Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the efficiency of operation of a crane, by setting consecutive code numbers to several storage sections, and by converting a code number inputted through a ten-key board into a running wise destination address and a heightwise destination address for controlling the crane. CONSTITUTION:Bank numbers are set to rows of racks, and inherent code numbers are set to storage sections in the racks. Introduction and delivery works are set through a working cycle setting key board 10 on an input control panel 9, and a bank number and a code number are inputted through a ten-key board 12. Further when setting is made by a set key 17, a converting means 20 converts the code number into runningwise and heightwise destination addresses, and the working cycle and the bank number are set on a crane control device 21. Accordingly, a crane is controlled in accordance with these data, and therefore, the crane travels, ascends and descends to the designated storage section for introduction and delivery working. Accordingly, it is possible to facilitate the input manipulation, and therefore to eliminate erroneous operation.

(Prior Art and its Problems) The shelves in the above-mentioned automated warehouse are provided with a large number of storage compartments divided in the crane travel direction and the height direction. Conventionally, all of the storage compartments on this shelf were assigned a shelf address consisting of a combination of an address in the crane traveling direction, ie, the bay number, and an address in the height direction, ie, the level number.

Therefore, when setting the destination of the crane using the numeric keypad during loading/unloading work, it is necessary to enter the shelf address assigned to the storage section to be loaded/unloaded separately for the bay and the level block. In practice, inputting the selection of the two shelves erected on both the left and right sides of the crane travel path, that is, the bank, is also required, so the input operation is laborious and time-consuming, and there is a drawback that it is easy to operate erroneously.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention proposes a crane automatic operation system for an automatic warehouse that can solve the conventional problems as described above. For each storage compartment divided in the height direction, a unique code number is set for each storage compartment, consisting of consecutive numbers assigned in the order in which they line up.
The code number of the storage compartment that is the target of the loading/unloading work, entered using the numeric keypad, is converted into a destination address in the crane traveling direction (Pei fish) and a destination address in the height direction (Level patient), and the destination address in the crane traveling direction is converted. The crane is controlled to travel according to the destination address in the height direction, and the lifting and lowering carriage of the crane is controlled to move up and down in accordance with the destination address in the height direction.

Each of the columns 5 and 6 has a large number of storage compartments 8 divided into the crane travel direction (pay direction) and the uniformity direction (level direction).
All the storage compartments 8 in each column 5 and 6 are provided with a unique number for each storage compartment 8 consisting of consecutive numbers that wrap around from the column on the crane home position side in the order from the bottom to the top of each column. Code number 1. 2. 3...
- (1 to 60 on the illustrated shelves) are assigned. If code numbers are assigned in this order, even if shelves 5 and 6 are added to the opposite side of the crane home, the storage of the added part will be continuous with the final code number of the existing shelf part. A code number can be set for the section 8, but in some cases, a continuous code number may be set from the lower stage to the upper stage in the order in which the stages are lined up in the direction away from the crane home position side.

When the entry/exit lane 1 is operated to carry out the entry/exit work, the conditions for the work are first set on the input operation panel 9. That is, in a state in which code setting is selected using the setting method selection key 18, after setting work cycles such as a warehousing cycle and a warehousing cycle using the work cycle setting key 10, the storage section 8 to be subjected to the warehousing and unloading work is placed on the left and right shelves. Use the numeric keypad 12 to input the bank fish (shelf 5 - bank 1, shelf 6 - bank 2) that indicates which category the fish belongs to (shelf 5 - bank 1, shelf 6 - bank 2) and the code number assigned to the storage compartment 8 to be worked on. .

Once the various work conditions have been entered as described above on the input operation panel 9, the entered work conditions are set by pressing the cent key 17. At this time, the code number entered as described above is The address conversion means 20 converts the shelf address into a shelf address consisting of a combination of pay fish and level -. For example, when the code number is "9", it is converted to the shelf address "2 Bay - 3 Level", and this is displayed on the pay fish display section 15 and the level display section 16 of the input operation panel 9.

To automatically operate the crane 1 according to the set working conditions, the start key 19 is pressed, and as a result, the crane control device 21 stops the crane 1 at the bay converted by the conversion means 20, for example, 2 bays. In addition to controlling the travel drive motor 22, the elevator drive motor 23 is also controlled so as to stop the elevator elevator 3 at the level converted by the conversion means 20, for example, level 3, and furthermore, the elevator drive motor 23 is controlled to stop the elevator elevator 3 at the level converted by the conversion means 20, for example, level 3. The fork ejection/retraction driving motor 24 and the carriage elevating/lowering driving motor 23 are controlled so that the fork 2 performs a load scooping motion or unloading motion toward the bank 1 (shelf 5) side. Each motor 22~ by this crane control device 21
24, the code number "9" in one work target storage compartment 8, for example, the shelf 5, specified by the bank fish and code number set on the input operation panel 9.
The crane 1 automatically performs the work of unloading the cargo receiver from the storage compartment 8 to the platform 7, or vice versa, the work of loading the cargo receiver from the platform 7 to the storage compartment 8 to be worked on.

The code number-shelf address conversion by the conversion means 20 can also be performed by creating and storing a code number-shelf address (bay floor - level floor) conversion table in advance, and searching this table. It is also possible to perform code number-shelf address conversion by performing calculations for code number-shelf address conversion each time according to the calculated formula. In any case, the microcomputer used to control the crane 1 can be used as the converting means 20.

(Operations and Effects of the Invention) According to the crane automatic operation system for an automatic warehouse of the present invention that can be implemented as described above, the storage section for loading and unloading operations,
In other words, when setting the destination of the crane using the numeric keypad,
All you have to do is enter the code number unique to the storage compartment you are working on, and just enter the address in the crane travel direction (bay direction) as in the past.
Even if you have to input the bank magnetic field separately, the input operation is easier than inputting the bank magnetic field and the height direction address (level fish) separately. Moreover, the input code number is converted into a destination address in the crane traveling direction and a destination address in the height direction, and the crane is controlled to travel according to the destination address in the crane traveling direction, and the crane is controlled according to the destination address in the height direction. Since the lifting carriage of the crane is controlled to move up and down, the traveling control of the crane and the lifting control of the lifting carriage can be performed in the conventional manner using conventional control means, which is economical.
