:'" W Tf? Z IL .\ 1 u' kf EJ (TI Vanligen göres aseptiska förpackningar med ett förpacknings- material som innehåller en tunn metallfolie, företrädesvis aluminiumfolie. Då förpackningsmaterialet innehåller en metallfolie är det möjligt att använda induktionssvetsning vilket också är en känd teknik inom förpackningsindustrin.
Tekniken för induktionssvetsning bygger pà det faktum att magnetfältet runt en av växelström genomfluten ledare förmår inducera en ström i ett intilliggande elektriskt ledande material, vilket beroende av materialets resistans medför en mer eller mindre uttalad uppvärmning av materialet. Vid induktionssvetsning anbringas sålunda en induktorslinga eller spole med samma figuration som den önskade svetsen skall erhålla intill det aluminiumfolie innehållande laminatet, varefter laminatet sammanpressas med det material som det skall förbindas med. Aluminiumfolien kommer nu att uppvärmas i ett mot spolens konfiguration svarande mönster och genom lämpligt vald strömstyrka, frekvens och bearbetningstid, kan materialet uppvärmas till önskad temperatur, d.v.s. en temperatur som är tillräckligt hög för att intilliggande skikt av termoplast skall uppvärmas till förseglingstemperatur, varvid under tryck sammanförda termoplastskikt bringas att sammansmälta till erhållande av en tät och hàllfast skarv.
Befintliga induktorer är dock oftast utformade för svetsning på en löpande bana, där tvärskarvarna göres två och två med ett mellanrum där banan sedan avskiljes. För att kunna använda befintliga induktorer på en redan färdigklippt kapsel ' med det-begränsade-utrymme som står till förseglingsskarvens I förfogande kan man göra induktorer med smalare rör men detta medför oftast att man får problem med att kyla induktorn och man får också mer svårtillverkade induktorer. Mellanrummet mellan de två ledarna i induktorn kan också göras smalare men då krävs en större strömstyrka för att erhålla en tillförlitlig förseglingsskarv och detta medför i sin tur större förluster i induktorn. (11 CD CÖ (H RÖ Ett ändamål med föreliggande uppfinning är att utforma en induktor som förseglar på en mycket smal yta utan att ge upphov till stora strömförluster eller problem med att kyla induktorn.
Detta och andra ändamål har enligt uppfinningen uppnåtts genom att anordningen av den inledningsvis beskrivna typen, givits kännetecknen av att åtminstone en av de två ledarna har en väsentligt större utbredning än den andra ledaren i ett mot nämnda första plan vinkelrätt andra plan.
Föredragna utföringsformer av uppfinningen har vidare getts de av underkraven framgående kännetecknen.
En föredragen utföringsform av uppfinningen kommer nu närmare att beskrivas med hänvisning till bifogade ritningar av vilka Fig. l visar anordningens induktordel Fig. 2 schematiskt visar en genomskärning av anordningens induktordel Fig. 3 schematiskt visar en genomskärning av hur förseglingen utföres på den förklippta kapselkanten.
I fig. 1 visas anordningens induktordel l vilken består av en i huvudsak parallellepedisk bärardel 2 tillverkad av ett elektriskt isolerande ämne företrädesvis gjutmassa med ferrit.
I och delvis på ytan av bärardelen 2 finns två stycken ledare 3, 4 vilka är elektriskt sammankopplade. Ena ledaren 3 består av ett rör eller en stav av koppar. Den andra ledaren 4 består av en kopparplåt. Den förstnämnda ledaren 3 kan med “ fördel utformas med.en från bärardelsytan uppstàende às 5.
Denna uppstàende ås 5 tryckes vid förseglingen under hårdare tryck mot förpackningsmaterialet 9 och medverkar till bättre förseglingsskarvar.
I ett plan av bärardelen 2, benämnt första planet 6, ses på ytan de två ledarna 3, 4 som två ungefär likbreda delar med ett mellanrum mellan dem. I ett andra plan 7 vinkelrätt mot det första planet 6 ses den ena ledaren 4 såsom en betydligt bredare kopparyta. Dess bredd är minst 2 gånger bredare än ledarens 3 bredd. I en föredragen utföringsform är ledare 4 10 15 20 25 30 35 f) * C.) CI.) (71 .NJ l\ 'J Q. ca. 3 gånger bredare än ledarens 3 bredd. Uppvärmningen förhåller sig som kvadraten pà bredden och i den föredragna utföringsformen får man således en 9 gånger högre uppvärmning under den smalare ledaren 3, samtidigt som storleken pà induktor 1 kan hållas inom acceptabla gränser.
Ledarna 3, 4 är i bärardelens ena ände förlängda till anslutningsorgan 8 för en här ej visad högfrekvent strömkälla, varifrån man kan erhålla en konstant effekt, som kan styras för en optimal svetsprocess. l bärardelens 2 andra ände är ledarna 3, 4 elektriskt sammankopplade så att de utgör ett varv i en spole.
