Claims (12)
- 크랭크 샤프트를 구동하기 위해 상기 실린더내에서 왕복이동 가능한 피스톤 및 커넥팅 로드 수단을 각각 갖는 복수의 실린더가 내부에 설치된 실린더 블록을 구비하고, 또한 상기 실린더중의 하나에 각각 결합되는 복수개의 연소실 구역을 갖춘 하나 또는 그 이상의 실린더 헤드를 포함하며, 상기 각 연소실 구역은 연소실 구역속으로의 연료/공기 주입유량을 조절하는 하나 또는 그 이상의 흡기 밸브 수단과 그로부터 나오는 배기가스의 유동을 조절하는 배기 밸브 수단 및 기관의 부분 교축 동작 중 배기밸브 수단의 개방도를 감소시켜주는 수단을 포함하는 개량된 흡기 및 배기 밸브 작동수단을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 왕복형 내연기관의 배열.
- 내연기관의 각 실린더와 결합되기 적합한 복수개의 연소실 구역을 포함하며, 상기 각 연소실 구역은 연소실 구역속으로의 연료/공기 주입용량을 조절하는 하나 또는 그 이상의 흡기 밸브 수단과 그로부터 나온 배기가스의 유동을 조절하는 배기 밸브 수단 및 기관의 부분 교축 동작중 배기 밸브 수단의 개방도를 감소시키는 수단을 포함하는 개량된 흡기 및 배기 밸브 작동 수단이 함께 합체되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 왕복형 내연기관의 실린더 헤드 배열.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 흡기 및 배기 밸브 수단은 상기 연소실 구역 상부에 위치된 록커 시프트상에 지지된 록커부재에 의해 작동되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배열.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 각 배기 밸브 수단을 작동하는 록커 부재는 제 1록커 부재와 제 2록커부재로 구성되며, 제 2록커부재의 한 단부는 배기 밸브 수단에 작동적으로 연합되고 다른 단부는 조정가능한 지레에 대해 피봇하도록 배치되고, 제 1록커 부재는 상기 록커 샤프트상에 피봇되어 그 둘레를 시차적 순서로 회전되며, 제 1록커 부재의 한 단부는 제 2록커 부재에 결합하여 제2록커 부재가 상기 조정가능한 지레를 중심으로 피봇되게 한 것을 특징으로 하는 배열.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 연소실 구역과 합체된 피스톤이 오버런 구동중 압축 행정시에 상사점에 도달할 때 각 연소실 구역에 대해 배기 밸브 수단을 순간적으로 개방해 주는 수단을 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배열.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 조정가능한 지레의 높이를 순간적으로 변경해 주기 위한 수단을 또한 포함하므로써, 연소실 구역에 합체된 피스톤이 오버런 구동중 압축행정시에 상사점에 도달할 때 상기 제 2록커 부재가 배기 밸브 수단을 순간적으로 개방해 주기 위해 작용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배열.
- 제 1항 내지 제 6항중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 캠 샤프트로부터 상기 각 연소실 구역에 대한 상기 흡기 및 배기 밸브 작동 수단까지 연장하는 푸쉬로드 조립체를 포함하며, 상기 푸쉬로드 조립체는 슬라이딩 코넥터에 의해 분리된 적어도 두 개의 부품을 갖고, 상기 각 푸쉬로드 부품은 한 단부가 그 양쪽에서 상기 슬라이딩 커넥터와 피봇적으로 결합되며, 상기 슬라이딩 커넥터는 기관작동중 기관 실린더 헤드내의 가이드내를 미끄러지도록 된 외측면을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 배열.
- 제 1항 내지 제 2항에 다른 배열을 포함하며, 연소실 구역으로부터 인도되는 각 배기 통로와 동축으로 실린더 헤드에 고정되는 배기 스퍼브 부재와, 상기 배기 스터브 부재에 연결되어 배기 가스를 통상의 방출 파이프에 안내해 주게 되어 있는 배기 매니폴드를 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기관.
- 제 1항 내지 제 8항 중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 실린더 헤드는 상기 연소실 구역과 결합하게 되어 있는 실린더의 종축에 대해 예각으로 상기 각 연소실 구역에 인도되는 흡기 통로 수단과, 상기 각 연소실 구역으로부터 안내되어 실리더 헤드의 측벽으로 통해 빠져나가는 배기 통로 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배열.
- 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 두 개의 흡입 통로 수단과 하나의 배기 통로 수단이 상기 각 연소실 구역에 대해 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배열.
- 제 10항에 있어서, 흡기 통로 수단과 배기 통로 수단이 그들의 실제 길이 부분에 걸쳐 정사각형 또는 직사각형 단면을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 배열.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 분리된 흡기 및 배기 밸브 록커 샤프트는 그들의 외측단이 각각 록커 박스의 단부벽내의 구멍 및 실린더 해드 상부 모서리와 상기 록커박스 하부 모시리 사이의 반쪽 구멍에 지탱되고, 그들의 내측단이 각각 중간 웨브와 거기에 부착된 장착 블록사이의 반쪽 구멍 및 상기 장착 블록내의 구멍에 지탱되도록 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 배열.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
