Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un cristal de vidrio compuesto con al menos un orificio pasante 4, que comprende un primer cristal 1, un segundo cristal 2 y al menos una capa polimérica intermedia 3 entre el primer y segundo cristal, donde el orificio pasante se forma por medio de un orificio 5 en el primer cristal, un orificio 6 en la capa polimérica intermedia 3 y un orificio 7 en el segundo cristal, caracterizado porque el orificio 5 en el primer cristal 1 es un orificio biselado 5 que tiene un bisel en cada caso sobre ambos lados del primer cristal 1 y el orificio 7 en el segundo cristal 2 es un orificio biselado 7 que tiene un bisel en cada caso sobre ambos lados del segundo cristal 2. Juntos, los orificios biselados tienen un efecto estabilizador sobre el cristal de vidrio compuesto. Durante la producción de los cristales de vidrio compuestos, el porcentaje de ruptura se reduce significativamente en comparación a la producción de cristales de vidrio compuestos con orificios pasantes convencionales sin un bisel.
