Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily perform welding with few man-hours by interposing brazing filler metal between the blade edge and an impeller cover and performing electron beam welding from the impeller cover surface and performing brazing of the brazing filler metal by its welding heat. CONSTITUTION:Brazing foil 5 is interposed between the edge of a blade 2 integrated with an impeller disc 3 and the rear of an impeller cover 4 to be welded and further, a brazing wire 6 is arranged to a weld zone of both. When the electron beam welding is performed from the surface side of the impeller cover 4, the blade 2 and the impeller cover 4 are joined together by the electron beam welding 7. At the same time, the brazing foil 5 and the brazing wire 6 are molten and the brazing 8 is performed between the blade 2 and the impeller cover 4 by the temperature of base metal attaining a point higher than the melting point of solder by the welding heat.
