37, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53, as follows. In other words, the corner portion 35a of the peeling polarizing plate 33 is wound around the circumferential surface of the winding member 5, and is fixed to the circumferential surface by a tape (not shown) or the like, thereby performing the above-described winding.

Next, from the state shown in FIG. 15, when the polarizing plate 33 is further peeled off by the winding member 5 and sequentially wound, as the polarizing plate 33 continues to peel off, as shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, the laminated body 30 faces The side opposite to the peeling direction X (refer to the reverse white arrow marks in FIGS. 16 and 17) is sequentially moved. That is, the laminated body 30 relatively moves to the table member 3. More specifically, the laminated body 30 slides on the table member 3. As shown in FIG. 17, when all of the last polarizing plates 33 are peeled off and the substrate 31 is completely exposed, the laminated body 30 stops moving. In this manner, the polarizing plate 33 is peeled off from the laminated body 30 together with the surface protective film 37, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53.

As described above, the peeling method of the present embodiment is a peeling method of peeling the polarizing plate 33 from the rectangular laminated body 30, and the rectangular laminated body 30 has the substrate 31 and a polarizing plate 33 adhered to one surface 31a of the substrate 31. The laminated body 30 further includes a surface protective film 37 which is peelably adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 opposite to the substrate 31, and partially peels off the surface protective film 37. Adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33, and at least two end edges of a corner portion 35a are formed along the four end edges 34a, 34b, 34c, and 34d of the polarizing plate 33. In the method of 34a and 34b, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33, and the surface protective film 37 is adhered and adhered to the adhesive tape 51, and the polarized light is used as the peeling starting point P. The plate 33 is peeled off together with the surface protection film 37 and the above-mentioned adhesive tape 51.

According to this configuration, the surface protective film 37 is partially peeled off, and the adhesive tape 51 is formed so as to form at least two end edges 34a and 34b of one corner portion 35a along the four end edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33. The adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33, and the polarizing plate 33 is peeled off together with the surface protective film 37 and the adhesive tape 51 with the corner portion 35a as the peeling starting point P. By peeling off as described above, when the polarizing plate 33 is peeled off, the surface protective film 37 can be prevented from being detached from the polarizing plate 33. Thereby, as shown in FIG. 18, the state which adhered the surface protection film 37 and the polarizing plate 33 is maintained during peeling. As a result, since the polarizing plate 33 is maintained in a state of being reinforced by the surface protective film 37 and peeled off from the substrate 31, the polarizing plate 33 can be prevented from being broken. Here, in order to adhere the adhesive sheet described in Patent Document 1 to the entire surface of the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33, it is necessary to peel the entire surface protective film 37 to expose the polarizing plate 33, and then to expose the polarizing plate 33. The surface 33a adheres to the entire surface of the adhesive sheet. Therefore, only the adhesive sheet is adhered to the entire surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33, and the polarizing plate 33 is reinforced by using another adhesive sheet, so that only the portion is processed. However, according to the above configuration, since the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the portion on the edge side of the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33, the processing of the portion can be omitted. Further, since the surface protective film 37 can be used to reinforce the polarizing plate 33, the surface protective film 37 can be effectively utilized, and the polarizing plate 33 can be reinforced by another member. Thus, the polarizing plate 33 can be suppressed from being broken, and the polarizing plate 33 can be easily peeled off from the substrate 31 together with the surface protective film 37.

Further, in the peeling method of the present embodiment, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered in such a manner that the adhesive tape 51 of the polarizing plate 33 is adhered to the respective end edges 34 to 34d and the respective end edges 34a to 34d. The outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 is flush with the outer edge; or the adhesive tape 51 of the polarizing plate 33 is adjacent to the end edges 34a to 34d of the adhesive, so that the adhesion of the respective end edges 34a to 34d is made. The outer end edge of the tape 51 protrudes outward from the respective end edges with a length smaller than the thickness of the polarizing plate 33.

Here, in general, since the substrate 31 is formed larger than the polarizing plate 33, when the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 is longer than the thickness of the polarizing plate 33 from the edge 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33, it may occur. The adhesive tape 51 adheres to the substrate 31 and hinders the problem of peeling of the polarizing plate 33 from the substrate 31. Further, in general, the polarizing plate 33 is cut into a predetermined shape, and microscopically, there are portions which are not in line (for example, a portion which becomes a burr) at the end edges thereof. Therefore, when the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 is retracted from the end edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33, there is a fear that cracks may occur due to the portion which is not a straight line. However, according to this configuration, it is possible to suppress the problem caused by the excess of the adhesive tape 51 as described above or the problem caused by the retreat, so that the crack of the polarizing plate 33 can be more surely suppressed, and the polarizing plate 33 can be together with the surface protective film 37. The substrate 31 is peeled off.

