Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The gap adjusting mechanism 13 of hulling rolls 6, 7 is provided with the developing lever 43 for rapidly opening the gap of both hulling rolls 6, 7 and further this lever 43 is provided with a developing lever sensor 44 adapted to detect the operation to open the gap of both hulling rolls 6, 7. The developing lever 43 is so associated as to close a paddy supply rate control valve 9 when the state of operating the developing lever 43 to open the gap of the hulling rolls 6, 7 continues for a specified time and to return the paddy supply rate control valve 9 to the initial state when the developing lever 43 is operated to close the gap of the hulling rolls 6, 7. Consequently, the degradation in the separating accuracy of the unpolished rice by the operation of the developing lever 43 is averted and, therefore, the separating accuracy of the unpolished rice is surely maintained at the high state.
