Abstract
um aparelho e um método são providos para detectar múltiplas peças de trabalho. a presente invenção provê um adaptador de montagem conectado a um dispositivo de engate de peça de trabalho para engatar e manipular uma peça de trabalho. um corpo de célula é conectado ao adaptador de montagem, e o corpo de célula tem um acelerômetro disposto no mesmo para medir e sinalizar um valor de aceleração da peça de trabalho. uma célula de carga é conectada ao corpo de célula e é conectável a um manipulador, em que a célula de carga mede e sinaliza um valor de carga da peça de trabalho. um processador de computador recebe o valor de aceleração e o valor de carga da peça de trabalho para determinar a massa da peça de trabalho e determinar se há múltiplas peças de trabalho engatadas pelo dispositivo de engate de peça de trabalho.