En iörseglingsanordning eller induktor 1 av den typ som visas i fig. 1 är avsedd att monteras in i en maskindel som bibringas önskad förseglingsrörelse och utövar önskat förseglingstryek. D.v.s. nämnda förseglingsdel som ofta kallas förseglingsback föres i relativrörelse mot en sà kallad motback eller mothållsback 10 som även den i de flesta fall är rörlig. Motbaoken 10 är helt eller delvis tillverkad av hårdgummi för att kunna tjäna som tryckutjämnare. Den fyllda förpackningskapselns öppna ände formas så att förpackningsmaterialet 9 föres samman över så stor bredd som möjligt. De nämnda förseglingsbackarna 1, 10 föres mot varandra såsom visas i fig. 3 och de båda förpackningsbackarna 1, 10 omsluter den del av förpackningsmaterialet 9 som skall förseglas. Förpackningsmaterialet 9 ligger därvid an mot båda de plan 6, 7 där ledarna 3, 4 är synliga på ytan av bärardelen 2 av induktor 1.
Förseglingsbackarna 1, 10 utövar ett tryck på de sammanpressade förpackningsmateríallagren 9 samtidigt som värme genereras i förseglingsområdet med hjälp av induktorn 1.
Dá en högfrekvent ström går genom den spole som induktorns 1 bada ledare 3, 4 utgöres av, induceras en ström i metallfolieskiktet i förpackningsmaterialet 9, vilket leder till att metallfolieskiktet snabbt uppvärmes och avger sin värme till intilliggande termoplastskiktet som bringas att smälta och f., 1 c s c;:.> m -_:1 m förena sig med intilliggande insidestermoplastskikt hos det intilliggande förpackningsmaterialskiktet. Denna uppvärmning åstadkommes snabbt och effektivt och man kan i princip anse att metallfolieskiktet utgör ett kortslutet varv i en transformator, där induktorspolen utgör primärlindningen.
Om induktorn l placeras intill det aluminiumfolieskikt i vilken en ström skall induceras blir strömbanan i aluminium- folieskiktet mitt för ledaren 3 mycket distinkt och värme- genereringen begränsas till ett smalt område ll som i huvudsak motsvarar induktorledarens 3 bredd. Mitt för ledarens 4 breda del i andra planet 7, fördelas strömmen som induceras över ett område 12 som är minst 3 gånger bredare än det område ll som ligger mitt för ledaren 3. Eftersom strömmen fördelar sig över en större yta i ledaren 4 blir omrâdet 12 inte uppvärmt till termoplastens smältpunkt och förpackningsmaterialet 9 som ligger an mot ledarens 4 breda del blir opàverkad i förseg- lingsögonblicket. Om ledaren 4 placeras såsom i den föredragna utföringsformen får man en koncentrerad och effektiv försegling av förpackningsmaterialet 9. Vid varje annan placering där ledaren 4 placeras längre från förpackningsmaterialet 9 riskerar man en försämrad förseglingseffekt, speciellt mot ändarna av induktorn l.
Med föreliggande uppfinning kan man således åstadkomma en med induktionsvärme utförd försegling på en mycket begränsad bredd där marginalerna är små och där man inte får överskrida det område som stàr till förseglingens förfogande. Samtidigt * utnyttjas induktorn.på ett effektivt sätt och man får en tät och/hållbar förseglingsskarv.

1. Anordning för försegling av ett kantomráde pá ett termoplastbelagt förpackningsmaterial (9) innefattande åtminstone ett skikt av metallfolie, företrädesvis aluminiumfolíe, varvid nämnda anordning omfattar en till en högfrekvent strömkälla anslutningsbar rörlig induktor (1) och ett rörligt mothäll (10), nämnda induktor (1) uppvisar åtminstone tvà i ett första plan (6) parallella, på nágot avstånd från varandra anordnade ledare (3, 4) samt en elektriskt isolerande bärardel (2), kännetecknad av, att i nämnda första plan (6) befinner sig de tvä kantomrâden (11) som skall förseglas, att i ett andra plan (7) vinkelrätt mot det första (6), befinner sig en del (12) av förpackningsmaterialet (9) som inte skall förseglas och att den ena ledaren (4) har i nämnda andra plan (7) en väsentligt större utbredning än den andra ledaren (3).
2. Anordning i enlighet med patentkravet 1, kännetecknad av, att nämnda första ledare (4) har en bredd i det nämnda andra planet (7) vilken är minst 2 gånger bredare än den andra ledaren (4).
3. Anordning i enlighet med patentkravet 1, kännetecknad av, att i nämnda första plan (6) har de bada ledarna (3, 4) samma bredd.
4. Anordning i enlighet med patentkravet 1, kännetecknad av, att förseglingen utföres mellan det första planet (6) och mothállet (10).
