Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un recubrimiento de (AI,Ti)N que exhibe por lo menos dos diferentes porciones de recubrimiento, A y B, que tienen un tamaño de grano en el orden de magnitud nanométrica caracterizado porque la porción de recubrimiento A exhibe un tamaño de grano más grande y un mayor módulo elástico que la porción de recubrimiento B. La presente invención también se relaciona con un método para recubrir un sustrato con un recubrimiento tal como se describió anteriormente por lo cual por lo menos la porción de recubrimiento A y/o la porción de recubrimiento B del recubrimiento de (AI,Ti)N se depositan por medio de las técnicas de PVD.
