Abstract
Se proporciona un molde segmentado (10) de division en el centro para vulcanizar una llanta competa comprendiendo una parte superior (16) del contenedor del molde que contiene una placa (20) de pared lateral del molde superior y una pluralidad de los segmentos de estrías superiores (18) dispuestos generalmente equidistantes desde un eje central y apoyándose en forma adyacentes de uno respecto al otro el molde está en una posicion cerrada; y una parte inferior (22) del contenedor del molde que contiene una placa (26) de pared lateral del molde inferior y una pluralidad (24) de segmentos de estrías inferiores dispuestos generalmente equidistantes desde el eje y que se apoyan en forma adyacente uno respecto del otro cuando el molde está en una posicion cerrada. Cada uno de los segmentos de estrías superior e inferior son desviados elásticamente hacia la línea de centro (CL) del molde mediante mecanismos de resorte (38), y se acoplan deslizablemente a las superficies (76, 78) de cono sin punta respectivas de contenedor del molde, de manera que el movimiento vertical de al parte superior del contenedor del molde a lo largo del eje desde una posicion cerrada a una posicion abierta se traduce en el movimiento radial hacia afuera de los segmentos de estrías superior e inferior en alojamiento desde el eje. Los segmentos (84) de estrías superior e inferior coinciden cuando el molde está en la posicion cerrada en un plano que puede estar desfasado desde la línea de centro (CL) del molde. La placa de pared lateral del molde superior coincide con los segmentos de estrías superiores y la placa de pared lateral del molde inferior coincide con los segmentos de estrías inferiores en las juntas (72, 74) de asentamiento respectivas que limitan el movimiento radial hacia adentro de los segmentos de estrías superior e inferior hacia el eje. Los montajes de pasador (38) para cada segmento de estrías limitan el movimiento radial hacia afuera de los segmentos de estrías en alojamiento desde el eje.
