Description
The invention relates to medical equipment and can be used in the manufacture of metal receiving sleeves.
The purpose of the invention is the exclusion of gaps and thickness of the walls of the liner.
The drawing shows a diagram of the implementation of the method.
The method is as follows.
3.In the metal shell 1, a negative matrix 2 is obtained, molded according to the cult of the disabled person by winding a cast bandage onto it and then installing the resulting cavity in gypsum 3 or dipping the stump in liquid gypsum 3.
After the gypsum 3 hardens, a conical hollow metal billet 4, for example, of aluminum alloy or titanium, is installed in the obtained negative matrix 2. The height of the workpiece should be equal to the height of the negative matrix 2 of the shell 1. The conical hollow metal billet 4 is pressed with a cover 5 with a guide cylinder 6, thereby isolating it from the external environment, and filled with elastic granular filler 7, for example polyurethane. Inside the guide cylinder 6, a punch 8 is installed and, for example, with the help of a hydraulic press 9, smoothly increasing static pressure is applied to it.
With the help of a hydraulic press, the punch is first lowered into the guide cylinder 6, and then into the conical hollow metal billet 4. Since the inner cavity of the billet is isolated from the outer space, the elastic medium is compacted. Through a compacted elastic medium of granular polyurethane, static pressure under the end face of the punch 9 and along its perimeter is transmitted to the walls of the workpiece. The required pressure is determined by the type of material and its thickness. For example, up to 6 tons are required for an aluminum alloy, and up to 12 tons for titanium. Due to the large friction of the polyurethane granules on the walls of the workpiece and between each other, the forces are transmitted in the radial direction, developing contact and compressive shear stresses, deforming the conical hollow metal blanks 4 in the form of a matrix-negative 2. The speed of shaping is determined by the speed of movement of the hydraulic press, the travel time of which, for example, to a height of 300 mm can be 1–5 s or more. This speed of deformation of the workpiece is several hundred times less than the speed of deformation during pulse stamping by a known method. Due to the low rate of static pressure, the deformation of the metal billet is carried out by the heavy material in the meridional direction, which eliminates the appearance of tears and cracks in the billet material. The thickness of the molded product is almost the same throughout its volume, and the shape of the stamped part exactly repeats the shape of the matrix. Understamping is practically excluded.
The granular filler 7 (polyurethane) simplifies the filling of the internal volume of the workpiece, is easily removed after stamping, since the shape and properties of the granules are restored after depressurization, which allows the elastomer to be used repeatedly.
The use of stamping static gradually increasing pressure, instead of pulse, allows you to abandon the specialized and expensive detonation-gas equipment that is used in pulse stamping, improve safety, reduce the deformation rate, which eliminates the uneven sharp impact on the workpiece caused by wave processes of pulse stamping , i.e., eliminates microcracks and breaks in the material, and also excludes the influence of inertial forces that prevent meridional th movement of the workpiece material (hood) during shaping.
Thus, the method due to slowly increasing static pressure allows for stamping to carry out meridional movements of the workpiece material, which eliminates the appearance of cracks and gaps in the product, allows the formation of equally thick products, i.e., improves the quality of the receiving sleeves of limb prostheses made of metal. Due to the repeated use of bulk elastomeric material as a medium that transfers pressure to the workpiece, the production culture is increased. In addition, the method improves safety when stamping metal products.
