Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 この考案は容器口の密閉装置に関し、特に容器
のリムに対する面を熱可塑性材料とし他の面を金
属材料とした積層薄板を閉じ蓋として用い、容器
口のリム上に該薄板を載置し、上方からシール用
ヘツドに嵌挿された圧縮要素により圧力および熱
を加えて該リムに密着させる形式の容器口の密閉
装置に関するものである。
〔従来技術〕
この形式の装置は既に提案されており、具体的
には英国特許第2019310号明細書に示されている
如く、加熱可能なシール用ヘツドを含み、該ヘツ
ドの下方に弾性変形可能な圧縮要素が半径方向外
周に取付けられ、この圧縮要素を容器口のリム上
に前以つて配設された下側に熱可塑性材料を上側
にアルミ箔を重ね合わせたシートからなる閉じ蓋
の上に当てがい、次いで圧縮力と熱とを該閉じ蓋
に加えるために前記シール用ヘツドを降下させる
ように成した容器口の密閉装置である。この装置
において圧縮要素は中央部が外周辺部より低く位
置するように前記シール用ヘツドの外周に嵌挿さ
れた複数枚の皿ばねから形成されており、従つて
この圧縮要素が閉じ蓋に対して作用する時には最
初に容器口のリムの半径方向外周辺部に沿つた位
置を押圧し、次いで順次リムの内周辺部へとリム
の彎曲面に沿つて押圧して行く。この公知の密閉
装置において前記圧縮要素を形成している皿ばね
を加圧する部分はシール用ヘツドの軸に沿つて僅
かに突出する該皿ばねの中央口が嵌挿されている
突出部分の外周面である。この事はシール用ヘツ
ドの熱を皿ばねに伝導するという点を考えると接
触部分が中央口周辺部のみに限定される為にあま
り良好な結果は期待し得ないものであつた。更
に、この公知の装置による密閉動作は容器口リム
の外周辺から始められるので閉じ蓋を周辺から中
央へ寄せるようになる。従つて熱伝導の不十分さ
と同時に蓋が最終的に弛緩した状態でリムに密着
され外観上はもとより液密性においても問題を生
じる事となる。
〔考案が解決しようとする問題点〕
本考案は従来装置と比較して一層良好な加熱状
態によりきちんと緊張された閉じ蓋を容器口のリ
ムに密着させることにより外観上も美しく且つ液
密性にも優れた容器口の密閉装置を提供する事を
目的とする。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本考案は上述の如き良好な外観および液密性を
得んが為に容器のリムに対する面を熱可塑性材料
とし他方の面を金属材料とした積層薄板を前記リ
ムに沿つて熱と圧力を加えて変形および密着させ
た閉じ蓋により容器口を密閉する装置であつて、
加熱要素が埋設されかつ下方部分に環状凹部を備
えた軸方向に可動なシール用ヘツドと、前記シー
ル用ヘツドからの軸方向の動きと熱とを受け前記
積層薄板に倒立円錐形の接触表面を前記リムの内
側から外側に沿つて押接せしめて該積層薄板を変
形および密着させるための前記環状凹部内に嵌挿
された少なくとも1つの皿ばねから成る弾性変形
可能な圧縮要素と、前記シール用ヘツドの下方部
分に取付けられ前記圧縮要素の外径より短かいが
容器リムの外径よりは大きい口径を有し該圧縮要
素を下方より当接支持している環状の保持板とか
ら構成される事を特徴とする容器口の密閉装置を
要旨とし、更に前記圧縮要素に対する熱伝導を一
層良好にする為に本発明は保持板が良好な熱伝導
率を有する材料から成り、更に保持板の圧縮要素
を当接支持する部分が該圧縮要素の倒立円錐形の
表面に適合する傾斜面となつている事を特徴とす
る容器口の密閉装置を提供する事により上述した
問題点は容易に解決される。
〔作用〕
以上述べたように本発明による容器口の密閉装
置はシール用ヘツド内に埋設された加熱源により
発生した熱は該ヘツドを介して環状の保持板に伝
導され更に圧縮要素に伝導され、同時に該ヘツド
の環状凹部の壁面からも直接圧縮要素の全周に亘
つて均一に加熱されるようになつている。また圧
縮要素自体は少なくとも1つの皿ばねから成つて
おり、その表面は倒立した円錐形状斜面を形成し
ているので閉じ蓋を介して容器口のリムの半径方
向内周面に対し接線を成す方向において該斜面の
内縁部が押圧されている。この事に依り閉じ蓋の
リムに掛からない中央部分は平坦に保たれ、更に
圧縮要素が押圧されリムの彎曲表面に沿つて外周
方向へ移動するに連れて当接角度を変えながら閉
じ蓋の圧接範囲を拡大すると同時に該閉じ蓋は全
体的に放射方向に若干緊張される。従つて密閉が
完了した時はリムに掛からない中央部分も含めて
閉じ蓋は全体的に緊張した状態を維持する事が可
能となる。この事は、逆に緊張力に対してのリム
と閉じ蓋外周部との密着力との関係が生ずるが、
前述の如く圧縮要素は全体に均一な温度にて加熱
されるためリムに対する密着力も全周に亘り均一
且つ大きいものとなり、より確実な密閉状態が得
られる。
〔実施例〕
図面を参照しつつ以下にこの考案の一実施例を
詳細に説明する。
第1図は軸方向Aへ上、下に可動に保持器(図
