Abstract
La presente invención se extiende a métodos, sistemas y productos de programa informático para detectar riesgos antes de abrir puertas de vehículos. Se pueden usar sensores de vehículo (por ejemplo, cámaras retrovisoras) para detectar y clasifica el tráfico, por ejemplo, como peatones, ciclistas, monopatinadores, patinadores, sillas de ruedas, etc., que se aproximan a un costado de un vehículo. Cuando existe la posibilidad de que un ocupante del vehículo abre una puerta ante el tráfico que se aproxima, se puede emitir una advertencia en la cabina del vehículo para alertar a los ocupantes del vehículo sobre el tráfico que se aproxima. En un aspecto, el vehículo evita que se abra una puerta si la acción de abrir la puerta podría probablemente provocar un accidente.
