Description
The present invention relates to a device for ventilation of premises and simultaneous cooling and/or heating of the room air, according to the preamble.
Previously known ventilation and cooling/heating devices intended for ceiling mounting of the free-hanging type, which are thus completely mounted completely under the suspended ceiling, and are not, as in other ceiling-mounted similar devices, completely or partially embedded in the inner ceiling, are subject to a number of disadvantages. As the air intake is arranged for constriction above in these free-hanging baffles, which requires circulation openings of 50 to 100 mm between ceiling and baffle, and the outflow occurs in the lower part, this arrangement requires it to be high below the ceiling in the room so as not to cause unnecessary draft problems . Another disadvantage is that the blowing out of warm/cooled room air cannot take place along or near the intake, which is partly desired for flow engineering reasons and partly gives the least possible draft feeling in the room. In known free-hanging devices, the exhaust must therefore take place in the lower part of the device, just like the known devices intended for recessed mounting. This in turn causes a further disadvantage, namely that the outgoing treated air will cross the room air which is sucked into the device from above. In the recessed devices, the problem of getting the outflow close to or along the inner ceiling is therefore solved simply through the recessed mounting, so that the lower part of the device coincides with or lies close to the level of the intake. Here, for example, reference can be made to the devices described in our previous publications EP-B-0692084, EP-A-0857223 and in the applications SE-A-9802215-5, SE-A-9802216-3 and SE-A-9900214 -9, which devices thus all make it possible to blow out the treated air into the room close to and along the inner ceiling of the room.
The purpose of the invention is to achieve an improved roof mounting device of the type indicated at the outset with a free-hanging baffle without the disadvantages that such have previously been afflicted with. The device according to the invention thus offers a smaller building height than with previously known free-hanging baffles, while the blowing out of treated air takes place close to and along the inner ceiling. Even the implied problem of cross currents is completely avoided. With the present invention, it is possible to further reduce the building height through the fact that instead of one primary air duct, two primary air ducts are arranged, each of which can therefore be manufactured with a smaller cross-sectional area.
This is achieved with the device according to the invention as defined by the features listed in the claims.
Some of the significant advantages achieved through the invention in relation to previously known free-hanging constructions can be summarized according to the following: Circulation air (hot) is here completely separated from the mixture circulation/primary air (cold). Previously known free-hanging devices cause problems with a certain "short circuit", as drawn in hot circulation air flowing upwards along the vertical baffle must pass (cross) horizontally blown cold primary air / circulation air mixture from the vertical side of the baffle. A lower building height is necessary, as the baffle can advantageously be mounted close to the ceiling. The throw lengths for blown out treated air mixed with primary air are extended due to the fact that the blowing out of the air mixture can be done outside and directly adjacent to the ceiling. Extended roof lengths increase the mixing of room air, which means less risk of fatigue and better utilization of roofs and walls.
In the following, the invention will be described in more detail with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings. In SE-A-9900214-9, the principle advantages of the invention compared with prior art are described in detail, and therefore these shall not be described in more detail here. Figures 1-4 show schematic sketches of four different preferred embodiments of the invention, whereby figures 1-2 show devices with two triangular primary air ducts and a battery standing arranged parallel to the inner ceiling next to each primary air duct, and figures 3-4 show different variants that may be relevant with a single battery lying arranged between both primary air ducts.
Figures 1 and 2 show a device according to the invention with a free-hanging baffle 6 seen in section, which baffle 6 has a top part 8 and a bottom part 9 and is arranged near an inner ceiling 10, and which baffle has two longitudinal primary air channels 11, 11' and two batteries 12 for cooling/heating room air. Between each battery 12 and adjacent primary air duct 11, 11' there are mixing chambers 13 with outlet openings 15, which chambers 13 are intended for mixing primary air supplied through the device 17 on the primary air ducts and through the induction effect of this primary air sucked in room air that passes the respective battery 12 and is thus cooled or heated depending on the predetermined function of the device. Below and between the batteries 12, a distribution chamber 19 is indicated where the room air is distributed over each entire battery 12 before it passes through them. When using the device, primary air is supplied through the channels 11, 11' with such energy that through induction, i.e. created negative pressure in the mixing chambers 13, it will suck in room air from below in the baffle 6, as the arrows 20 show. This room air is further sucked horizontally in different directions through the respective battery 12 and associated mixing chambers 13, where it meets and mixes with primary air supplied through the device 17 which can be designed as nozzles 17, slits 17' or the like. The thus pretreated and mixed air is blown out through the openings 15 near the inner ceiling 10 and in a horizontal direction as shown by the arrows 21.
All devices according to figures 1-4 have a baffle 6, batteries 12 for cooling/heating, mixing chamber 13, primary air supply device 17, outlet openings 15 and distribution chamber 19. Common to the embodiments according to the invention is that the mixing chambers 13 are arranged next to or slightly above the batteries 12 , while the distribution chambers are arranged between or below these. The primary air supply means 17, 17' are further arranged on mutually opposite triangular primary air channels 11, 11'. The triangular shape of the channels essentially corresponds to a right-angled triangle, and the channels are oriented with the hypotenuses facing each other and so that the catheters form vertical and horizontal sides of the baffle 6. The nozzles 17 or slits 17' are thus arranged near the underside of the baffle 6 and directed in such a way way that air supplied through these flows upwards outside the channels' hypotenuses or inclined walls 22 in the direction of the outlet openings 15. This creates the necessary negative pressure for the room air 20 to be sucked in via the distribution chamber 19 and through the respective battery or batteries to the mixing chambers 13 to be mixed there with primary air, and finally, as the arrows show, flow out through the outlet openings 15 on the underside of the inner ceiling 10.
According to the invention, the room air can be taken into the distribution chamber 19 through its bottom part 9 being designed as a perforated plate, a grid or through one or more slits. This is shown with a broken line in the figures.
The baffle 6 can be placed close to the inner ceiling, which is indicated in figures 1,2 and 4, or free-hanging as shown in figure 3. In the case where the baffle 6 is placed close to the inner ceiling, the upper part of the mixing chambers can advantageously be made up of the inner ceiling 10. The baffle 6 can also include a separate upper part 24, which is necessary in the case of a free-hanging design, but can also occur in baffles intended to be placed close to the ceiling. In the embodiments according to Figures 1 and 2, two batteries 12 are placed vertically at the respective primary air ducts 11, 11' inclined or inclined sides. The inlet and outlet sides of the batteries are thus vertically oriented, which means that the outlet sides of the batteries constitute a vertical boundary of respective mixing chambers 13, while their inlet sides in the vertical direction delimit a distribution chamber 19 between each other.
In the embodiments according to figures 3 and 4, which have a single horizontal battery, i.e. with the inlet and outlet sides oriented horizontally, the mixing chambers 13 merge into each other on the upper side of the battery, while the distribution chamber is placed between the underside of the battery (inlet side) and the bottom part 9 of the baffle.
Although the embodiment according to Figure 1 shows primary air supply means in the form of nozzles 17 and the embodiments according to Figures 2-4 with slits 17', of course the nozzles can be applied to the embodiments according to Figures 2-4 and vice versa. Likewise, the baffle 6 on the embodiments according to Figures 1, 2 and 4 can have such an upper part 24 as shown in the embodiment according to Figure 3.
Through the fact that the device according to the invention has two primary air channels, it is possible to achieve the necessary flow capacity with a baffle height of less than 100 mm.
