The disadvantage of this method is the low and unstable strength characteristics of the resulting structural steel.
Чистовую прокатку завершают при температуре 870-910°С, затем проводят первый этап ускоренного охлаждения со скоростью 10-30°С/с до температуры 570-650°С, а второй этап ускоренного охлаждения проводят со скоростью 6-15°С/с до температуры смотки 450-570°С [Патент RU 2778533, МПК C21D8/02, C21D9/46, 2022].The closest in technical essence to the claimed invention is a method for producing strips 4-10 mm thick from low-alloy steel, including heating, rough rolling to an intermediate thickness, finishing rolling with a regulated temperature at the end of rolling, subsequent accelerated cooling to the coiling temperature in two stages, after which double heating of the rolled product is carried out, in which it is first heated to a temperature of Ac3+(20-40)°C, followed by cooling in air, and then heated to a temperature of Ac1±30°C, followed by cooling in air. Low alloy steel contains components in the following ratio, wt.%: carbon 0.16-0.22, manganese 1.45-1.80, silicon 0.40-0.60, chromium 0.10-0.30, nickel 0 .15-0.30, copper 0.10-0.30, niobium 0.02-0.05, vanadium 0.03-0.07, titanium 0.10-0.22, phosphorus no more than 0.020, sulfur not more than 0.010, aluminum 0.01 - 0.06, oxygen no more than 0.003, iron and inevitable impurities the rest. The disadvantage of this technical solution is the need for double heat treatment, which significantly increases the cost of production and complicates the technological process.
The technical result of the invention is a reduction in cost and an increase in the productivity of low-alloy steel strips in relation to the prototype, while maintaining the required level of mechanical properties of steel.
2.The mechanical properties of the strips according to the claimed method must satisfy the following parameters: σt≥490MPa, σb≥570MPa, relative elongation of at least 19%, impact strength KCU-40 of at least 40 J/cm 2 .
Указанный технический результат достигается тем, что в способе получения полос из низколегированной стали, включающем нагрев непрерывнолитой заготовки, черновую прокатку до промежуточной толщины, чистовую прокатку с регламентированной температурой конца прокатки, ускоренное охлаждение до температуры смотки в два этапа, последующий нагрев полос под термообработку, согласно изобретения низколегированная сталь содержит компоненты при следующем соотношении, мас.%:The specified technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of producing strips from low-alloy steel, including heating a continuously cast billet, rough rolling to an intermediate thickness, finishing rolling with a regulated temperature at the end of rolling, accelerated cooling to the coiling temperature in two stages, subsequent heating of the strips for heat treatment, according to of the invention, low-alloy steel contains components in the following ratio, wt.%:
при этом суммарное содержание Nb+V+Ti ≤ 0,23 %, Сэ ≤ 0,6 %, черновую прокатку осуществляют до промежуточной толщины подката, составляющей 3,5–5,5 толщин полос, а чистовую прокатку с получением полос проводят со скоростью не более 7,0 м/с, начиная при температуре 940–1010ºС и завершая при температуре 850–900ºС, проводят ускоренное охлаждение полос в два этапа, при этом первый этап охлаждения осуществляют со скоростью 10÷30°С/с от температуры завершения чистовой прокатки до температуры 550÷680°С, после чего осуществляют второй этап охлаждения со скоростью 6÷15°С/с до температуры смотки, составляющей 510÷600°С, а нагрев полос под термообработку осуществляют до температуры Ас3±80°С с продолжительностью 1,0-2,0 мин/мм толщины полосы с последующим охлаждением на воздухе.in this case, the total content of Nb + V + Ti ≤ 0.23%, C e ≤ 0.6%, rough rolling is carried out to an intermediate thickness of the rolled material, amounting to 3.5–5.5 strip thicknesses, and finishing rolling to obtain strips is carried out with at a speed of no more than 7.0 m/s, starting at a temperature of 940–1010ºС and ending at a temperature of 850–900ºС, accelerated cooling of the strips is carried out in two stages, with the first cooling stage carried out at a speed of 10÷30°С/s from the completion temperature finishing rolling to a temperature of 550÷680°C, after which the second stage of cooling is carried out at a speed of 6÷15°C/s to a coiling temperature of 510÷600°C, and heating of the strips for heat treatment is carried out to a temperature of Ac3±80°C with duration 1.0-2.0 min/mm of strip thickness, followed by cooling in air.
