Abstract
Un proceso para producir alfaolefinas que comprende poner en contacto una alimentación de etileno con un sistema catalizador de oligomerización en una zona de reacción de oligomerización en condiciones de reacción de oligomerización para producir una corriente de producto que comprende alfaolefinas en donde el sistema catalítico comprende un complejo hierro-ligando y un cocatalizador y la relación molar de oxígeno a hierro que se alimenta a la zona de reacción de oligomerización de 1:1 a 200:1. Alternativamente, la relación molar de oxígeno a aluminio en MMAO que se alimenta a la zona de reacción de oligomerización es menor de 1:5.
