Abstract

PURPOSE:To feed papers with appropriate timing, by measuring a required time for which a paper reaches a predetermined position between a stacker and its aligning position. CONSTITUTION:When a reference signal is delivered to a control section 12, the control section 12 energizes an electro-magnet clutch 2 at a time t1 to discharge a paper 5. When the paper 5 passes just above a position detecting sensor 13 disposed in the vicinity of a register roll 11 at a time t2, the control section 12 computes a required time Td=t3-t1, and the detecting time Td is subtracted from a nominal reaching time T which is previously stored, so that a time difference DELTAT=T-Td is calculated.
