Abstract

A radio earpiece, e.g. for a motor cyclist or fireman, comprises a casing 2 fitted to a hole in an ear region 19 of a helmet (1, Fig. 1) so as to be externally disposed relative to the helmet with a sealing ring 14 located in a groove in annular end face 13 of the casing sealing the latter against the outer surface of the helmet. In the illustrated case, the casing 2 is secured by a flanged fixing ring 17 which screws into the casing 2 but the casing 2 could have an extension which projects into the hole and is held by means within the helmet. <IMAGE>
