Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un reactor nuclear (1) que comprende un tanque (2) cerrado en la parte superior mediante una estructura de cierre fija radialmente externa (3) y por una estructura de cierre móvil radialmente interna (4) y que contiene un núcleo (5), sumergido en un fluido de enfriamiento primario (F) y que comprende elementos combustibles (11) y varillas de control y de apagado (18), y una estructura hidráulica de separación (6) que delimita un colector caliente (7) y un colector frío (8), en el cual circula el fluido primario (F); las varillas de control (18a) y las varillas de apagado (18b, 18c) se insertan en las penetraciones (19a, 19b, 19c) respectivas de la estructura de cierre fija (3), y se localizan por lo tanto, radialmente externas a la estructura de cierre móvil (4), y externas a una porción superior (17) de la estructura de separación (6) que contiene los cabezales (15) respectivos de los elementos combustibles (12).
