상기에서 설명한 바와 같이 워시-오프(wash-off)형의 황토 미용 팩을 제조하는 선행기술 특허는 다수가 존재하고 있지만 필-오프(wash-off)형의 황토 미용 팩에 관한 등록특허는 특허등록번호 10-0853204[문헌1] 만이 존재하나 이 또한 사용 전에 황토 팩 혼합물에 물을 부어 반죽으로 만들어 가능하면 빠른시간 내에 사용해야하는 불편함이 있다.
상기에서 설명한 바와 같이 워시-오프(wash-off)형의 황토 미용 팩을 제조하는 특허는 다수가 존재하고 있지만 이러한 특허들은 워시-오프(wash-off)형의 황토미용팩 단점인 모공으로의 미세한 황토입자의 박힘 현상, 사용 후 청소의 번거로움의 문제를 해소할 수가 없었고, 피부개선효과를 얻기 위한 필-오프(wash-off)형의 황토 미용 팩에 관한 등록특허번호 10-0853204[문헌1]은 유일하게 황토분말과 소디움알기네이트(Na-Alginate)분말 혼합물이 물과 만나 이온중합을 시킴으로써 두껍게 피막이 형성되어 떼어내는 제품을 제조하는 방법은 있었으나, 이 또한 사용 전에 황토 팩 혼합물에 물을 부어 반죽으로 만들어 사용해야하고, 피부에 바르는 시간이 지연되면 경화되어 사용을 할 수 없는 불편함이 있다.
상기에서 설명한 바와 같이 워시-오프(wash-off)형의 황토 미용 팩은 발명자 각각의 아이디어만 있으면 전문기술이 부족하여도 누구나 쉽게 제조하여 발명 효과를 누릴 수 있는 장점이 있는 반면에, 황토 미용 팩이 얼굴에 도포된 후 일정시간 후에 씻어낼 때는 모공에 들어간 미세한 황토입자가 씻겨지지 않고 그대로 남아 피부로 흡수되어 피부 트러블의 원인이 될 수도 있고, 피부를 세척한 장소의 황토 물은 청소해야하는 번거로움의 단점을 가지고 있다.
이러한 단점을 해결할 수 있는 대안이 필-오프(peel-off)형의 황토 미용 팩이다. 이는 워시오프(wash-off)형의 황토 미용 팩에 비하여 제조의 난이도가 높다. 특허등록번호 10-085324[문헌1]은 황토분말과 소디움 알기네이트(Na-Alginate)분말을 주요성분으로하며 여기에 물을 부어 반죽으로 하여 소디움 알기네이트(Na-Alginate)분말이 물과 혼합이 되면 이온중합 반응이 일어나 이온중합 특성상 속경화 되어 고무와 같은 탄성체가 되는 성질을 이용하였다. 상기 이온중합 반응이 너무 빠르게 진행되어 반응속도조절을 하기 위하여 지연제로 인산나트륨을 사용하고 있으며, 부드러움을 부여하기 위하여 연화제로 탄산나트륨을 사용하였다. 이렇게 제조된 황토분말과 소디움 알기네이트(Na-Alginate) 분말 혼합물에 물을 부어 페이스트 형상의 황토혼합물을 얼굴에 두껍게 도포한 후 일정시간 후에 떼어내는 필-오프 황토팩을 제조하여 발명의 효과로서 일반적인 황토의 효과를 제시한 바 있었다.In general, most ocher cosmetic packs are prepared in a wet form by mixing powders of various natural materials with ocher powder and mixing them with water at a certain ratio and applying liquid ingredients that can apply to the skin or nourish the skin with ocher powder. 제1공정: 황토분말의 준비단계
본 발명에서 사용된 황토분말은 황토를 채취하여 건조 및 볼밀에 의한 분쇄과정을 거쳐 325 메쉬(mesh)로 1차 분말화 하고, 325 메쉬 이상의 황토분말을 선별하여 다시 사이클론을 통과시켜 8,000 메쉬(평균 직경 1.6 마이크로미터) 망을 통과한 황토분말만을 선별하여 사용할 수 있도록 준비한다.
제2공정: 한방추출물의 준비 단계
본 발명에서는 황토영양 팩이 항균효과 및 보습효과를 나타내주는 한방재료를 선정하기 위하여 [동의보감] 등에서 추출물을 피부에 발라 상처가 나았다거나 천연보습제로 추천이 되고 있는 다양한 천연재료 중에서 문헌에 근거하여 항균효과와 보습효과가 뛰어난 백선피/어성초/은행잎/뽕나무/녹두/해초/쑥/로즈마리/알로에 등을 선정하여 9종류로 구성된 한방재료를 준비하였다.
상기 9종의 한방재료는 따로따로 정제수와 한방재료를 50/50의 비율로 혼합하여 추출조에 넣고 50℃로 48시간 이상을 진공 농축하여 추출되며, 농축된 한방추출물은 여과과정을 거쳐 황토영양 팩을 제조하는 원료로 준비한다. 상기 9종의 한방재료는 각각 추출기로 추출액을 제조한 후 이를 혼합시 균등혼합한다.
제3공정: 피막제의 최적 배합비 결정 단계
본 발명에서는 황토분말 및 한방추출물을 함유한 혼합물의 피막이 찢어지지 않는 최적의 조건을 찾기 위하여 상기 공정에서 준비한 8,000 메쉬 이상의 입도분포를 갖는 황토분말을 사용하였고, 피막제로는 점착성능이 우수하며 사람의 피부에 적용하였을 경우 해가 없는 폴리비닐알콜(PVA)과 폴리비닐피롤리돈(PVP)을 선정하였고, 황토/PVA/PVP 간의 함량비를 변화시켜가며 건조 후에 피막의 찢김을 조사하여 그 결과를 표 1에 나타내었다.

상기의 표 1.에서 보는 바와 같이 피막 찢어짐이 없는 황토분말/PVA/PVP 간의 함량비는 70/20/10으로 나타나 이를 황토 영양 팩을 제조하기 위한 피막제 함량비로 결정하였으며, 더욱 상세하게는 황토분말/PVA/PVP는 55/30/15의 함량비로 피막을 제조할 때가 최적의 결과로 나타났다.
상기 표1에서 알 수 있는 바와 같이 황토분말/PVA/PVP 간의 함량비는 70/20/10, 55/30/15, 40/40/20, 25/50/25, 10/60/30에서는 피막이 찢기지않는 것으로 나타났다.
