該上下二段に渡つて形成されたステータ電機子そ
れぞれと対向するカツプ型または円筒型のマグネ
ツトロータの周面にN,Sの磁極を微細ピツチで
2P(Pは複数の整数)極にラジアル配向着磁し
た駆動用磁極を形成し、上記上段のステータ電機
子と下段のステータ電機子間位置のマグネツトロ
ータと対向するステータ電機子位置に位置検知用
磁気センサを配設し、該位置検知用磁気センサと
対向するマグネツトロータの周面で且つ上段と下
段の駆動用磁極との間に凹部を形成し、該凹部に
N,Sの磁極を交互に微細間隔で2P極にラジア
ル配向着磁した磁気エンコーダ磁極部を形成し、
上記凹部に位置検知用磁気センサを臨ましてなる
、位置検知素子を備えたサーボステツピングモー
タ。 (2) 上記マグネツトロータに形成した磁気エン
コーダ磁極部は、上記駆動用磁極と等しい着磁ピ
ツチで且つ同相位置にN,Sの磁極を着磁形成し
