Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a un proceso de polimerización en solución continua mejorado en el que se incrementa la velocidad de producción. Solvente de proceso, etileno, monómeros opcionales, hidrógeno opcional y una formulación de catalizador de metaloceno puenteada se inyectan en un primer reactor para formar un primer interpolímero de etileno. Opcionalmente, el solvente de proceso, etileno, monómeros opcionales, hidrógeno opcional y una formulación de catalizador de metaloceno puenteada se inyectan en un segundo reactor formado un segundo interpolímero de etileno. El primero y segundo reactores pueden configurarse en modos de operación en serie o en paralelo. Opcionalmente, se forma un tercer interpolímero de etileno en un tercer reactor, en donde se emplea una formulación de catalizador homogénea o una formulación de catalizador heterogénea. En solución, el primer, el segundo y el tercer interpolímeros de etileno opcionales se combinan, el catalizador se desactiva, la solución se pasiva opcionalmente y después de un proceso de separación de fases se recupera un producto de interpolímero de etileno.
