Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un sistema [200] para la estimulación del nervio trigeminal para el tratamiento de una alteración neuropsiquiátrica, el sistema está caracterizado porque comprende: un generador de pulsos [122] y un conjunto de electrodos cutáneo [100] en comunicación eléctrica con el generador de pulsos, el conjunto comprende: un primer electrodo que comprende por lo menos un contacto [112] configurado para colocación cutánea directamente sobre o adyacente al nervio supraorbital en un lado de la frente del paciente, y un segundo electrodo que comprende por lo menos un contacto [112] configurado para colocación cutánea directamente sobre o adyacente al nervio supraorbital restante en un lado de la frente del paciente.
