Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un fusible en subminiatura, el cual incluye: Un alojamiento que tiene el mismo dis cámaras de extinción de arco adaptadas para extinguir el arco, y un pequeño orificio que comunica a estas dos cámaras de extinción de arco una con la otra; un par de miembros de terminales conductoras asegurados al alojamiento, y que tienen porciones de extremo opuestas, extendiéndose las porciones de extremo del par de miembros de terminal hacia fuera desde la cara externa del alojamiento, para definir las porciones de conexión externas que se van a conectar con un circuito eléctrico externo, y extendiéndose las otras porciones de extremo del par de miembros de terminal respectivamente hacia dentro de las dos cámaras de extinción de arco del alojamiento; y un elemento fusible que tiene porciones de extremo opuestas, que se extiende a través del pequeño orificio provisto en el alojamiento, siendo las porciones de extremo opuestas del elemento fusible conectadas de una manera eléctrica y mecánica, respectivamente con las otras porciones de extremo del par de miembros de terminal; por lo que se puede romper el circuito extinguiendo el arco sin utilizar material de extinción de arco, y se puede reducir la variación de la característica de rompimiento del fusible.