33a。Further, in the peeling method of the present embodiment, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 so as to extend along the four end edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33.

According to this configuration, when the polarizing plate 33 is peeled off, the surface protective film 37 can be more reliably prevented from being detached from the polarizing plate 33, so that the polarizing plate 33 can be more reliably suppressed from being broken, and the polarizing plate 33 and the surface protective film 37 are together from the substrate 31. Stripped.

Further, in the peeling method of the present embodiment, the adhesive sheet 53 is further adhered to the surface of the surface protective film 37 opposite to the polarizing plate 33 so as to overlap the surface protective film 37 and the adhesive tape 51. The surface 37a peels off the polarizing plate 33 together with the surface protection film 37, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53.

According to this configuration, the adhesive sheet 53 is further adhered to the outer surface 37a of the surface protective film 37, whereby the polarizing plate 33 is further reinforced when the polarizing plate 33 is peeled off. Thereby, the rupture of the polarizing plate 33 can be more surely suppressed, and the polarizing plate 33 can be peeled off from the substrate 31 together with the surface protective film 37.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, the polarizing plate 33 can be prevented from being broken, and the polarizing plate 33 can be easily peeled off from the substrate 31 together with the surface protective film 37.

Although the peeling method of this embodiment is as described above, the peeling method of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment.

For example, in the above embodiment, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the polarizing plate 33, and the adhesive sheet 53 is adhered to the surface protective film 37. However, it is also possible to use a pattern in which the adhesive sheet 53 is not adhered and the polarizing plate 33 is peeled off together with the surface protective film 37 and the adhesive tape 51.

Further, in the above embodiment, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered along the four end edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33. However, as long as the adhesive tape 51 is adhered along at least two end edges 34a and 34b constituting the corner portion 35a, the number of the regions where the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the polarizing plate 33 is not particularly limited.

Further, in the above embodiment, the four adhesive sheets 53 are attached so as to be adhered to the four adhesive tapes 51 via the surface protective film 37. However, if the adhesive sheet 53 is adhered so as to overlap the adhesive sheet 51, the shape, size, and number of the adhesive sheet 53 are not particularly limited, and may be appropriately set in accordance with the number of the adhesive sheets 51. For example, the adhesive sheet 53 may be formed to have the same size as the surface protective film 37, and the adhesive sheet may be adhered to the entire surface 37a of the surface protective film 37.

Further, in the above-described embodiment, the substrate 31 is formed larger than the polarizing plate 33 and the surface protective film 37, and is formed to have the same size as the polarizing plate 33 and the surface protective film 37. However, in the present invention, the size is the same. It is not necessarily limited to the above embodiment.

Further, the order of adhesion between the adhesive tapes 51 and the order of adhesion between the adhesive sheets 53 are not particularly limited.

51。Further, in the above-described embodiment, the edge edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33 are partially peeled off by the surface protective film 37, adhered to the adhesive film 51, and the surface protective film 37 is covered and adhered to the adhesive film 51. And repeat. However, in addition to this, the side edges 38a to 38d of the surface protective film 37 corresponding to the edge edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33 may be partially peeled and fixed at the same time, thereby exposing all the edge 34a of the polarizing plate 33. ~34d side, temporarily fixed to the side edges 38a to 38d of the peeling state in this state, and after the adhesive tape 51 is adhered along the edge edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33, the temporary fixing is released, and the surface protection by partial peeling is performed. The side edges 38a to 38d of the film 37 are coated and adhered to the adhesive tape 51.

Further, in the above-described embodiment, a plurality of adhesive tapes 51 are used, and the adhesive tapes 51 are adhered to the edge of the polarizing plate 33. Alternatively, one of the plurality of edge edges may be used in advance. Adhesive tape is adhered and adhered along each edge of the polarizing plate 33. Further, as for the adhesive sheet 53, one adhesive sheet formed along a plurality of end edges can be used in advance.

