CONSTITUTION:A fuel supply setting device 101 sets a fuel injection quantity on the basis of each signal out of an air flow meter 2, a crank angle sensor 10 and a cooling water temperature sensor 11. When starting time is detected by a starting detecting device 103, the fuel supply setting device 101 sets the initial value of starting fuel to the value conformed to volume at the downstream of a throttle valve 3 at the time of starting, and afterward sets it as reduced with the increase of intake air frequency up to fuel conformed to an intake air quantity to be passed through the throttle valve 3. With this constitution, fuel at the time of starting is properly fed to an engine, thus startability is improvable.
