Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation of a discharge auger, by using a mechanism to move the auger to the discharge operation position when the auger is in an enclosed position and to move the auger to the enclosing position when it is in a discharge operation position according to the operation of a discharge auger-operation switch. CONSTITUTION:A discharge auger 4 to discharge grains from the inner tank of a combine is placed in a manner movable between the enclosing position and the discharging position in the combine. The combine is provided with a means for detecting the presence of the discharge auger 4 in the enclosed position and with a switch to start the transfer of the discharge auger. The combine is further furnished with a mechanism to operate the detecting means when the switch is turned ON and transfer the discharge auger to the discharge operation position when the auger is in the enclosed position or transfer the auger to the enclosed position when the auger is absent at the enclosed position.
