Abstract

Se describe un procedimiento y un dispositivo para la fabricación de polvo de metal o polvo de aleación un tamaño medio de partícula inferior a 10 µm, que consiste en o que contiene al menos uno de los metales reactivos circonio, titanio o hafnio, mediante la reducción metalotérmica de óxidos o halogenuros de los metales reactivos citados con la ayuda de un metal de reducción, por lo que el polvo de metal o polvo de aleación se flegmatiza - añadiendo un gas pasivante o una mezcla de gases durante y/o después de la reducción de los óxidos o halogenuros y/o - añadiendo una sustancia sólida pasivante antes de la reducción de los óxidos o halogenuros, realizándose la reducción así como la flegmatización en un único recipiente de reacción que es estanco a los gases y que puede vaciarse.
