Abstract

Se revelan ß-aminoácidos ß-sustituidos, derivados de ß-aminoácido ß-sustituido y análogos y bioisósteros de ß-aminoácido ß-sustituido y su uso como agentes quimioterapéuticos. Los derivados de ß-aminoácido ß-sustituido y los análogos y bioisósteros de ß-aminoácido ß-sustituido son sustratos selectivos de LAT1/4F2hc y exhiben una rápida incorporación y retención en tumores que expresan el transportador de LAT1/4F2hc. También se revelan métodos de síntesis de los derivados de ß-aminoácido ß-sustituido y análogos de ß-aminoácido ß-sustituido, y métodos de uso de los compuestos para tratar el cáncer. Los derivados de ß-aminoácido ß-sustituido y análogos de ß-aminoácido ß-sustituido exhiben incorporación selectiva en células de tumor que expresan el transportador de LAT1/4F2hc y se acumulan en las células cancerosas cuando se le administran a un sujeto in vivo.
