Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un procedimiento y a un dispositivo para el funcionamiento de un horno de arco eléctrico de doble recipiente para la fabricacion de acero con la aplicacion de hierro en bruto fluido hasta una fraccion del 70% de la carga metálica donde uno de los dos recipientes de horno I, II, aquí recipiente de horno (2), durante el curso del procedimiento se separa de la red eléctrica mientras que el segundo recipiente (1) permanece en la red de corriente eléctrica. El procedimiento de acuerdo con la presente invencion se realiza simultáneamente en ambos recipientes de horno I, II en donde el ejemplo de realizacion se trabaja o elabora en el recipiente de horno (2) después de la fase convertidor/BOF para afinamiento del hierro en bruto fluido con oxígeno a través de una lanza de soplado (14, 15, 16) con la adicion simultánea de espuma de hierro/medios enfriadores y cal. En el recipiente de horno I se desarrolla la fase del horno de arco eléctrico EAF en donde se funde el resto de la espuma de hierro y del agente de enfriamiento bajo una cantidad reducida de oxígeno existiendo mayor suministro de cal y carbon. Los electrodos dispuestos sobre un dispositivo basculante son basculables a voluntad hacia el recipiente de horno I o el II. Ambas tapas del horno (4, 5) pueden, estando los electrodos (3) batidos, cerrarse por una tapa adicional (13) durante el soplado de oxígeno a través del soplado de la lanza (14). La tapa adicional o tapas se ponen por medio de un dispositivo portador (17) ya sea sobre la tapa de horno (4) o la (5).
