Abstract
유체 커플링(32)이 케이싱 토출구(78)을 통해 유압펌프(48)에 의해 케이싱 흡입구(58)로부터의 퍼올림을 조절하여 두 회전부재들 간의 커플링을 조절하게 되는 조절 밸브(80)을 포함하고 있다. 케이싱(34)은 회전부재들중의 하나에 접속돼 있는 한편, 다섯에서 일곱 사이의 외치를 가진 임펠러(50)가 타 회전부재에 접속되어 임펠러 이의 수보다 하나 더 많은 내치 링 기어와 맞물려 있어 충분한 퍼올림 용량을 제공하게 되므로 펌프는 브레이크로서 작용할 수 있는 한편, 그럼에도 비교적 일정한 퍼올림 압력을 가진다. 조절 밸브(80)는 온도 변화를 보상하는 바이메탈 밸브 기소(82)를 포함하고 있고 또 일정 속도 이상으로 늦어짐이 없어 즉각적인 커플링을 제공하기 위하여 속도 감각 밸브 마개(104)ㄹㄹ 또한 포함시킬 수도 있다. 리세스(98) 내측에 조절 밸브(80)의 바이 메탈 밸브 기소(82)를 장착하여 온도 보상의 정확한 조절을 제공하고 있다.

제2도는 제1도의 2-2선의 방향에 따라 그린 단면도이며, 일곱 이를 가진 내치 링 치차와 맞문 여섯 이를 가진 임펠러를 가지어 펌프를 브레이크로 작용하게 하는 한편 그럼에도 유체 압력 파동없이 연합 클러치의 작동을 돕는 비교적 일정한 퍼올림 압력을 가지는 펌프 작용을 제공하게 되는 펌프의 그림

Claims (13)
- 회전축선 둘레의 한쌍의 회전부재를 회전하게 연결하기 위해 유압유를 그의 하우징 내측에 함유하는, 자동차 구동렬로 사용하는 유체 커플링으로서 하우징 안에서 회전축선 둘레에 회전할 수 있고 회전부재들 중의 하나에 접속된 중공의 구조의 케이싱; 회전축선을 따라 그 케이싱 대측에 위치되고 타 회전부재에 회전하게 접속되고 또 다섯에서 입곱 사이의 외치를 가진 임펠러를 포함하는 유합펌프; 그 유체 펌프는 이를 낸 임펠러에 관하여 편심으로 회전하는 케이싱에 의해 장착된 내치 링 기어를 포함하고 임펠러 이 보다 수가 하나 더 많아 그들과 맞물고 있는 내치를 포함하여 그 케이싱과 그 이를 낸 임펠러 간의 상대적 회전에 있어 퍼올리는 작용을 제공하게 되고;그 펌프에 의해 케이싱 안으로 작동유가 통해 퍼올려지는 흡입구; 퍼올려진 유체가 통해 흐르는 토출고; 및 퍼올려진 유체가 소정의 압력에 도달하는 경우 그 토출구를 닫아 임펠러를 내치 링 기어와 또 그에 의해 회전부재의,쌍을 상호에 회전하게 연결하게 되는 조절 밸브로 이루어지는 유체 커플링.
- 제1항에 있어서, 조절 밸브는, 일 단이 토출구에서 떨어져 있는 상태에 장착되고 타 단이 토출구로부터 사이띄인 열린 위치와 토출구를 닫는 닫힌 위치 사이를 이동할 수 있는 금속 조각 밸브 기소를 포함하고 있는 유체 커플링.
- 제2항에 있어서, 냉각되는 때의 냉각에 있어 토출구로부터 떨어져 이동하여서 밸브 닫음이 유압유가 가열되고 냉각되는 때의 점도 변화를 보상하는 바이메틸 식인 유체 커플링.
- 제3항에 있어서 토출구가 밸브 기소에 의해 닫혀지는 주 통로와 밸브 기소가 닫힌채 유압유를 유출하는 유출 통로를 포함하고 있는 유체 커플링.
- 제4항에 있어서 일 단이 밸브 기소의 일 단이 장작돼 있고 타 단이 토출구의 주 통로와 유출 통로가 위치돼 있는 가늘고 긴 마운팅 리세스를 더 포함하는 유체 커를링.
- 제3항에 있어서, 케이싱의 소정 속도 이상의 회전에 있어 밸브 기소를 닫힌 위치에 이동시키는 밸브 마개를 더 함유하는 유체 커플링.
- 제6항에 있어서, 밸브 마개는 그의 마운팅을 제공하는 추축 접속을 함유하고 있고 케이싱의 소정 속도 이상의 회전에 있어 밸브 기소를 토출구에 관해 닫힌 위치에 이동시키는 작동부를 토한 포함하는 유체 커플링.
