Abstract
Description
(1)外周絶縁機能を有する燃料電池セパレータであって、セパレータの最外周に外周絶縁用のシールリップを備えたことを特徴とする燃料電池用ガスケットおよびその製造方法。
(2)外周絶縁用のシールリップを、ゴム成形時の型押さえ部(金属露出部)よりも外側に配置したことを特徴とする燃料電池用ガスケットおよびその製造方法。
(3)部分型押さえ部よりも外側に、外周絶縁用のシールリップを全周に配置する。これにより、プレコートやアフターコート無しで、セパレータの絶縁機能を確保することが可能となる。
(4)上記構成によれば、プレコートやアフターコートのための工程を増やすことなく、また簡易な方法で絶縁機能を有するガスケットを成形することができる。
(5)また、外周絶縁用のシールリップにより、外周絶縁用のシールリップの内側の絶縁性は確保されるため、外周絶縁用のシールリップの内側に、絶縁NGの原因となるようなボイド、異物、金属露出等があっても問題がなくなるため、絶縁NGの不適合の発生率を少なくすることができる。

Claims (2)
- プレートと、前記プレートの周縁部を被覆したゴム状弾性体よりなる被覆部と、前記被覆部の平面上に設けられたシールリップとを有し、前記被覆部の平面上であって前記シールリップの外周側にガスケット成形時におけるプレート保持痕である凹部が形成されているガスケットにおいて、
前記被覆部の平面上であって前記凹部のさらに外周側に第2シールリップを設けたことを特徴とするガスケット。 - 請求項1記載のガスケットにおいて、
前記プレートは、燃料電池用セパレータであり、
前記第2シールリップは、セパレータ絶縁用のシールリップとして設けられていることを特徴とするガスケット。
