Abstract
La invención se relaciona con un método para revestir un elemento de enfriamiento (1) hecho principalmente de cobre, provisto con tuberías (2) de agua de enfriamiento y usado particularmente en relación con hornos metalúrgicos o similares, en donde el elemento de enfriamiento incluye una superficie de fuego (3) que está en contacto con metal fundido, gases de proceso o suspensión; superficies laterales (6) y una superficie exterior (7), de forma que cuando menos parte de la superficie de fuego (3) es revestida por un recubrimiento resistente a la corrosión (5).
