Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent mixture ratio to be thin caused by vapor generated in a fuel pipe by providing a fuel temperature sensor near a fuel injection valve and increasing fuel injection rate when fuel temperature exceeds the prescribed temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel injection rate at each rotation of an engine 1 of an electronically controlled fuel injection device is controlled by length of time of opening of a fuel injection valve 13 by signals from a control unit 14. The control unit 14 is supplied with output from each of an engine speed sensor 9, a suction rate sensor 16, a cooling water temperature sensor 17, etc. to control valve opening time of the fuel injection valve 13. Furthermore, a fuel temperature sensor 23 is provided in a fuel passage 21 between a fuel pressure regulator valve 20 and the fuel injection valve 13 of the device. Then, the mixture ratio can be maintained appropriate by increasing injection rate of fuel when the temperature detected at the fuel temperature sensor 23 exceeds the fixed value.
