Conventionally, when it comes to packaging transistor radios, calculators, microcassette tape recorders, or similar products, industrial materials, etc., instructions and protective covers are placed inside the main box made of paper or non-foamed resin, and earphones, etc. In addition to storage boxes for small items, main items to be packaged, such as transistor radios, wrapped in foam sheets are stored in tray-shaped auxiliary boxes made of non-foamed resin molded products, and this auxiliary box is fitted into the main box. In many cases, the parts were assembled together and inserted into the outer case, but it was very troublesome to package.
Moreover, in addition to the outer case, it required a main box, an auxiliary box, and a foam sheet, which added to the cost and did not provide sufficient cushioning.

Therefore, in this invention, we are trying to provide a cushioning packaging material that can eliminate the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks and inconveniences. As for its construction, the whole is integrally formed from a synthetic resin sheet, and the base piece is A main body piece with a container-shaped storage recess is attached to one of the pieces via a stand-up piece, so that it can be bent freely.
A cover piece is bendably connected to the other piece of the base piece via an upright piece, and the cover piece can cover the upper surface of the opening of the storage recess of the main piece that is bent toward the upper surface of the base piece. It is characterized by being configured as follows.

In addition, in any implementation, the synthetic resin sheet forming the buffer packaging material A is a relatively hard foam sheet a such as a foam polystyrene sheet, and a polyolefin foam sheet such as a foam polyethylene sheet or a foam polypropylene sheet. A laminated layer of a relatively soft foam sheet c and EVA as a binder b is suitable as it has both rigidity and flexibility, and is particularly soft on the storage recess 30 side for the main packaged items. It is preferable to do so. The relatively soft foam sheet c may be laminated on one side of the relatively hard foam sheet a (see FIG. 8), or on both sides (see FIG. 9).

The use of the shock-absorbing packaging material of this invention having the above-mentioned configuration is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. For example, in the case of packaging a transistor radio, etc., first of all, the base piece and the Place the items to be packaged (schematically shown) such as the radio instruction manual E, the radio's protective cover F, and the storage box G for earphones and other small items on the piece 1, raise the stand-up piece 2, and then The main body piece 3 is bent and placed over the object to be packaged, and the radio H (schematically shown), which is the main object to be packaged, is stored in the storage recess 30 of the main body piece 3, and the other one for standing up. By raising the piece 2' and bending the cover piece 4 above the main piece 3 to cover it, the radio H will be hidden by the cover piece 4, and the cover piece 4 will protect it.

Therefore, according to this invention, since the entire cushioning packaging material is integrally formed with a synthetic resin sheet, it is easy to handle, does not take up much bulk when not in use, and is convenient for transportation and storage, and can be used as a base piece when packaging. A main body piece 3 with a container-shaped storage recess 30 and a cover piece 4 for the main body piece 3 are bendably connected to one of the pieces 1 through an upright piece 2 and the other side through an upright piece 2'. Since the cover piece is configured to cover the upper surface of the opening of the storage recess of the main body piece bent toward the upper surface of the base piece, various thick items to be packaged can be packaged with a lower height and bulk. Packaging with good appearance is also possible. Especially the piece 1 that becomes the base piece
The main body piece 3 can be placed from above to cover each packaged item placed on top, and the cover piece 4 can be placed from above to cover the main packaged item in the storage recess 30 of the main body piece 3. Since it is covered and protected, it is packaged with extremely good cushioning properties. In practice, it is even more convenient to use the cushioning packaging material when the sheet is made of a laminated sheet of a relatively hard foamed sheet and a relatively soft foamed sheet. In other words, while a relatively hard foam sheet can sufficiently maintain its shape through its rigidity and self-supporting properties, a relatively soft foam sheet can utilize its flexibility to enhance the cushioning effect.
It can be used even if the overall thickness is made as thin as possible, and it also has great economic advantages as it eliminates the need for a main box, auxiliary boxes, etc. compared to conventional packaging.

Therefore, by using the buffer packaging material of this invention, it is possible to realize a buffer package that is simpler than ever and has a stable packaging condition, and is a practical product that can greatly contribute to the improvement of packaging for various industrial materials and products. It is excellent.
