Abstract

PURPOSE: To contrive the facilitation of soldering work, the simplification of finishing work, and the improvement of appearance of the soldered product, by tack welding the joining part of the parent metals to be soldered using the solder, and hereafter, by heating each joining part for soldering without using the solder.
CONSTITUTION: At tack welding of the parent metals 31, 32, to be soldered, the tacking zone of parent metals 31, 32, is tack welded 33 by MIG welding method, etc., using the wire type filler metal 35 usuable as the solder. For instance, the specified amount of the filler metal, that is such metals usuable as the solder as the wire type copper, copper alloy, nickel alloy, etc., is used for tack welding of the joining parts of parent metals 31, 32, according to the MIG welding method, by the MIG welder. As a result of this tack welding, a part of parent metals 31, 32, at the tack weld zone is molten to form the deposited metal 34, and hereby, the parent metals 31, 32, are welded. Hereafter, parent metals 31, 32, together are put into the soldering furnace, and are heated and soldered while being conveyed within the furnace. The deposited metal 35 at the weld zone 33 is molten and penetrates into the gap S between the parent metals 31, 32, which are hereby soldered. While this process, the deposited metal 34 keeps the gap S at a specified size. Besides, the weld metal 33 projecting out in a form of the pad is vanished.
