Abstract
PURPOSE:To execute a filter operation at high speed by executing simultaneously an A/D conversion and a multiplying processing in an encoding means. CONSTITUTION:An analog signal inputted to an input terminal 1 is converted to the binary signal of 3 bits by comparators 8a-8c. At present, the output of comparators 8a, 8b and 8c is made into 0, 1 and 1, namely, '2' and on the other hand, a digital signal R0=R1=1, namely, '3' of 2 bits is supplied. At signal converting parts 11a 11d, a gate signal generating circuit 13 generates five types R0.R1, R0'.R1, R1, R0 (R0.R1'+R1.R0') of gate signals. As the result, an encoder 12 outputs '6' which is the multiplying result of an output value=2 of the comparators 8a-8c and a digital input=3, to output terminals 15a-15d in the mode of the binary digital signal. Thus, an A/D converting part 71 is added to an ordinary A/D converting function and has a multiplying function.
