- 이동통신시스템의 기지국 시스템에서 채널할당을 수행하기 위한 방법에 있어서,이동국으로의 채널할당이 요구될 때 기지국이 256개의 월시부호들 중 상기 이동국에 할당할 채널에 사용될 월시부호를 나타내는 채널정보와 의사직교함수 (QOF) 인덱스를 나타내는 정보를 포함하는 연결메시지를 기지국에서 제어국으로 전송하는 과정과,상기 연결메시지 내에 포함된 채널 할당 관련 정보를 승인하는 연결 응답메시지를 상기 제어국에서 상기 기지국으로 전송하는 과정과,상기 연결 응답메세지를 수신할 때 상기 기지국이 상기 제어국으로부터 승인된 상기 채널을 상기 기지국에서 상기 이동국에 할당하는 과정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 의사직교함수는 4개인 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 채널정보는 8비트 또는 11비트로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 연결메세지는 대상 기지국(target BTS)에서 소스 기지국(source BTS)의 SDU(Selection/Distribution Unit)로 하나 이상의 A3 인터페이스 사용자 트래픽 연결을 시작하거나 추가할 때 전송되는 A3 인터페이스 메시지인 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 이동국에 할당할 채널이 SCCH(supplemental code channel)인 경우, 상기 연결메세지 내의 설정채널구분자(frame selector 또는 channel type)를 SCCH로 나타내도록 지정하고, 6 비트 채널정보를 가진 월시부호를 지정하는 과정과,상기 연결메세지 내에서 기본채널의 설정으로 중복되는 정보요소는 무시하고, 나머지 정보 필드들만 작성하는 과정을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 이동국에 할당할 채널에 의사직교함수(QOF) 마스킹을 수행할 것인지를 결정하는 과정과,상기 의사직교함수 마스킹을 수행할 경우, 256개의 월시부호들 중 상기 이동국에 할당할 채널에 사용될 월시부호를 나타내는 채널정보를 지정하고, 의사직교함수 마스킹에 사용될 의사직교함수를 나타내는 QOF인덱스를 지정하는 과정과,상기 연결메세지의 나머지 정보 필드들을 작성하는 과정과,상기 연결메세지를 상기 제어국으로 전송하는 더 과정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 이동국에 할당할 채널에 의사직교함수 마스킹을 수행할 것인지를 결정하는 과정과,상기 의사직교함수 마스킹을 수행하지 않을 경우, 256개의 월시부호들 중 이동국에 할당할 채널에 사용될 월시부호를 나타내는 채널정보를 지정하고, 상기 의사직교함수 인덱스를 '00'으로 지정하는 과정과,상기 연결메세지의 나머지 정보 필드들을 작성하는 과정과,상기 연결메세지를 제어국으로 전송하는 과정을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 이동통신시스템의 기지국 시스템에서 채널할당을 수행하기 위한 장치에 있어서,이동국으로의 채널할당이 요구될 때 기지국이 256개의 월시부호들 중 상기 이동국에 할당할 채널에 사용될 월시부호를 나타내는 채널정보와 의사직교함수 인덱스를 나타내는 정보를 포함하는 연결메시지를 전송하는 기지국과,상기 연결메시지를 수신하고, 상기 연결메시지 내에 포함된 채널 할당 관련 정보를 승인하는 연결 응답메시지를 상기 기지국으로 전송하는 제어국을 포함하되,상기 기지국은 상기 연결 응답메세지를 수신할 때 상기 제어국으로부터 승인된 상기 채널을 상기 이동국에 할당하는 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 장치.
- 제15항에 있어서,상기 의사직교함수는 4개인 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 장치.
- 제15항에 있어서,상기 채널정보는 8비트 혹은 11비트로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 장치.
- 제15항에 있어서,상기 연결메세지는 대상 기지국(target BTS)에서 소스 기지국(source BTS)의 SDU(Selection/Distribution Unit)로 하나 이상의 A3 인터페이스 사용자 트래픽 연결을 시작하거나 추가할 때 전송되는 A3 인터페이스 메시지인 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 장치.