The essence of the invention.
The essence of the proposed method is to obtain a uniform fine-grained structure with a crushed sorbite-like morphology of pearlite colonies over the entire cross-section, favorable for the production of parts.
The carbon content in steel of the proposed composition determines its strength properties. A decrease in carbon content of less than 0.15% leads to a drop in strength below the permissible level. Increasing the carbon content beyond 0.25% worsens the ductility of steel.
Manganese was introduced to increase the strength of steel and bind sulfur impurities into sulfides. When the manganese content is less than 1.4%, the strength of steel decreases, which leads to increased rejection. Increasing the manganese concentration above 1.8% impairs the ductility of steel.
Silicon deoxidizes and strengthens steel, increasing its elastic properties. When the silicon content is less than 0.3%, the strength of steel is insufficient. An increase in silicon content of more than 0.7% leads to an increase in the number of silicate non-metallic inclusions, embrittlement of steel, and deterioration of its ductility.
Chromium, nickel, and copper strengthen the solid solution and increase the stability of supercooled austenite. A content of more than 0.30% of each leads to a decrease in visco-plastic characteristics, which can lead to the destruction of parts during manufacturing and operation.
Niobium and vanadium form fine particles (carbonitrides), which refine the grain and strengthen the steel. When the niobium content is more than 0.01% and vanadium is more than 0.10%, the cost of steel increases, but there is no significant increase in the mechanical properties of steel.
Phosphorus and sulfur are harmful impurities; when their content is more than 0.020% and 0.010%, respectively, the ductility of steel is significantly reduced, red brittleness increases, which can lead to destruction of rolled products during the rolling process and equipment breakdown.
Aluminum is introduced into steel as a deoxidizing agent. When the aluminum content is less than 0.01%, the ductility of steel decreases and the steel becomes prone to aging. An increase in aluminum content of more than 0.08% leads to a deterioration in the complex of mechanical properties.
Titanium refines the grain due to the formation of strengthening particles, which leads to an increase in the strength characteristics of steel. When the titanium content is less than 0.1%, the strength of the steel decreases. An increase in titanium content of more than 0.25% leads to a decrease in the ductility of steel.
Additions of molybdenum give steel a fine-grained structure, increase strength with equal ductility. Molybdenum in an amount of more than 0.01% increases the cost of steel, which is not economically feasible.
An increase in calcium content above 0.005% leads to an increase in the number of non-metallic inclusions in steel, which leads to a decrease in the mechanical properties of hot-rolled steel.
Nitrogen is a carbonitride-forming element that strengthens steel. However, increasing the nitrogen concentration above 0.010% leads to a decrease in the viscosity properties of steel at subzero temperatures.
0,005%.To increase low-temperature impact strength, as well as increase the hardenability of steel, add boron in an amount of no more than 0.005%.
The total content of Nb+V+Ti ≤ 0.23% and the carbon equivalent of steel (Se=C+Mn/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15≤0.6%), are regulated to ensure weldability of rolled metal.
Finish rolling begins at a temperature of 940–1010°C. The start temperature of finishing rolling in this range is necessary for more intensive refinement of austenite grains. At the start temperature of finishing rolling above 1010°C, austenite grains grow, which reduces the complex of mechanical properties, especially impact toughness. At the start temperature of finishing rolling below 940°C, the rolled product cools down, which leads to an uneven microstructure of the rolled product and high anisotropy of properties.
Hot rolling with end-of-rolling temperatures of 850-900°C, followed by accelerated cooling to the coiling temperature in two stages: the first stage at a speed of 10÷30°C/s to a temperature of 550÷680°C, the second stage at a speed of 6÷15°C /s up to a temperature of 510÷600°C, ensures uniform mechanical properties along the length of the strip.