示せず)に取付けられたシール用ヘツド1を示
す。このシール用ヘツド1は加熱要素2が埋設さ
れており更に該加熱要素の温度を調節するのに用
いる温度感知器3が同時に埋設されている。
シール用ヘツド1の下方部分1a内には少なく
とも1つの皿ばね4aから成る皿ばね状の圧縮要
素4を弾性変形可能に、即わち中央部分の軸方向
運動可能に嵌挿するための環状凹部1bが形成さ
れており、この環状凹部は厳密には以下に述べる
保持板13の内方突出上面と共に形成されてい
る。前記シール用ヘツドの下方部分1aの下端面
には圧縮要素を強固に緊締するための環状の保持
板13が図示されない方法でねじ結合されてお
り、更に前記圧縮要素4をその半径方向外周辺が
環状凹部1b内に完全に下方より把捉或いは緊締
されるように前記保持板13の口径を圧縮要素4
の外径より短かいが密閉されるべき容器7の口8
のリム7aの外径よりは大きくなるように設定さ
れている。加うるに該保持板13はシール用ヘツ
ド1からの熱を効率良く圧縮要素に伝導するため
に良好な熱伝導率を有する材料から出来ており、
更に該圧縮要素4はその自由正常位置(第2図
参照)において前記環状凹部1b内に嵌挿されて
いる(第1図)のであるが、その下面は倒立した
円錐形の接触表面4dを呈しており、この表面と
当接支持する保持板13の内径上方隅部は該表面
に適合する傾斜面13aとなつている。この傾斜
面13aに依り圧縮要素4の接触表面4dに対す
る着座面積を拡げて安定した該圧縮要素の支持を
確保するばかりでなく一層良好な熱伝導をも可能
にしている。
圧縮要素4は本実施例においては3枚の皿ばね
4a,4b,4cから成つており、これら皿ばね
は所望の弾撥力を得るために適宜枚数或いは1枚
当りの厚さを加減する事が可能である。
容器口8を密閉するにあたり、容器のリム7a
に対する面を熱可塑性材料(図示せず)とし他方
の、即わち圧縮要素4に対する面をアルミ箔6a
の如き金属材料とした積層薄板から成る閉じ蓋6
を最初に容器口のリム7a上に平坦に載置し、次
に第2図に示されているように圧縮要素4の半径
方向内側縁4eを閉じ蓋6を介して前記リム7a
の半径方向内側部分に対して押圧し、次いでシー
ル用ヘツド1を序々に降下する事に依り圧縮要素
4の接触表面4dは倒立した円錐形状の表面から
平面に移り最終的には圧縮要素は押し返され正常
な円錐形状の傾斜内面の接触表面(の状態)に
至る。この間閉じ蓋6を介したリム7a上の押接
位置は最上突出部分7bを経て凸状外側表面へ移
動し、同時に閉じ蓋6は全体的に放射方向に若手
拡張され、リム7aに掛からない部分も同じく放
射方向に緊張される。また圧縮要素4は全体的に
均一な温度に加熱されているため、リム7aと閉
じ蓋6との密着状態は全周に亘り均一且つ大きい
ものとなる。このようにしてアルミニウム箔6a
の熱可塑性材料部分と特にガラス製の容器リム7
aとの間に実質的な密閉シールが形成される。
さらに半径方向外方へ突出し得る閉じ蓋6の自
由縁部は容器を開口するための「把み縁」として
用いる場合は特に加熱圧着を行なう必要はない。
〔効果〕
本考案に依る容器口の密閉装置を用いてシール
作業を行う事に依り、容器口のリムに対して閉じ
蓋が均一な温度で且つ均一な押接力で圧縮要素に
依り該リムの半径方向内側部から変形および密着
されるので全体的に緊張した且つ均一の密着力が
得られる為、閉じ蓋の引きはがし強度を増加さ
せ、内容物の不意の衝撃による部分的応力の集中
に対しても全体が均一な緊張状態でシールされて
いるため局部的剥離などに対しても極めて効果が
大きい。

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 1 容器のリムに対する面を熱可塑性材料とし他
    方の面を金属材料とした積層薄板を前記リムに
    沿つて熱と圧力を加えて変形および密着させた
    閉じ蓋により容器口を密閉する装置であつて、
    加熱要素が埋設されかつ下方部分に環状凹部を
    備えた軸方向に可動なシール用ヘツドと、前記
    シール用ヘツドからの軸方向の動きと熱とを受
    け前記積層薄板に倒立円錐形の接触表面を前記
    リムの内側から外側に沿つて押接せしめて該積
    層薄板を変形および密着させるための前記環状
    凹部内に嵌挿された少なくとも1つの皿ばねか
    ら成る弾性変形可能な圧縮要素と、前記シール
    用ヘツドの下方部分に取付けられ前記圧縮要素
    の外径より短かいが容器リムの外径よりは大き
    い口径を有し該圧縮要素を下方より当接支持し
    ている環状の保持板とから構成される事を特徴
    とする容器口の密閉装置。 2 保持板が良好な熱伝導率を有する材料から成
    り、更に保持板の圧縮要素を当接支持する部分
    が該圧縮要素の倒立円錐形の表面に適合する傾
    斜面となつている事を特徴とする前記実用新案
    登録請求の範囲第1項に記載の容器口の密閉装
    置。
