Abstract

A parallel-flow heat exchanger (50) is provided with two vertical header pipes (51, 52) disposed in parallel across gap, and a plurality of horizon flat tubes (53) for connecting the header pipes. A water tank (60) parallel with the flat tubes is formed in the top part of the heat exchanger, and water dropped down from a water conduit hole (61) formed in the water tank flows down along the surface of the heat exchanger. A plurality of water conduit holes are disposed at determined intervals along the length direction of the water tank. Among corrugated fins (55) attached to the flat tubes, a side sheet (56a) attached to the most highly positioned corrugated fin is formed as a water tank. (Fig. 4)
