Abstract

본 발명의 원통형 또는 관형 구조의 가스 발생기는 전기적으로 작동가능한 점화기에 의해서 연소실 내에서 점화하기 위한 고체의 추진 연료 또는 고체 연료를 포함하고 있고, 에어백과 같은 보호 수단을 팽창시키도록 발생가스가 누출되기 전에 이러한 발생가스를 냉각시키고 여과시키기 위한 필터수단을 갖추고 있으며, 이러한 가스 발생기의 구조는 (a) 한쪽면의 단부가 개방되어 있고, 다른 한쪽면의 단부에는 전기 접점을 갖춘 중앙의 점화기와 주변부의 고정용 센터링이 갖추어져 있는 연소실 실린더와, (b) 연소실 실린더의 안쪽으로 밀어넣을 수 있고, 스트립 형상을 하고 있으며, 특히 생성가스를 여과 및 냉각시킬 수 있고, 그리고 이 연소실 실린더의 주변부 중의 일부구역내의 구멍들을 덮고 있는 미리 조립되어 있는 필터와, 고리고 (c)연소실 실린더를 둘러싸고 있고(동심원 형으로). 가스 방출구를 갖춘 박판으로 제조되어 있는 바깥쪽 하우징내에 고정되어 있으며, 이러한 폐쇄된 단부벽상에 장착되어 있는 고정용 센터링의 사이에서 이 연소실 실린더의 주변부와 면의 단부에 단단하게 고정되어 있고, 그리고 관형의 필터를 갖춘 연결부의 돌출부가 갖추어진 덮개 위에 고정되어 있는 관형의 제2필터로 이루어져 있다.

Claims (9)

  1. 전기적으로 작동가능한 점화기에 의해서 연소실내의 고체 추진 연료 또는 고체 연료를 점화시키며, 에어백과 같은 보호수단을 부풀리도록 가스를 배출하기 전에 상기 생성 가스를 냉각하고 여과하기 위한 필터수단을 갖추고 있는 원퉁형 또는 관형 구조의 가스 발생기에 있어서, (a) 한쪽면의 단부가 개방되어 있고, 다른 한쪽면의 단부는 중앙에 점화기가 설치되어 있고 주변부에는 고정용 센터링이 설치되어 있는 연소실 실린더와, (b) 상기 연소실 실런더 쪽으로 밀어넣을 수 있고, 상기 생성가스를 냉각하고 여과시키며, 스트립의 형상을 하고 있고, 그리고 상기 연소실 실런더와 상기 주변부중의 일부 구역내의 구멍들을 덮고 있는 미리 조립되어 있는 필터와, 그리고 (c) 상기 연소실 실린더를 둘러싸고 있고, (동심원형으로) 가스 방출구를 갖춘 박판으로 제조된 바깥쪽 하우징내에 고정되어 있으며, 상기 다른 한쪽면의 폐쇄된 단부벽에 장착되어 있는 상기 고정용 센터링의 사이에서 상기 연소실 실린더의 주 변부와 면의 단부에 단단하게 고정되어 있고. 그리고 관형의 필터를 갖춘 연결부의 돌출부가 구비된 뎌ㅍ개상에 고정되어 있는 미리 조립되어 있는 관형의 제2필터로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 가스 발생기.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고정용 센터링이 박판으로 제조되어 있고, 바람직하게 디스크 형태의 강판으로 제조되어 있으며, 상기 가스 통로 구멍에 대한 소정의 위치에서 바깥쪽 하우징과 일체로 조립되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 발생기.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 미리 조립되어 있는 충전요소가 바람직하게 탄성의 플라스틱 재료로 제조되어 있고, 상기 덮개에 제공되어서 상기 연소실의 안쪽으로 향해 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 발생기
  4. 제3항에 있어서. 상기 연소실 실린더의 폐쇄된 면의 단부에 제공되어 있는 장착부시안에 상기 점화기를 삽입시킬 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 발생기.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 점화기에 냉간 충격의 프레스 성형 가공에 의해서 알루미늄 합금으로 제조된 중앙의 장착 수단내에 삽입하기 위한 슬리브가 갖추어져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 발생기.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 장착수단내에 전력을 공급하기 위한 전기 점화기와 전기 접점 또는 컨덕터가 포함되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 발생기.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 종단면에서 관찰했을 때 상기 점화기의 슬리브가 동심원의 형상을 이루고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 발생기.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 점화기의 슬리브면의 단부에 결합된 폭발용 격막이 제공되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 발생기.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 연소실 실린더를 둘러싸고 있는 제2필터가 반경 방향으로 가스를 재유출시키기 위한 안내판을 갖춘 관형의 부재위에 고정되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 발생기.
