NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I [R1 and R2 are each (substituted) alkyl, (substituted)aryl, heterocyclic residue, etc.; R3 is H (but excepted when R4 is H), (substituted)alkyl, (substituted)alkoxy, (substituted)alkylsulfonyl, halogen, (substituted)aryl, etc.; n1 is 1-4; R4 is H, (substituted)alkyl or (substituted) aryl; X is diazonium residue; n2 is 1-4]. USE:Useful as a charge-generating matter for lamination-type electrophotography photosensitive substance, charge-generating matter in electrophotography photosensitive substance having monolayer-type photosensitive layer formula by dispersing said matter and charge-carrier in a resin, and photoconductive matter in electrophotography photosensitive substance having photosensitive layer formed by dispersing said matter in a resin.