Next, the present invention will be described in more detail while exemplifying the embodiments. [Examples]

30。The laminate 30 shown in Figs. 1 to 3 is used. Specifically, the polarizing plate 33 is a polarizing plate 33 (thickness: about 100 μm) which is laminated on both surfaces of the polarizer 41 via the protective film 45 via the adhesive layer 43 having the second adhesive. The laminated body 30 is formed by laminating one of the protective films 45 of the polarizing plate 33 via the first adhesive layer via the substrate 31, and the two protective film layers 37 are laminated on the other protective film 45 via the third adhesive layer. Body 30. More specifically, the protective film 45 is laminated on both surfaces of the polarizer 41 via the two adhesive layers 43 having the second adhesive, and a spacer (not shown) is laminated on the protective layer via the first adhesive. One of the protective films 45 of the film 45 and the surface protective film 37 are laminated on the other protective film 45 (TEG1465DU, manufactured by Nitto Denko Corporation), and the laminated film is laminated on the substrate 31. Thereby, the laminated body 30 is formed.

The adhesive tape 51 is used for a double-sided tape (No. 500, manufactured by Nitto Denko Corporation) to which a release liner is attached to one side.

As the adhesive sheet 53, a double-sided tape to which a release liner is attached similarly to the adhesive tape 51, and an adhesive sheet 53 formed to have the same size as the surface protection film 37 (that is, the same size as the polarizing plate 33) are used. Specifically, the adhesive sheet 53 is a specification product that is excluded from the quality inspection (except for adhesion) of the above-mentioned commercial product (TEG1465DU, manufactured by Nitto Denko Corporation). The outer surface of the double-sided tape (the outer surface of the release liner) as the adhesive sheet 53 has a smaller coefficient of friction than the outer surface 37a of the surface protective film 37.

1。(Example 1) The surface protective film 37 was partially peeled off so that the adhesive tape 51 adhered along the four edge edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33. After the peeling, the peeling liner is attached as the adhesive tape 51 so as to be along the end edges 34a to 34d and the end edges 34a to 34d are flush with the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51. The double-sided tape is adhered to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33. After the adhesion, the release liner is peeled off, and the surface protective film 37 is coated and adhered to the adhesive (not shown) of the adhesive tape 51. Further, the surface of the surface protective film 37 is overlapped with the adhesive tape 51 so that the adhesive sheet 53 is along the four end edges 38a to 38d of the surface protective film 37, and the respective end edges 38a to 38d are The double-sided tape to which the release liner 53 is attached as the adhesive sheet 53 is adhered to the outer surface 37a of the surface protective film 37 in such a manner that the outer edge of the adhesive sheet 53 is flush. Furthermore, the release liner was not peeled off. Further, the peeling device 1 shown in Figs. 14 and 15 is used, and the polarizing plate 33 is peeled off together with the surface protective film 37, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53 with the corner portion 35a of the polarizing plate 33 as the peeling starting point P. The state of detachment of the surface protective film 37 from the polarizing plate 33 and the state of rupture of the polarizing plate 33 at this time were visually observed. This is repeated 50 times. If the success rate is 90% or more, it is judged to be good. It is indicated by "〇". If the success rate is 50% or more and written at 90%, it is judged to be slightly better, and it is indicated by "△". If it is less than 50%, it is bad, and it is represented by "X". The results are shown in Table 1.

1。(Example 2) Except that the adhesive sheet 53 was not adhered to the surface protective film 37, the peeling device 1 was used, and the polarizing plate 33 was peeled off together with the surface protective film 37 and the adhesive tape 51, and was carried out in the same manner as in Example 1. Example 1 was evaluated in the same manner. The results are shown in Table 1.

1。(Example 3) Adhesive tape 51 was adhered to the end edges 34a and 34b of the polarizing plate 33 so that the end edges 34a and 34b were flush with the edge of the outer side of the adhesive tape 51. The outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33. After the adhesion, the surface protective film 37 is overlapped with the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53 is along the edge edges 38a, 38b of the surface protective film 37, and the edge of the outer side of the adhesive sheet 53 is used. The double-sided tape to which the release liner is attached is adhered as the adhesive sheet 53 in such a manner that the end edges 38a, 38b are flush. In the same manner as in the first embodiment, the polarizing plate 33 was peeled off together with the surface protective film 37, the adhesive tape 51, and the adhesive sheet 53 in the same manner as in the first embodiment, and the same evaluation as in the first embodiment was carried out. The results are shown in Table 1.

1。(Example 4) An adhesive sheet 53 having the same size as the surface protective film 37 (i.e., the polarizing plate 33) was adhered to the entire surface 37a of the surface protective film 37.

1。(Embodiment 5) The edge of the outer side of the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 is located along the four end edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33, and the edge of the outer side of each of the adhesive tapes 51 is located 2 mm inside from the end edges 34a to 34d. Adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the position.

