Se provee un procedimiento para producir un L-aminoácido con buena eficiencia mediante fermentacion; un ADN que codifica la aspartoquinasa III derivada de bacterias del género Escherichia y que sufre mutacion por la cual se libera la exhibicion por realimentacion con L-lisina, se introduce en células para forma bacterias transformantes del género Escherichia, y estas bacterias se incuban en un medio de cultivo apropiado; un L-aminoácido se produce y se acumula en el cultivo, y se recoge a partir de este cultivo.
