Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la preparación de una mezcla de hidrocarburos que tiene un ECR de a por ciento en peso y un punto de ebullición inicial de T1 grados C, caracterizado en que una mezcla de hidrocarburos que contiene asfaltenos se somete a un hidrotratamiento catalítico para reducir su ECR, separándose el producto obtenido por destilación en un destilado atmosferico y un residuo atmosférico que tiene un punto de ebullición inicial de T1 grados C, que o bien se obtiene un residuo atmosférico desasfaltado que tiene el ECR deseado de a por ciento en peso.