1。(Example 6) The outer edge 33a to 34d of the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 and the outer edge of each of the adhesive tapes 51 protrude outward by 50 μm from the respective end edges 34a to 34d. The way sticks the adhesive tape 51.

1。(Comparative Example 1) The polarizing plate 33 was peeled off together with the surface protective film 37 and the adhesive sheet 53 by using the peeling device 1 except that the adhesive tape 51 was not adhered to the surface 33a other than the polarizing plate 33. The same evaluation as in Example 1 was carried out. The results are shown in Table 1.

1。(Comparative Example 2) The polarizing plate 33 was used together with the surface protective film 37 and the adhesive sheet 53 except that the adhesive tape 51 was not adhered to the surface 33a other than the polarizing plate 33, and the peeling device 1 was used. The same evaluation as in Example 1 was carried out. The results are shown in Table 1.

1】 (Comparative Example 3) The polarizing plate 33 was peeled off together with the surface protective film 37 using the peeling device 1 except that the adhesive tape 51 was not adhered to the surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33, and the polarizing plate 33 was peeled off together with the surface protective film 37. The same evaluation. The results are shown in Table 1. 【Table 1】

33。As shown in Table 1, it is possible to suppress cracking of the polarizing plate 33 by adhering the adhesive tape 51 to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 along at least two end edges 34a, 34b of the polarizing plate 33, and it is good. The polarizing plate 33 is peeled off from the substrate 31. It is understood that the polarizing plate 33 can be more easily peeled off from the substrate 31 by adhering the adhesive tape 51 to the outer surface 33a of the polarizing plate 33 along the four end edges 34a to 34d of the polarizing plate 33. It is understood that the polarizing plate 33 can be peeled off from the substrate 31 more favorably by making the adhesive tape 51 of the polarizing plate 33 flush with the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 corresponding to each edge along the respective end edges of the adhesive. Moreover, it can be seen that the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 corresponding to each of the end edges 34a to 34d is smaller than the thickness of the polarizing plate 33 by the adhesive tape 51 of the polarizing plate 33 along the respective edge 34a to 34d of the adhesion. The length protrudes outward from the respective end edges, and the polarizing plate 33 can be peeled off from the substrate 31 more favorably. It is understood that the polarizing plate 33 can be peeled off from the substrate 31 more favorably by adhering the adhesive sheet 53 to the entire surface 37a of the surface protective film 37.

As in the case of the embodiment 2, in the case where the adhesive sheet 53 is not adhered to the surface 37a other than the surface protective film 37, adhesion is adhered to the outer surface 37a of the surface protective film 37 along the two end edges 38a, 38b. In the case of the sheet 53, the slidability of the peeling auxiliary member 7 is good. Further, in the case where the adhesive sheet 53 is adhered to the outer surface 37a of the surface protective film 37 along the two end edges 38a, 38b, the surface protective film is formed along the four end edges 38a to 38d. When the adhesive sheet 53 is adhered to the outer surface 37a of the outer surface 37a, and the adhesive sheet 53 is adhered to the entire outer surface 37a of the surface protective film 37, the slidability of the peeling auxiliary member 7 is good.

As in the case of the embodiment 4, the adhesive sheet 53 is adhered to the outer surface 37a of the surface protective film 37 along the edge of the surface protective film 37 as compared with the case where the adhesive sheet 53 is adhered to the entire surface 37a of the surface protective film 37. The case of 53 is simple on the equipment surface and work surface.

The edge of the polarizing plate 33 used is in a relatively thick state (a state of being burred by microscopic view). Therefore, as in the case of the embodiment 5, as in the case where the adhesive tape 51 is adhered to the inner side of the edge of the polarizing plate 33, as in the first to fourth embodiments, the adhesive tape 51 of the polarizing plate 33 is adhered along the adhesive tape 51. When the end edges are adhered to the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 corresponding to each end edge, the adhesive tape 51 is adhered, and the thick portion can be reinforced by the adhesive tape 51, so that the crack can be more suppressed. Further, as in the sixth embodiment, the adhesive tape 51 of the polarizing plate 33 is along the respective end edges 34a to 34d of the adhesive, so that the outer edge of the adhesive tape 51 corresponding to each of the end edges 34a to 34d is smaller than the polarizing plate. When the length of the thickness of 33 is protruded outward from the respective end edges, as in the first to fourth embodiments, the thicker end portion of the polarizing plate 33 can be reinforced by the adhesive tape 51. Thereby, Example 6 can suppress cracking more than in Example 5.
