Abstract

Thus, the gate bias voltage reaches a voltage -V being below a pinch-off voltage and the FET 34 is turned off. Since the power consumed in the FET 34 and the drain bias power supply 37 is almost less in this case, the case temperature is lowered and when the inverting input voltage to the comparator 40 is larger than the noninverting input voltage, the FET 34 is restored to the on-state.
