Abstract

스파크 플러그는 중심전극(3)과, 중심전극(3)의 외부에 비치된 절연체(2)와, 중심 전극(3)이 한 단부로 부터 돌출하는 방식으로 절연체(2)의 외부에 배치된 주요 금속 부품(1)과, 한 단부에서 중요 금속 부품(1)에 연결되고 중심 전극(3)에 면하도록 배치된 다른 단부를 갖는 접지 전극(4)과, 중심 전극(3) 또는 접지 전극(4)중의 하나 또는 둘다 모두에 고정되어 스파크 방전 공극(g)을 형성하는 칩을 구비한다.
칩은 이리듐을 기본으로 하고 3wt% 내지 50wt% 범위(50wt%는 포함 안됨)의 양의 Rh를 함유하는 금속으로 만들어진다.

Claims (4)

  1. 중심 전극(3)과, 상기 중심전극(3)의 외부에 배치된 절연(2)와, 한 단부에서 상기 주요 금속 부품(1)에 연결되고, 상기 중심 전극(3)에 면하도록 배치된 다른 단부를 갖는 접지 전극(4)과, 스파크 방전 공극(g)을 형성하기 위해 상기 중심 전극(3)과 상기 접지 전극(4)의 하나 이상에 고정되는 점화부(31,32)를 구비하며, 상기 점화부(31, 32)는 이리듐을 기본으로 하고 3wt% 내지 50wt% 범위(50wt%는 포함 안됨)의 양의 Rh 를 함유하는 합금으로 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 스파크 플러그.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 점화부(31, 32)의 합금은 7wt% 내지 30wt% 범위의 양의 Rh를 함유하여 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 스파크 플러그.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 점화부(31, 32)의 합금은 15wt%내지 25wt% 범위의 양의 Rh를 함유하여 만들어지는 특징으로 하는 스파크 플러그,
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 점화부(31, 32)의 합금은 18wt% 내지 22wt% 범위의 양의 Rh를 함유하여 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 스파크 플러그.
