Description
Claims (15)
- 양측파대 변조방식의 반송파 대역 변조기와 단측파대 변조방식의 중간주파수 대역 변조기가 직렬연결된 집적형 광변조기.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 양측파대 변조방식의 반송파 대역 변조기는,주기적인 분극 반전 영역을 갖는 기판;상기 기판 상에 제 1 도파로와 제 2 도파로의 분기와 결합 구조로 형성된 제 1 광도파로부; 및상기 제 1 광도파로부 상부에 위치하는 제 1 전극부와 제 2 전극부를 포함하는 집적형 광변조기.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 제 1 도파로와 제 2 도파로는 분극 방향이 상호 반대인 집적형 광변조기.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 제 1 전극부에 반송파 주파수의 절반에 해당하는 단일 주파수 신호를 인가하고, 제 2 전극부에 DC 바이어스를 인가하여 양측파대 변조방식의 반송파 대역 변조가 가능한 집적형 광변조기.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 단측파대 변조방식의 중간주파수 대역 변조기는,분극 반전된 영역을 갖는 기판;상기 기판상에 제 3 도파로와 제 4 도파로의 분기와 결합 구조로 형성된 제 2 광도파로부; 및상기 제 2 광도파로부 상부에 위치하는 제 3 전극부를 포함하는 집적형 광변조기.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 제 4 도파로는 절반 영역이 분극 반전된 집적형 광변조기.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 제 3 전극부에 중간주파수 대역의 데이터를 인가하여 단측파대 변조방식의 중간주파수 대역 변조가 가능한 집적형 광변조기.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 제 3 전극부에 DC 바이어스를 인가하여 제 3 도파로로 진행하는 광의 지연이 가능한 집적형 광변조기.
- 분극 반전된 영역을 갖는 기판을 준비하는 단계;상기 기판상에 분기와 결합 구조를 갖는 제 1 광도파로부와 제 2 광도파로부를 형성하는 단계;상기 제 1 및 제 2 광도파로부상에 버퍼층을 도포하여 형성하는 단계;상기 제 1 광도파로부 상부에 제 1 전극부와 제 2 전극부를 순차적으로 형성하는 단계; 및상기 제 2 광도파로부 상부에 제 3 전극부를 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 집적형 광변조기 제작 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 제 1 광도파로부와 제 2 광도파로부는 직렬연결되는 집적형 광변조기 제작 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 제 1 광도파로부는 분극 방향이 상호 반대인 제 1 도파로와 제 2 도파로를 포함하는 집적형 광변조기 제작 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 제 2 광도파로부는 제 3 도파로와 절반 영역이 분극 반전된 제 4 도파로를 포함하는 집적형 광변조기 제작 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 제 1 전극부는 반송파 대역 변조용인 집적형 광변조기 제작 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 제 2 전극부는 DC 바이어스 인가용인 집적형 광변조기 제작 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 제 3 전극부는 중간주파수 대역 변조용인 집적형 광변조기 제작 방법.