The end of deformation below 850°C, in the two-phase region, leads to significant heterogeneity of the structure, which entails instability of mechanical properties in the hot-rolled state. An increase in the temperature of the end of hot rolling above 900°C leads to grain coarsening and a decrease in the strength properties of hot-rolled steel.
Winding of strips below 510°C leads to the formation of hardening structures in rolled products and, as a consequence, to the formation of end cracks during the manufacture of parts. At a coiling temperature above 600°C, the ductility of steel increases, but this leads to a decrease in its strength below the permissible level.
If the cooling rate at the first stage is below 15°C/s, the score of structural banding in rolled products will increase, negatively affecting the value of impact strength (becoming below the required level).
The cooling rate at the first stage is above 30°C/s and above 15°C/s at the second stage leads to the formation of hardening structures and the appearance of end cracks. The cooling rate at the first stage is below 10°C/s and at the second stage below 6°C/s leads to softening of rolled products below the required level.
Heating the strips to temperatures above Ac3+80°C leads to an increase in the size of individual austenite grains, the growth of which is not slowed down by excess carbide particles. This predetermines the formation of different grain sizes and increases the spread of mechanical properties, especially impact strength.
Heating the strips to a temperature lower than the temperature Ac3-80°C significantly lengthens the holding time for the formation of an austenite structure, which is not economically feasible.
Cooling the strips in air makes it possible to ensure a uniform structure and also minimize residual stresses in the rolled product.
Ac3 is calculated using the formula:
Ac3=(912-370*C-27.4*Mn+27.3*Si-6.35*Cr-32.7*Ni+95.2*V+190*Ti+72.0*Al+64.5*Nb+Ac3=(912-370*C-27.4*Mn+27.3*Si-6.35*Cr-32.7*Ni+95.2*V+190*Ti+72.0*Al+64.5*Nb+

The intermediate thickness of the rolled material before finishing rolling should be 3.5–5.5 strip thicknesses. When the thickness (multiplicity) of the rolled material is less than 3.5 times, the viscosity of the resulting strips decreases (the required mechanical properties deteriorate); when the thickness of the rolled material is more than 5.5 times, the energy-power parameters of rolling increase.
The maximum finishing rolling speed should be no more than 7.0 m/s. A finishing rolling speed of more than 7.0 m/s leads to uneven microstructure and a decrease in the viscosity characteristics of the strips.
Heating of rolled products for heat treatment is carried out with a duration of 1.0-2.0 min/mm of rolled product thickness. Heating with a duration of less than 1.0 min/mm does not allow obtaining a given set of mechanical properties; heating for more than 2.0 min/mm is not advisable, as it leads to an increase in the production cycle.
Implementation of the invention.
Steel billets with a given chemical composition (Table 1) were rolled in a hot rolling mill at a deformation temperature of 850–1010°C, rapidly cooled to the coiling temperature in two stages: in the first stage to a temperature of 660°C at a rate of 13°C/s, in the second stage to a temperature of 550°C at a rate of 7°C/s, then the rolls were heated in a continuous furnace with a roller hearth at a temperature of 800°C, after which they were cooled in air.
2). Table 2 shows the quality parameters of the hot-rolled strip produced using the proposed method, and also presents data on the hot-rolled strip produced using the prototype (option No. 6). The test results showed that in rolled products obtained by the proposed method (options No. 1-5), the required values of mechanical properties are achieved (σт≥490MPa, σв≥570MPa, impact strength KCU-40 of at least 40 J/cm 2 ).
In cases of using the prototype method (option No. 6), double heat treatment is required to ensure a given set of mechanical properties.
30 %. The proposed method makes it possible to reduce the alloying of steel with expensive materials (in particular niobium). Also, double heat treatment of rolled metal is eliminated, which allows reducing the utilization of thermal capacities (thus increasing productivity) and reducing energy costs. The total reduction in the cost of producing strips using the claimed method is more than 30%.
