Abstract

Se proporciona un aparato y un método para detectar múltiples piezas de trabajo. La presente invención proporciona un adaptador de montaje conectado a un dispositivo de acoplamiento de pieza de trabajo para acoplar y manipular una pieza de trabajo. Un cuerpo celular se conecta al adaptador de montaje, y el cuerpo celular tiene un acelerómetro dispuesto en el mismo para medir y señalar el valor de aceleración de la pieza de trabajo. Una celda de carga se conecta al cuerpo celular y puede conectarse a un manipulador, en donde la celda de carga mide y señala un valor de carga de la pieza de trabajo. Un procesador de computadora recibe el valor de aceleración y el valor de carga de la pieza de trabajo para determinar la masa de la pieza de trabajo y determinar si existen múltiples piezas de trabajo acopladas por el dispositivo de acoplamiento de pieza de trabajo.
